Starbites has a great premise and adds fresh layers to the oversaturated turn-based RPG market. Despite a well-written story and remarkable characters, especially the protagonist, numerous technical issues keep the game from reaching the stardom it otherwise could have. The overall experience remains very fun, though.

People of Note has a great story about a world that breathes music, but it lacked a better application of the theme in combat: it's much more challenging for the player and easier for the opponents. It's not difficult, but it loses a lot of dynamism because of this, and ends up feeling more like chess than an RPG. Despite everything, its plot and script are quite fun, as is its soundtrack.

No-Skin is a different and reflective horror game. Although it didn't quite manage to deliver that reflection, perhaps fans more deeply involved in the genre will understand. The idea of being a roguelike could have worked better if it had some kind of more positive reward, but it seems that doing so during the journey goes against the essence of No-Skin.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is a remake that uses the base of the original and brings a brand and drastically different experience. The main story is largely the same, for better and for worse, considering the title clearly had the intention of making bigger changes to it. The gameplay, however, has been vastly improved and it’s the main reason why I prefer Kiwami 3 instead of the original. However, even considering all the changes, Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties doesn’t really reach the same heights as the best games in the series.

Pokémon Legends ZA: Mega Dimension is priced too high for the content it delivers. While it has its redeemable moments, the experience is undermined by excessive grinding, repetitive tasks, and, most frustratingly, a severely time-limited exploration of its core new mechanic, the Mega Dimension. Sludge Life is a first person platform game which takes place in a tiny and dirty open world. It might sound interesting, however the creators decided to focus too much on madness and crazy stuff rather than delivering a solid gameplay. The objectives are repetitive and shallow, consisting in graffiting walls and running around with no deep or meaningful task to be accomplished.

Afterpulse is a good shooter that provides casual fun for many hours, but that's it. The game feels very generic as it doesn't build a narrative and is really lookalike to military games like PUGB without any novelties, making it hard to be attached. Graphics are also not impressive and are very similar to the mobile version, making it look a bit lackluster on Switch.

Ninja Gaiden Master Collection consists of three great action titles in a collection made with the bare minimum of effort. For a historical series like Ninja Gaiden, it is a shame that we haven’t received a product that is worthy of the legacy that these titles have built.

Layers of Fear is a really interesting experience. It has a well-written story and a sound narrative, along with great features and nice visuals. On the other hand, there still are some issues regarding some psychological horror aspects that undermine the overall quality of the game.

Despite some performance problems, it is a great survival with history. His own style and cliché satire is very good, and has a lot of extras to collect. Recommended for those looking for a more calm and frightless survival.

Poison Control is a unique game, and perhaps a good buy for adventurers who like the genre. In general, it is a repetitive game, it does not stand out in any element, remaining only in the average. Gameplay is fun, but it is not enough to entertain for long hours of gaming.

Hellpoint is a satisfying sci-fi twist in the Soulslike universe, it brings an interesting setting and adds a lot of surprisingly positive mechanics to this gender. On the other hand, the Switch version is a bit lackluster as it comes with unimpressive graphics and general performance issues that compromise the experience for most players who are eager for a great Soulslike experience.

The emulation quality is decent and it’s a worthwhile way to get to know a bit more about SNK’s history as well as enjoy a great amount of content from such an experimental time in gaming.

A great 2D Dungeon Crawl with a lot of potential but some improvements and corrections are missing. Especially in online mode.
