    Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate takes the solid foundation of a Beat ‘Em Up and applies 2D Fighter controls to it for a fast, arcade-style action that’s impossible to put down.

    even with the new engine, Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate is a remake that doesn't correct its fatal flaws: easy (to boredom) gameplay and dumb AI. It has some nice ideas, like the RPG system of level up, but because of the flaws mentioned above, these mechanics are completely useless. Still a little fun to play 4 co-op to pass time, though.
