    Despite promising "the greatest leap in gameplay in FIFA's history", FIFA 18 is a product quite similar to FIFA 17 in which there are small improvements, but not major revolutions.

    FIFA 18 does everything FIFA 17 did, but better. The Return of Alex Hunter is a much-improved version of last year mode and turns out to be a must play for everyone who owns this game. Visuals are stunning but gameplay is still the king on the best game of the most played sport of the world.

    There was nothing outright “wrong” with last year’s product, but there was room for improvement. It seems EA Canada was receptive to what could alter things for the better, as many beneficial changes proliferate 18. Gameplay feels much more natural and welcoming, equating to more accessibility. The ways to play are well thought out and varied, adding to replay value. And the garnish of presentation scores big, leading to a pleasant sensory experience. If you like soccer and video games, give this serious consideration.

    Ultimately, FIFA 18 introduces enough new ideas to suggest it’s not sitting on the laurels of its success. However, it’s a simplified experience, one that fails to embrace the complexity of football at the highest level. Its focus on attack makes for spectacular matches, but they often feel like extravagant offensive training sessions than a proper match with depth and strategy.

    While FIFA 18 may not excel in every area and has some issues on the pitch, the game offers great value and something for everyone. The story mode is excellent, career mode is improved, the online suite of features is especially strong and everything surrounding the pitch such as the visuals, presentation and atmosphere work to enhance the moments that make the sport so exciting.

    It's off the pitch that EA excels. From the variety of game modes on offer and how everything's presented, to the constant updates in FUT's Team of the Week, Daily Objectives, and discussion of real-world happenings in commentary, FIFA 18 captures the world of football and confidently translates it into a video game. On the pitch, however, EA's soccer series is still lagging far behind PES 2018's more fluid, satisfying football.

    I love football and I played every PES and Fifa game since 1995. I do not understand low user scores for Fifa 18 since I think it is one of the best Fifa’s and my favourite right now in 2021. Probably users were right since it had goalkeeper problems and too effective finence shots at launch. However finence shots were optimized in first title update and goalkeepers were improved in 3 different title updates. Still if you are not happy from goalkeepers you can improve them from options menu skillers (I adjusted to 55 and perfectly balanced now). Regarding graphics, animations and most of all gameplay is amazing. Shots, passes, defending and CPU AI is great. After buying fifa 21 i hated the game and I regret I bought it. I decided to try old Fifa games and downloaded Fifa 18 and I was so surprised. For me Fifa 18 is the best football game now .I am a Career Mode player and I enjoy it so much.It is a great improvement on Fifa 17 basis. Additionally World Cup 2018 is very enjoyable and licensed. Regarding online I will not comment because I did not play much.
    This game is hundred times better than Fifa 21 and Fifa 20 and better than Pes 2020 and 2021.

    In conclusion, even today in 2021 January I strongly recommend all players to give Fifa 18 a try. A final hint will be that for Fifa 18 EA finished gameplay title updates in January 2018 (4 months from launch) whereas in last Fifa games it continoues till May. It shows how gameplay is better in my opinion.

    The AI and some of your own players they just decide when to play well and when not to. I'm not the best player by any means but i can usually beat the AI in legendary.n Sometimes your players just stand and watch as the ball passes them, they are lazy. And the AI are sometimes useless and on other times unbeatable but not in the good way , You cant touch them, and when you do. U get a red card.

    Amount of scripting in squad battles and online gaming is incredible. This game is a disgrace among Fifa's. Even worse than Fifa 17.

The game comes out to release with such bugs that it is impossible to play. People pay for the game 50-100$, and receive a product that does not work.
