    Borderlands 3 is like a lion wearing a Rick and Morty shirt--It's an apex predator that's embarrassingly out-of-touch. The gameplay is unmatched in quality, and I would argue that if you mute the game and turn off subtitles, it's the best looter-shooter put to market. The problem is that the humor usually misses and the character moments just never land.     But the most unforgivable sin this game commits is ruining Rhys as a character. I will never forgive Gearbox for that.

    **** story only really saved by gun play, all the writing in this title is hilariously bad. The gun play is the alright but still lacks a bit as some guns sound like pea shooters still. Also bugs galore almost as many as fallout 76.

    The game is redundant. Take Borderlands 2. Add a few graphics updates. Add bugs. Mix in a bit of drama ($10 off... no just kidding) (Play this on Steam! No, just kidding). Finish that off with a retread humor, and you have Borderlands 3!

    This is a $29.99 expansion at best.

    Borderlands 3's best feature is its combat. It feels great to attack enemies in this game, just as it probabaly felt great for Randy Pitchford to assault a Gearbox employee in the hotel lobby of a gaming convention.

    Most annoying bunch of voice actors I have ever heard in a game and I have played too many to count. The optimization of the game is a mess, the dialogue is a mess, the fps on a 2080+6700k is barely 60 in fights at medium. I think Borderlands 2 was pretty good, although a lot of bad humour. This is 100 times that and now performance is bad as well. And hiring a man to voice anMost annoying bunch of voice actors I have ever heard in a game and I have played too many to count.     DONT BUY THE GAME NOW! WAIT UNTIL IT WORKS.

    This game is fun....when it works. Crashes, bugs so often that I cant play the game now. For real, I start the game and within 3-5 sec my game crashes. Started a new playthrough and happen again. Can't hate the game but Epic and/or Gearbox has ALOT to work on. Releasing the game on Epic was a mistake, big mistake.

The game play and skill tree progression is good. but the game is not only exclusive to epic games but also runs like absolute **** on lowest settings using an rtx card... the character development and voice acting **** sucks. Ava shouldn't exist. Lilith's personality is like cardboard, disappointing ending and final boss was boring, predictable and uninteresting.The side missions have better writing and dialogue than then entirety of the story. any of the interesting characters where only there for a slight portion of the story. Borderlands is now a happy colorfull censored millenial panderfest... the game has no soul, no character and no good writing or immersion. did I mention the implementation of anti consumer DRM Denouvo?… Expand

    This game is incomplete, rushed, and glitch infested. This feels like an expansion rather than a full on sequel. Typical coming from 2K Games. It doesn’t help that this trash is also Epic exclusive. Disgraceful sequel to the borderlands franchise. I’m refunding this garbage. DO NOT BUY!!!

    Borderlands 3 single player is good and what you expect plus a few improvements. Local co-op split-screen is broken and unplayable however. There is no option for vertical split-screen and fonts are too small in single player as it is and are thus totally unreadable in horizontal split-screen.     This game is much worse than BL2 or pre-sequel. The villains are unconvincing, the plot is disappointing, the humor (ass-related jokes) does not appeal to mature audience, and you cannot skip the boring cut-scenes.

    Really disappointed. Loving the gameplay and new mechanics but can't believe they put out such an unfinished game after six years though. If they fix performance issues and bugs soon I'll change this review, but for now this is insane to charge 60 dollars for.

    However, this is pretty much where the Good ends and the Bad starts. In my very honest and disappointed opinion (being a huge fan of the BL series since the first game), the writing of the story and of most of the characters in it is absolutely horrendous. It ruins everything.

    First of all, the story's pacing is very bad. The missions do, in fact, flow into each other nicely, but there's no real direction to them. To me, it genuinely felt more like a grind than a true progression. A huge contributor to this grind-like experience were (almost) all the NPC's in the game. They were annoying as hell, unrelatable, and lacked depth. They were really just a bad means to an end, which specifically applies to most of the newly added characters, such as Ava, Vaughn, Rhys, or Lorelei..

    In conjunction with the poor writing for them, also the BL-typical humor is completely dragged through the mud in this one. It's almost nonexistent. The game tries so hard time and time again to be funny but it just ends up adding to the player's annoyance and frustration. It really didn't make me want to continue playing the game because it just kept on coming and coming, and every new attempt at being funny essentially was just a +1 on the disappointment scale.

    Also the story's villains were a huge disappointment. There was actually a lot of potential in them, but it wasn't actualized. Instead they ended up being unbelievably one-dimensional and basically made the player hate them only because they would constantly resort to calling him a "hctib" (reversed) and other such names. This just made them seem more dumb than anything else that the """writers""" possibly intended it to be.

    In conclusion, try it out for youself if you like, but IMO it's wasted money. I don't recommend it.    … Expand

    I liked how gearbox and 2k made 6 month beta testing for this game to be sure that the bugs/other issues are fixed for the steam release. Maybe I'll buy it on steam (if I can run it whit my just bought 1400 euro pc) and I sure do hope 2k doesn't send some men in black suits to my house to investigate me and force me to delete this review along with everything else i have in the interwebz.

    some returning characters barley appeared in the game itself that you wanted more from which just pisses me off, the campaign itself has the same amount of missions as the bl2 campaign, its about the same size but longer because there is a lot of travel or waiting for npcs to do something
    its clear there was a major rewrite after the end of tales and pre sequal. the villains and the story dont fit at all with the way bl2 ended and the new bl2 dlc was so that they can have a 7 years too late change of heart
    if u play borderlands for the story dont buy this game
    the over 1 billion guns is also a lie, there are like 20 parts for each gun that can rotate so its 1 billion gun combinations. on the start of the game i looted a sniper from a chest and in that same minute i got the same gun as a mission reward. more dups throughout the game
    tbh the best part about this game is the ice t cameo
    and they spoiled most of him in the demos they sent out
    still havent played the endgame, did proving grounds once and it was meh
    oh yeah jokes, again thats why ice t was the best part about the game, he had the best jokes. all those jokes traveled between boomer to ok, rarely will make you laugh. the only good parts were spoiled in demos. i honestly find it hard to believe this took them 5 years to make because the big change in direction couldnt have happened right after tales ended
    the wrost joke is after u kill someone of something big things go south fast and it says to be continued in bl4 and i didnt believe it but it drew on for half a minute or even a minute and with the greed of 2k and randy dickfork i started believing it near the end and was about to punch the first computer related thing i could find
    it honestly doesnt feel like a borderlands game as much as 1 2 pre and tales and tales wasnt a borderlands game
    story is week because u dont care about anything, they hold hostage everything u hoped for through the entire story and almost all of it wont be shown

    The game is just a performance mess on day one. I got 8700k and RTX 2080, and i drop below 60 fos no matter the graphic settings due to the game apparently only runs on 2 cpu cores where i can't get the game to use more than max 40% cpu or 30-35% average with gpu usage at 50-60%, 40% when the fps tanks during combat at 55 fps.

    So no, this game at launch is just a broken mess.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'm seeing a massive amount of negative scores that go a bit too hard on the game for whats being said, so here is my take on BL3.

    Its mediocre.

    The game has the same sort of charm BL2 had, but its biggest failure is its story and boss design. You hear the Calypsos try their best to taunt you like Jack did, however the threats are mostly meaningless because you tear through them like butter, and its get annoying after a while.

    The guns are not as varied as they were in BL2. Some guns act the exact same as others for a large amount of the randomly generated pool of weapons you can acquire, with a few exceptions. Most of the elements doesn't do enough damage to justify using them, as a good Jakobs pistol can shred through most enemies like paper.

    The boss designs are just re-skinned, bigger versions of enemies you thought up until reaching the boss, with some big AoE moves, not to mention the only challenge of these bosses is not having enough ammo to destroy the mountain sized health bars they have. Some bosses are also not scaled to the level they are placed in, such as Killavolt, who is notorious for killing many players with his squad killing moves filling the entire arena with no hope of avoiding it.

    Performance wise the game is very buggy, with many frame rate drops. PC performance from what I've heard is abysmal (I'm currently playing Xbox because I'm not supporting the EGS).

    The overall experience is just dull and fails to deliver something that was hyped up and promised by Gearbox, only to fall flat on its face and provide a game that only adds to the Borderlands franchise, but nothing else.

    A mediocre game after waiting 6 years. I am disappointed in how this game turned out.

    + new characters seem fun initially.
    - Lack of vertical split screen?? and the horizontal is a disaster - tiny font, lag, ridiculously wide perspective on widescreen tv.
    - It's nearly unplayable with crashing problems, freezes, glitches.

    Would not have purchased with horizontal split only.

    After playing for about 4 hours i'm a level 7 Siren. The way to get there was a awfull experience. No... I don't mean the gameplay… It's the huge amount of bugs this games has on the PC (Can't Judge for console). In these 4 hours I played I already crashed 7 times    I really want to love this game. Borderlands 2 was a awesome ride till the end but this game keeps me from getting into it.

    After playing for about 4 hours i'm a level 7 Siren. The way to get there was a awfull experience. No... I don't mean the gameplay… It's the huge amount of bugs this games has on the PC (Can't Judge for console). In these 4 hours I played I already crashed 7 times to desktop, lost my sound for 50% (Still had music but no guns,talk or other effects), I lost screen resolution on crashes and had to set it to 1080P and then back to my own resolution to fix it. And I was stupid enough to try DX12 instead of DX11. After that I wasn't able to launch the game anymore. Took me at least 10 minutes to find the solution and fix this in a config file.

    For the gameplay is seems like a nice game. It plays smooth and it really feels like borderlands. If I could play this strait without crashes and weird errors I would have give this game a solid 8 for the 4 hours I played. Now I need to give it a 4 till we can finally play it like we should.    … Expand

    I think they lost the spirit of the borderlands series. I've lost this "liberty" feeling I had when walking around the BL2 map. Now every map is an hallway. You just press W or Z, depends on your keyboard, left mouse click. Do not even think about "exploration" everything is thought as if it was an hallway. No more "hidden boss" everything is shown on your map. No need to farm forI think they lost the spirit of the borderlands series. I've lost this "liberty" feeling I had when walking around the BL2 map. Now every map is an hallway. You just press W or Z, depends on your keyboard, left mouse click. Do not even think about "exploration" everything is thought as if it was an hallway. No more "hidden boss" everything is shown on your map. No need to farm for legendary weapons anymore, got 4 by lvl 10. In random crates. Same with side-quests, they are all made so you don't have to move too far from the main quest.     For me, this game equals the hype! Gearbox did an awesome job! I love the fighting mechanics, the characters and the story line. My PC is 6 years old and runs the game smoothly! I'd love to see it run on ULTRA when I update my graphics card! but for now, I'm having a Lot of fun with my old junker of a PC. I'm getting around 50 FPS, zero lag when playing with my friends online. The onlyFor me, this game equals the hype! Gearbox did an awesome job! I love the fighting mechanics, the characters and the story line. My PC is 6 years old and runs the game smoothly! I'd love to see it run on ULTRA when I update my graphics card! but for now, I'm having a Lot of fun with my old junker of a PC.     At least, in cooperative, while talking to your friends about random subjects it's much easier to disregard the factors that make this game boredom, as it feels like it becomes a secondary. You tend to focus more on these during single-player.

    Too buggy and laggy. Way too much frustration to play it in this state. If you, like me, want more Borderlands 2 with new missions and guns - you can have your share of fun with Borderlands 3. But I still highly recommend to wait a few months till major issues will be fixed so you can really enjoy this game.

    - the editor manipulated the reporters to have a good rating on metacritic by giving access only to some chosen compliant journalists.
    - the game is so terrible, an alpha version must have less bug and better performance than this release. you can lost 10h of play due to stupid bug. there is no optimization, performance are so poor.

I've seen worse. The only problem is the writing. It's just weird. Now, if you manage to make it run properly you're in for a treat. The gameplay is as good or even better than any other borderlands games, it's parkour mechanic definitely improves the combat by alot. It's bosses are extremely fun and challenging, love some of the attacks. It's guns are just soooo good with so many yet so diverse. However, I feel like guardian rank should have an option to be turned off and on as sometimes it makes the game too easy. The amount of loot also just makes this game have alot of replayability,, trying to get all the legendaries is one hell of a challenge considering the amount of guns you can get. The graphics is pretty good, I mean it's cell shading. How can you mess that up? However there are a few places where the graphics just looks ew but you can easily ignore them. However the map design can sometimes be a little too large which creates some empty areas. The soundtrack is simply amazing, I literally once stood still in a map just to listen to it's BGM. And another thing I should mention, NO MICROTRANSACTIONS!!! (Well, non cosmetics ones anyways)

    Pros:
    -Amazing Gameplay
    -Diversity of guns (all guns don't feel the same)
    -NO MICROTRANSACTIONS WOOHOOOO (non cosmetics)
    -Great Replayability
    -Great BGM

    Cons:
    -Weak story/writing and antagonists
    -Extreme technical issues (might not apply to some users)
    -Guardian rank not being able to be turned off and on which sometimes makes the game super easy
    -Some maps are a little too empty

    UPDATE: Played on a friend's computer that had the major tech issues and my God is it horrible. If you manage to get the major tech issues it would be a 4/10    … Expand

    This game his huge total mess, crashes,bugs, glitches and many more stuff, the story is not good compared to the first 2 games. I dont recommend this game wait until they fix everything and buy it on sale cause this is not worth 60€/$ and the Critics made by top critics were most likely payed or they re friends cause of the high score they gave to this terrible game.

    It lives up to the content you should expect when played the previous releases.

    Apart from everything that the game delivers it only drops frame rate now and then, but 90% of time it runs smoothly.

    This game has very cool looking characters. Everything else is outdated to say the least. Mediocre graphic, same gameplay that was 7 years ago, very bad jokes. But it is a question of taste. What makes me mad is the technical condition this game was released. It is just unaceptible. 5000 signs is not enought to describe all of the gliches and technical flaws this game has

This game at launch was a 7/10. The campaign is okay. 2 really cringey characters ( Ava and Vaughn) that made me despise the game and wish I could skip cutscene (yeah that's not a thing). Post launch has been a nightmare. This game has 2 major flaws. 1. Major performance issues with the echo. 2 a game that says they have a billion guns but you can only keep 50 of those guns in the bank. Neither issues is being addresses by the incompetent team working on the game. Instead they nerf drop rates, nerf items, nerf characters, and nerf fun. The first event week was a joke. Overall the game was fun but has been completely ruined by the dev's lack of understanding what a pve looter is.… Expand

    Critics either played a different game or were paid off to give those scores. no way in hell this game deserves more than a 5 or 6.
    Epic store excusivity sours an otherwise good launch, aside from missing bank items, broken cloud saves, lost progress.

    Story sucked, missing plot holes, worst antagonists ever... gearbox you failed hard on this one. Enjoy my money.

    i don't know why people review this game as bad, it's the same old mechanichs from the other presentations, if you are a fan of borderlands franchise this game is for you, the same experience and the same mature languaje, i really enjoy this game and if you play it with a friend is more fun. ill give 10/10 because make his job, very few bugs and lots of blood.

    * Worst writing in franchise history. Yes, that includes TPS. I remember when everyone thought this one will be great because Anthony Burch is gone, but its honestly *way* worse. This game tries way too hard to be dramatic and crashes terribly. It also misses the ironic touch that made the others such great light entertainment.

    * Story feels like a slap to my face. Fan favorite >!Maya gets killed almost with a wave of the hand!< just to push Ava, a character literally nobody likes. >!And then Lilith kills herself!< in one of the most blatant "mcguffin" scenes I've EVER encountered in my life. She just flew up to the moon(through space..) to use her siren magic to close the moon's vault key magic, because apparently that's how it works, and then somehow also >!died as a result.!< Seriously Gearbox? I know that BL never really made much sense and had lots of "its space magic, ain't gotta explain **** moments, but at least the other games didn't take themselves this seriously. And then Lilith tells Ava that she's the head of the Raiders now. Really? Not Tannis who's standing right there, not Ellie or *any other adult*, but this teenager who's been with the group for a week?? The ****

    * Some other minor writing points: Remember when being a Siren was something special and not just passed around like a volleyball? Vaughn has become the worst and most obnoxious character in all of video games. Many new NPCs are supposed to be "cool", like Lorelei and Clay, but tbh I prefer my BL NPCs weird and crazy. Leave the coolness to the Vault Hunters. Also, I miss the general silliness. Again, this game took itself way too serious.

    * Many characters are just missing from the game. Brick and Tina show up once, Mordecai only shows up in audio and for his character card intro and then is never seen again. Half of BL2's cast is missing completely. Despite the game being big enough for all of them, especially as quest givers like 2 did. The cast itself is heavily underutilized.

    * Buggiest AAA game I've played in ages. Elemental effects not disappearing from the screen, the last enemy in "defend/clean the room" objectives not spawning or spawning outside the map, game randomly switching between press and toggle run controls, etc.

    * Instead of each area having unique area specific challenges like finding and burning all Firehawk symbols, you now get a bunch of generic collectibles across all maps. Those are interesting, like Typhon's logs, but they're not the same as having unique things to look for.

    * Good enemy variety but why do Goliaths only show up in the late second half, and even then are heavily underutilized? The game has variety, but uses it rarely. Most fights are against the same three enemy types.

    * Speaking of enemies: where are they? In 2 you'd fight multiple buzzards as well as multiple enemy cars at the same time. In 3, despite having huge areas, you have to be lucky just to see 2 enemy vehicles driving around. And maybe its another bug, but many areas, despite having barrels and ammo pick ups were completely empty, outside of that 1 sidequest that would lead you there, as opposed to always spawning enemies at least.

    * Despite feeling much bigger than 2, and having some huge maps, BL3 has +30 missions less than BL2. And it really shows. It often feels empty compared to 2 and many areas are underutilized and miss around two or more sidequests. Many main maps in 3 feel like side maps from 2, but it really comes down to how they're used. And its sub par in this one.

    Despite all this, I really enjoyed it. Game/gunplay is obviously top and much more engaging than previously. But it also feels sloppy and like the devs cut corners way too often. Sometimes I wanna applaud them for extra detail, but often enough I'm baffled by stupid design/production decisions. And the ending made me actually angry. With FFVIIR's ending its at least deliberate. Here however, it feels like utter incompetence and cluelessness. I honestly think they need to bring back Anthony Burch. BL's writing is evidently worse without him.    … Expand

A Paragon system like in Diablo 3, Multiplayer like always but the stability is awful so you might getting kicked from the party allot. Also the same bugs like getting stuck when you run etc. by an invisible wall. This game is in every Borderlands games and is kinda rlly annoying but yeah. Even with all these bugs, the game is still the best I've played 2020. Wish they would increase the bank storage, 300 slots are just not enough. But keep in mind, the story is horrible. Srsly rlly rlly bad. SPOILER: Like in Borderlands 2 etc. they are gona kill allot of known characters you might loved for a long time. So yeah..... this is the worst part of the game oh and not to forget the horrible optimization of this game. So who are they gona kill next? Brick? Tiny Tina?     Excellent game. Beautiful to look at and a lot of fun to play, I've dumped a ton of hours into it. They have continued to add to and improve it as time goes on. No microtransactions, excellent. My only tiny gripe is that the characters could have written a bit better, very childish humor that often falls flat.

    i'm not get higher than 80/90 fps and sometimes it wil be around 45.. the textures when you spam the first time are bad but that is an easy update to patch that.. sometimes i got delay in my inventory when i open in after doing alot bosses.

    Why i love the game?
    just because its borderlands. i got a **** ton of guns some very fun ones, i love to see some old characters backstory i love to see some old characters come back and i cannot wait to see the dlc in the hope we gonna search for lilith    … Expand

    I had played the game for a while but then i got a sound bug where no matter where i am, or if im fighting or not, every 10-15 seconds i heard the sound of a enemy sniper shooting at me, but there is no sniper, its just bugged, like the whole game itself.

    Weapons are a big part of this game and they are an absolute 10/10. Unfortunately i like to try all weapons that drop in game and if you have the same illness your first game time will be 1/3 part gun testing because there are so many types of them :)

    My favourite thing was the diversity in locations. I really enjoyed the atmosphere on the planets. The player talents/builds are really thematic and well designed (sure need some power correction on them but we are getting patches week by week with fixes).

    Characters. Terrible new ones and unchanged old ones. Protagonist plays NO PART IN THE STORY, according to cutscenes.
    Story. Ever thought about Handsome Jack? Yeah, we screwed him up and made 2 modern kids. Enjoy our "efforts".
    Graphics. Yeah, it's improved, but not really. Yet, minimal requirements get you nowhere, but 30 fps tops.
    Gameplay. Gearbox actually bothered to work on it. Pleasant UI, sliding, climbing, slam (hello, pre-sequel). Bosses are fun to fight against.
    Sound. It's great too. Bosses have their own unique soundtracks as well as we still get that Pandora-like ambience. Weapons make noises too, and not bad.
    Events. Honestly, I expected more. Not only the developer follows "the cult of season pass (DLC)", they actually try to make you GRIND. On the same map. With same objectives.
    Exclusivity. This is the biggest failure of Gearbox, along with EGS. You guys are trying to separate the world of gamers. You openly lie to us. Just because you don't like the cut taken by the shop, CUSTOMERS have to suffer.

    Overall: the disgusting product of lies and greed from Randy Pitchford, doing his best following EGS to separate players, to make people upset. More than that, a fishy game of questionable quality, created without actually listening to the fan base.

    Since launch i've had countless hours of fun with no issues what so ever, leveled all 4 characters to level 53 and was eagerly awaiting the new DLC.

    I must say this third game is way fun and much better than the first and second game. The gun fight is agile and the variety of enemies plus level is more than the previous games. Though I still miss Handsome Jack as the main villain. I reccomend people to play at least campaign co-op up to 2 players at least. Is way more fun to play with other player.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Just finished this game after buying it with a group of friends months ago. We couldn't make it to 7th chapter due to a mind-numbing story.
    Story
    The story is S**T The people that made this game lacked love for the Borderlands series, and it shows through their portrayal of the characters in the series that we had grown to love. ELLIE and TANNIS take center stage in this game for no discernible reason other than the fact the developers could not develop the original crew further or make fun, new personalities. DID YOU KNOW THAT ELLIE IS FAT, SOUTHERN AND IS SEXUALLY ATTRACTED TO EVERYONE? No? Well here is a **** innuendo tied to her every breath. Did you know Ava is annoying brat that no one in the world could ever care about due to her Unlikable personality and COMPLETE lack of depth? No? Well here she is in every cut scene ever made. Even Lilith was reduced to a bland quest vendor. The incredible writing for the Tales from the Borderlands characters left everyone excited for their presence in Bl3. Rhys and Vaughn were reduced to their most basic, and displayed none of the charisma or charm they were born with. But hey, at least Scooter isn't alive to see it.
    The Calypso Twins started to become likeable after Tyrene gifts you a gun for killing yourself, and the twins talk to each other like real people on the ECHO comms. However, by that time, Troy was about to die, and Tyrene would no longer have the chance to develop herself.
    They did well in some regards, including BALEX and his girlfriend. A shame they didn't have a lot of screens time, but with what they had they displayed chemistry and great humour. That skillful writing did not translate anywhere else in the game. General Traunt was also a breath of fresh air, a character that didn't take himself too seriously.
    Gun play
    The BL team did really well with the gun play. The step from BL2 to BL3 is ginormous and is worthy of praise. Certain elements of guns made them a delight to use.
    If I had to critique the gun play, it would be that the guns weight felt the same, whether it be recoil or sway it never went beyond the usual parameters. In order to give the weapons unique personalities, they should have explored more avenues, such as more detailed gun smoke, engravings, sound changes, weight and different variations of reloading. Particle effects needed to turned way down, bout to have a seizure.
    Loot
    Looting in this game was very rewarding. Too rewarding. A legendary item for farting it seems. They are called legendarily for a reason, so why is the game handing them out so freely? Legendarily in this game spawn more frequently than purples in BL2. This takes away the thrill of getting lucky with an orange. By the way you can buy legendarily from vendor machines for 3000 bucks at level 30? Its like they didn't even play their own game.
    Enemies
    Complete. **** Let's give Troy some giant orbs or something idk. Merge Tyrene with a generic OOD from Doctor Who IDGAF. So boring to fight and even more depressing is that the whole game leads up to these so called 'peaks'. Enemies you fight are generic, the psychos are less psychotic and few remember able sentences. And they all talk so damn much you've heard it all by chapter 10.
    Levelling
    I was always 4 levels or so behind the enemies and they were decimated. No challenge, no need to level up and come back, no need to find stronger guns they just melt in your presence. Their guns are too weak and you are too strong. The times I felt a challenge were few and far between. To draw a comparison to BL2, when I was even one level behind I felt the struggle. Which then forced me to either adapt my current play style or do side missions to level up and get better loot. In this game, you run and gun like an unstoppable jugg, which made for a mindless sprint through the battles.
    Cut scenes
    AK THU. Disgusting. Revolting. After deleting all life within a 10-mile radius of the objective, the Twins still manage to get their way. Not the sneaky tactic Handsome Jack used to kill Roland, no they walk up and do their business. And where are you? You turn into a ghost that was wiped from everyones memory. Lilith loses her powers in the most pathetic of ways. Maya dies in the most pathetic way imaginable. Tannis is kidnapped in the most lazy way possible. And you, the player, are powerless to stop them. You don't matter in this story line, until it comes time for the Twins to die. Having no bearing on the game until the end is so mind-numbingly boring and making playing it a complete slog fest.
    Ava
    **** Ava, all the homieshateAva. Annoying ass bish I'm would have preferred her going REEE on the comms, instead of hearing her whine all game. F**k Ava. And her ****ty off-screen arc. Where she turned from a brat to B**CH I really don't know why the devs thought anyone would care about her, ak THU.
    Future
    Lilith left Ava in charge for some reason, so I have low hopes. Unless Randy leaves and takes Ava with him.    … Expand

    This game is not a BL2 Expansion, it is a fully fledge game with a lot of work put into it. The game is fun and i will play a lot of it, however it does feel like it is missing something big. It just doesn't have the same heart that went into it that the first two BLs did. Tales from the Borderlands had that spark too. So it's not a bad game, it is just missing something.

    Gearbox has a problem: the fantastic Borderlands 2 is too good to be beaten. But in the case of Borderlands 3, it is still more than a worthy successor. The filmmakers brought many pop-cultural references, maybe pushing too hard on how they want to be “modern”, but otherwise it's a great game again. [Issue#298]

    Borderlands 3 offers a generous experience, with colourful characters, neat gameplay and a charming universe. Its formula, very close to that of the previous episodes does not revolutionize the show but its small new features bring a little freshness and the scenario makes us want to go to the end of the adventure. Its dynamism and nervousness make it a choice piece for adrenaline-ready FPS lovers and license fans.
