Crucible is an acceptable mix of popular genres (MOBA, battle royale, hero shooter) that struggles to make its own personality shine bright. Just as expected, Minecraft: Dungeons is a wholesome character building game that one might be tempted to tag as a ‘cute Diablo’. Don’t fool yourself though —higher difficulties and bosses are indeed challenging, and you’re forced to think and act swiftly. Fortunately, Mojang lets you build your own hero on the fly, just by swapping their equipment, so you’ll end up trying tons of fun new stuff very often.

ITTA is a good indie title that manages to congruently combine a series of genres under the same production. With an eye-catching storyline, he manages to attract and propel the player in his advance, being at all times entertained in his exploration and combat sequences. Unfortunately, some aspects such as its low difficulty and duration mean that it cannot be considered as relevant a game within the independent scene as others that have preceded it.

SnowRunner is not fun, it manages to be a rewarding experience for a small section of the public and it improves on its predecessors in practically every section. The sensations when driving on different terrains and the need to prioritize strategy and planning over speed or brute force are his best guarantees. Daymare 1998 successfully emulates everything the Resident Evil formula does. In fact, playing it right after Resident Evil 3 Remake I have had a very similar sensation in the playable. If you are a genre lover it is a required title, a Resident Evil can call it. Daymare 1998 is worth playing for its history, its puzzles, and the design of its levels. However, despite trying, we did not manage to bring anything new to the genre and we faced economic limitations in its development. It would be desirable to see a sequel with a bigger budget that allows the people of Invader Studio to unleash their talent.

In short, Holfraine must be judged in context within the Talents initiative. Fluxart proves to have a good basis to continue working on future developments although they have to focus on ideas and genres that are affordable if they want to achieve commercial success and cease to be a mere project. Probably your highlight is your honesty with the player in terms of price. Holfraine arrives at the market with a price of only € 4.99 and included in PlayStation Plus output although this point can be discussed by the need of the game to have a community to back it up. It will be necessary to see what evolution it has after March since its lacks and the competition in its sector prevent it from being able to keep the player hooked for long.

Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is a good action isometric perspective RPG that knows how to take what you need from games like Diablo III or Path of Exile. Its playability is fun and demanding, although it does not escape the sense of repetitiveness inherent in the works of its genre. It highlights the excellent work that has been carried out in the system of skills improvements and levels rise, but it is dazzled by a multiplayer section still pending some improvements in its servers, although it has been on track since its launch. With a new mode at the end of the main campaign, the options for those who wish to stay are endless.
