Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit was a good game that allowed us to remember the foundation of the saga classics . But Criterion offers a Burnout style game that works quite well. Now, with a need for new games that provide an experience that fans deserve, appears the remastered edition of this game. And it works well, especially on Xbox One X, with the performance mode and the 60fps that gives a really fast experience. But we can't ignore that this game is ten-year-old game. improved resolution, some new effects and, most importantly, new stages and races, rejuvenates this classic arcade racing experience.

BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites allows us to recall the classic game launched 10 years ago, totally renewed, updating its visual and sound aspect. Offering a more polished gameplay than the original but at the same time maintaining the same level of challenge.

Zeroptian invasion does not seek to reinvent the formula of what was Space invaders, but to pay homage to it. The formula is still addictive and challenging. It squanders nostalgia not only for mechanics, but for visual and music.

EA Sports F1 25 returns with the passion of Formula 1, but more as a routine formality than as an innovative proposition striving to succeed on its own merits. It may represent standard fare in sports games, yet it leaves behind a lingering bitterness over what might have been. The title boasts an efficient graphics engine, delivering optimal performance to showcase some of the most iconic races in the world of motorsport. Additionally, it offers a broad range of modes by blending the traditional Career mode with the unlimited service of F1 World. Overall, EA Sports F1 25 is a decent offering—if somewhat too derivative.

We Happy Few is one of those types of games that are rarely seen in a generation. A title that presents a really interesting and creative proposal, full of symbolism and reflection. But further on, we see how its long development and its difficult period of early access may have conditioned a playable section with attractive ideas of survival that are lost in a non-motivating approach.

Tormented Souls takes us back to classic survival horror. However its playable issues prevent it of becoming an enjoyable and perfect horror experience.

Irony Curtain: From Matryoshka with Love is a tribute to the greatest LucasArts games. It takes us to the Iron Curtain in the shoes of a reporter whose idea of Communism clashes with what is really happening in the imaginary country of Matryoshka.

Civilization VII is a great strategy proposal with new ideas, breaking with the tradition of the saga. It is a game that looks spectacular, although it is not free from technical problems. It aims to be a new kind of challenge but at the cost of betraying a traditional concept that many users expected. And if we take its previous installment as a reference, it can even be seen as a very limited product in terms of options and content.

Felix the Reaper is frankly recommended for almost all types of players. His proposal of musical puzzle game is different from anything we have seen lately and gives off originality and good vibes with each dance step, but at the same time it does not relax and its playability works.

Journey to the Savage Planet is a good survival experience with an interesting narrative component and that lacks in gunplay.

In the Sam and Max game series there are great games that take this pair of good characters on undoubtedly fun adventures. Sam & Max Save the World is an important moment in the series, even if it is not the best game in the series. Its wacky story, its black humor will always amuse you. And if you like point and click games, this one should definitely be a candidate to make it to your library. Its flaws are clear: solving puzzles can be more difficult than it should be because the logic of the game can be an obstacle. Plus an awkward control.

Transference brings us a pure thriller: finding out what has happened to a family, in an alternate version of its psique. To discover the truth we have to solve riddles, listen carefully to the family voices and find out every horrible secret. However, Transference is a game developed to be purely enjoyed in VR. So the experience is not as good as it should have been on Xbox One.

The Surge offers an innovative combat and crafting system but it suffers ups and downs on its difficulty and also has a poor script. Even so the result is a worthy action RPG that will live on as an alternative to the Souls Saga.

Isonzo is a multiplayer game with a solid proposal that has some problems. In relation to its realism, the beauty of its landscapes, the wildness of its confrontations, you have a game that can give you a lot. Although it is a niche game. The main problems that Isonzo WW1 has, besides some technical issues such as the texture overload or the horrible and screeching screams of dying men that sound out of tune, have to do with the design of its offensives. In my opinion, these confrontations can last longer than they should.

Rebellion's gamble with Atomfall represents a new step in their storytelling approach. Those who enjoyed Generation Zero will know what to expect: a game that offers unique elements designed to immerse players in its compelling narrative. However, it seems that storytelling isn't the only area that needed attention and innovation. The experience is slightly weighed down by clunky combat mechanics—although not quite as much as its technical performance.

Apart from its defects, WRC is a highly recommended title for all Rally fans who want to enjoy a more comprehensive official championship thanks to its management options and the amount of content it features.

These aspects may detract interest from some players. Despite this, it is a game worth trying if you are attracted to the genre.

Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream aims to offer a gaming experience faithful to Kirito’s virtual world, although there are still areas for improvement. Despite this, it is a very attractive title with daily and weekly challenges that keep players engaged. With high-quality graphics and sound, it offers a multiplayer experience similar to MMO raids, as well as revisiting the best moments of each character and unlocking secret scenes with your favorites.

Super Space Serpent SE is a really addictive retro style arcade game, in which we take the controls of a small ship and try by all means to survive for a minute to a stage full of enemies.

Frontier offers us a new chapter of their Formula 1 manager game, which has included a highly requested option. We can create our own team, but otherwise, the changes that have been introduced in management, such as morale or sprint weekends, do not remove the feeling of being the same game. In short, we could say that this Souls-like is made for all those who love the genre along with a classic mythology that can attract a large audience.

Tiebreak is not the perfect tennis game, but it is a great opportunity for lovers of this sport that has been so mistreated in recent years in the world of video games. If one of your keys to enjoying a sports game is the licenses, this is yours. The 120 official tennis players and dozens of licensed tournaments (although with the absence of the Grand Slams) provide endless fun, as well as a very well-developed Career mode that will excite you. The title has enough game modes to keep you entertained for years and is only made pale by some problems in its gameplay, which in general is very fun.

Farming Simulator 22 has improved compared to previous releases. From small things like driving, which is still not perfect, to the physics that have to do with weight, terrain, and the type of machinery. There is also, of course, the new game mechanics that enrich the experience making it deeper. Its problems lie in how difficult it can be for a new player to understand what to do in the game, as well as how un-rewarding the game will be with your effort, are things that can discourage players and make them simply stop playing.

Sonic Colors Ultimate is a game that everyone will enjoy, and it is without a doubt the best version of the game since its release. I believe that with this game you will have a full experience tailored to what you want to delve into. However, it's a shame that not all parts of the game have been treated with the same care in this remaster.

Towerfall Ascension’s main appeal is as an amusing game, and that’s the best thing we can say about a videogame. But not even its great gameplay aspect nor its charming retro visual style can avoid that feeling of missing something as essential as an online multiplayer mode.

Guardians of the Galaxy is another ‘made in Telltale’ product. It has a very interesting starting point, its artistic level is good and it captures the personality from Marvel’s heroes. However, we can’t let its technical issues pass.

Warhammer: Chaosbane was a game that doesn’t introduce anything new to the genre. It could be something good for those who appreciates this Diablo Style aPRG with a fixed camera. In this edition, the improvements to the next-gen introduces a gorgeous performance to 60fps, better graphics and resolution. But it doesn’t seems to be a game to take advantage of this hardware. Simple, but effective.

Throne and Liberty presents itself as an ambitious and risky proposal to encompass a classic traditional RPG concept with new, more dynamic mechanics and top-notch visuals. The storyline is full of stereotypes, but it’s enjoyable, providing an adventure that includes a massive tutorial to cover various PvP and PvE game modes. It’s a universe to get lost in, but where modern mechanics, giving rewards too quickly, could carry the user to an end where only finds a monotony experience too soon.

Late Shift blends both videogames and movies worlds as we had never seen before. This thriller will keep us in front of the screen, where we will be able to do and undo at will according to the decisions we make. Due to its multiple storylines and seven endings, replaying it is extremely interesting and amusing. It won’t be this year’s game or movie, but without any doubt, it’s worth giving it a try.

Her Majesty’s SPIFFING is a fresh point & click adventure, where humor and parody are the king and queen. Aboard the Imperialise, Captain English and his lieutenant, Aled Jones, must conquer the galaxy in the name of Her Majesty the Queen. The game gives us an original and funny proposal, though its short length and constant tearing fades it.

Flinthook is a very special game. We are a space bounty hunter who ends up with pirates, assaulting their ships. We will have to go through each room, procedurally created, to find the leaders of the bands. Its gameplay is excellent and will delight the fans of roguelike and Megaman.

The Sun and Moon is a simple and original game that presents us with tough platforms and puzzle levels.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is a fun, entertaining game and a love letter to the entire history of Marvel comics. At the same time it supposes a game of Lego more than competent that suffers from all the weaknesses already classic in the saga. Shallow and ambitious, but very funny and enjoyable if we are fans of Marvel and his humor. A must to play as a couple.

Hot Wheels: Unleashed is a simple yet demanding arcade game. However, its main attraction lies in the incredible care for the toy brand, both for the cars and their tracks, with a really complete editor.

AWE is an expansion for Control and not a new Alan Wake game. What I mean by this? Well, whoever is looking for a continuation or clear answers to the writer's game, will be disappointed. It does deal with his story in a certain way and may leave some interesting facts to keep in mind for the future, but everything revolves around Jesse and his mission. It is almost the most relevant that can be taken out of this expansion, new mechanics with the use of light, and quite fun levels in which to kill Hartman.

Warface Breakout is a CS: GO like experience on Xbox One. It has the potential, after a few tweaks, to become a competitive game with a broader community.

Monster Jam Showdown is a new episode in the Monster Truck sports license. A game that seeks direct fun with a good amount of game modes and trucks, but suffers from being too limited in options. A technical section rightly focused on performance, with nice graphics, but audio design could be improved a lot. Maybe, for the next game, they could fix this lack of option including some customization tools and more scenarios.

Crash Team Rumble is much more fun than we could imagine. A promising start to Crash Bandicoot's multiplayer adventure. We now only want to know how it evolves over the months.

RICO London is a co-op FPS title developed by Ground Shatter in which we take on the role of a cop to fight the gangsters of London. It features rogue-like mechanics and a variety of weapons to make every game different.

Despite its simplicity, Westerado brings us an interesting adventure where we’ll find countless bandits, rustlers or Indians, and where we’ll save damsels in distress. Pure pixel-western.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Re Reckoning has little remastering work, beyond a few simple tweaks to bring it up to today's standards, but its greatest achievement is bringing back a dead IP with great potential. Its narrative structure may not be perfect, it may be too long and too stuffy, but without a doubt, its RPG section helps to overlook it and enjoy a very fun combat system. We will see what THQ Nordic does from now on with this fantastic fantasy universe.

It would be unfair to value this game as what it is not, or what we would have liked it to be. But the final result presents us with a more than remarkable puzzle game, challenging and absorbing. Bridge Constructor Portal takes the mechanics and physics of the work of Valve to enrich its studied formula greatly and remind us that there was a day when the company of Gabe Newell made great games for the memory.

Relicta is a remarkable puzzle game that offers a demanding proposal, as well as a good playability, although sometimes it does not work properly. Its artistic section and its level design are very successful, and they are only tarnished by a small blurring effect.

Dragon Quest is one of my favorite series, and although I enjoyed the Dragon Quest III remake for its details and changes that make the adventure easier to understand, I wouldn’t recommend it to new players. This remake stays so faithful to the original material that it feels like a game lost in time. Despite continuing to play the HD-2D trilogy as a fan, I believe that even Dragon Quest IX for the Nintendo DS surpasses this remake in content and gameplay. Square Enix missed the opportunity to offer a true remake, similar to those of the Final Fantasy franchise.

Martha is Dead is a walking simulator with touches of psychological horror that manages to turn its most controversial section into an element capable of enhancing what it intends to show, although there are times when it unnecessarily overdoes it. Although it has a somewhat clumsy gameplay and a deficient technical section, the story of Giulia is worth living.

One Piece: World Seeker is an open-world video game with a great story and an entertaining combat system. The story created by the very creator of the manga, Eichiro Oda, is absorbing and, combined with the visual aspects of the game, you won't be able to stop playing until you finish it. However, sometimes it is too simple and repetitive, especially the secondary missions of "messenger" and the lack of importance of the activities of the crew of Thousand Sunny.

Beyond Light is a very good content expansion that offers enough hours of gameplay and news to make it worthwhile for all players in the series. The doubt is in itself, from now on, it will be just as recommended for players who try to enter this experience for the first time.

Empire of Sin is a most unusual game. If I wanted to summarize in its premise it would be to say that it is a turn-based strategy game but it is also a management game. All with the theme of Gangsters from the 1920s in Chicago. It would be like a kind of XCOM with elements of Civilization. As an idea, Empire of Sin is a unique game. But in its realization, some of the promises it makes remain half fulfilled.

Metrico+ is like a math lesson on a Monday morning. Not because it is boring, but because of its ability to withdraw our minds to another reality where numbers are only a backdrop and our consciousness fights to find an exit. Unlike that lesson, thanks to the good sensations its puzzles, numbers and colors leaves us Metrico+ catches us finally.

The Star Named EOS is a good puzzle game with point-and-click elements. It also delivers an emotional story.

After its success with MotoGP 20, many have a lot of expectations about the new game of this championship. MotoGP 21 receives most of the game modes and options of the last game, but the physics makes this game much better and realistic. The racing experience feels renewed, and it could be the most important aspect of this game. We could say this because the graphics don't improve as much as could be expected for next-gen hardware. We can see some work in textures or global illumination, but most things are the same. It could be enough, thanks to the racing experience, but not for a stand-alone next-gen version. Maybe for MotoGP 22 if Milestone wants to work.

Mix the best of two great teams and it's fun, so much fun. The action is still thrilling, and the gunplay smooth. It is probably the game with the best atmosphere and stage design of the franchise thanks to the collaboration of Arkane Studios. But it fails to offer an attractive multiplayer proposal with lasting progress.

MotoGP 24 arrives as a new step from a constant evolution of a license that could need a revolution. A new experience that feels familiar, that adopted a new rules to apply and it has been adjusted to improve the racing experience for each player. A good career mode, thanks to the adaptive AI, could be enough to enjoy it as always. But, we cannot deny, that maybe it has been another lost chance to be a new generation racing game.

Worldslayer takes all the good things from Outriders and tweaks and improves them. If you like frenetic action, brutal confrontation, being a destruction machine, then this is the time to go for Outriders. I think the main flaws of this game are its flat story and maybe the new ascension skill tree that gets boring because it has so little short term impact. And among the best is the new endgame content: the test of Tarya Gratar.

Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed is a game in which you get to have fun and have a good time. If you want to destroy, take out people's brains, use crazy weapons to finish off your enemies, this game is what you are looking for. As a remake, Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed manages to technically update the original game, although I think it could have been renewed more in essence, taking more risks. Of course, those who are looking for the improved version of the classic, here you will have what you are looking for. It's a game that appeals only to fun and doesn't have much depth. But that's exactly why it works for those who like this kind of games.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Siege of Paris is a good DLC that keeps expanding Eivor's story. The infiltration missions return to make it clear that they should be a must for the future of the series.

In Rollerdrome we find the perfect combination of high-octane combat and fluid action to give way to an action experience like no other. The developer Roll7 offers a very fun extreme sport title on roller skates which has managed to exceed all expectations.

If you are drawn to the ocean and what it is (hidden?) beneath it, or to the most contemplative journeys, Abzû will grab you without escape during the two or three hours it takes to complete. Even it is not replayable, due to its magical beauty, you will take a second ride soon or later. It is a remarkable experience, even if it is only for the incredible good looks its journey offers. If you are seeking some action, do not plunge into these waters.

Peril on Gorgon is a good addition to the original adventure of The Outer Worlds, it could be one of the best subplots in the game, but it is not the additional content we expected. It falls short in duration and originality, and barely offers playable news. In case there are new expansions, we hope they will follow the lead of the classic Fallout New Vegas and each one improves on the previous one.

Warmastered Edition keeps the essence seen in the original game a few years ago. As a whole, it’s a surprising game, which works especially well comprehending in a neat way the affluence of its genre classics, taking it back in a work that it’s already a classic. Without any doubt, it is worth discovering War’s adventure, or coming back if you've already played it.

Releasing eFootball PES 2021 Season Update is a good idea. But there ain't any reasons to justify its purchase. At least, it is worth it if you are a fervent follower of the saga and play online.

Tennis in the Face is an entertaining and funny idea developed by 10tons Ltd. Its mechanics aren’t crafted enough, but it’s easily enjoyable anyway. Maybe the worst aspect is the lack of a Spanish translation so we can get the most out of it. Even so, the effort and work done by 10tons Ltd. is remarkable. We hope that, as they wish at their website, they keep providing the industry with fun.

A nice DLC for lovers of escape rooms, providing originality and freshness, as well as polishing the mechanics presented by the base game.

Pile Up! Box by Box is a game that offers what it promises, family fun without much difficulty. It shines in its design and art, although in gameplay it is a game that does not stand out but does not disappoint as long as you do not ask for more than what it can give you: platforms, simple puzzles and a well-designed cooperative mode.

Blackwood Crossing brings us a memorable and moving experience. Its script, characters and themes will catch us from the very beginning. The game has serious issues on both gameplay and technical aspects, but the quality of its story tips the scales in its favor.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is a great first attempt of Gearbox Software on making spin-offs about the Borderlands franchise. With marvellous gameplay, an excellent cast of characters and an original fantasy world, it's many flaws makes the experience less original.

Scars Above is a good special adventure game. The title is influenced by great science fiction movies, being able to create a world capable of catching us from the first moment. However, some performance problems and a gameplay system that needed a little more polish prevent us from being one of the surprises of the year.

Suicide Squad: Killing the Justice League is a really fun game, whose biggest problem lies precisely in its Games as a service approach. The gameplay is well polished, the story is entertaining and humor is everywhere. However, it cries out to be a single-player adventure.

Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn is a recommended expansion for those who wish to further explore the world of Rena and Dahna and discover the new secrets presented in this DLC.

We’ve enjoyed playing this game for hours. It takes the formula from the original game and does something that feels fresh, improving mechanics that were once a bit tedious and adding new ones. Turning the game into a roguelike was a great decision, it makes each playthrough feel unique, as you get different items and the characters have varied personalities and relationships with one another. It’s a worthy sequel to the original Darkest Dungeon, though it’s somewhat marred by the first few hours of gameplay.

Evil Dead: The Game is a great asymmetrical game. It's fun in both roles and has a lot of content, but it still has several issues to fix.

Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition is a great opportunity for those who never played de original game or those fans who want to experience the definitive version. The game has its limitations due to the twenty years of antiquity.

Biomutant is an entertaining game that has a wide and alive world to explore, being the most attractive part of it. Wait, its undeniable flaws end up burying that magic that we feel when we advance in the story.

Valfaris is a unique title and if it catches you, it will surely leave you with a very good taste thanks to its graphic design, playability and soundtrack... too bad for its technical section.

Dynasty Warriors 9 has launched with a fully renewed proposal. This game is something fresh, but the change may be too significant for those looking for an old school hack'n slash game. On the technical side the game could've been much better, but it offers a gorgeous map to explore. Dynasty Warriors 9 delivers in offering many hours of play, thanks to its campaign which is full of action and a variety of situations.

Cars 3: Driven to Win offers us six game modes with 21 vehicles to choose from. Fails technically but excels in fun.

Flat Kingdom is a 2.5D platform and puzzle game. In this game you'll be able to change into 3 different shapes: triangle, circle and square. With these forms you'll have different abilities and ways of solving puzzles and battling your enemies. It's fun to experiment and see what works best on what.

Chernobylite isn't a perfect game. Its story might not be everybody's cup of tea and can result a bit chaotic. Its gameplay relies heavily in if you enjoy exploring repeatedly its maps, surviving and gathering resources. If that's the case, there's no doubt that this title can offer you an original gameplay loop, with the posibility of hooking you through hours and hours. It is more worrisome, however, the numerous crashes that we have experienced in Xbox Series X, and which we sadly had to have in mind when deciding this title's final score.

Green Hell is a good survival game that challenges our mind, in which we will have to make use of our intuition to survive in an accessible Amazon to all types of players, with solid playability, correct graphics and some than other visual and performance failure that does not affect the complete set.

TopSpin 2K25 is great news for tennis lovers. It is a game that is tremendously satisfying at the controls, but whose experience is somewhat diluted by the short variety of game modes and an outdated graphics. However, if you are looking to enjoy good tennis matches, it is the best option on the market.

Stray Gods is, without a doubt, the most original game of the year. It combines visual novel elements with music theatre, choices and romance. Unfortunately, the experience suffers from catastrophic technical issues.
