Although somewhat unusual in its theming, the level of detail and extensive research that has gone into the making of Felix the Reaper is vast and perhaps this is why it stands out so significantly. If anyone was wondering how to incorporate the artistic portrayal of Death in a mentally stimulating puzzle game with humorous and light hearted theming, they certainly need look no further than Felix the Reaper.

Felix the Reaper on Xbox One is a very unique and original game. It has bundles of charm and a great central premise that involves a warm central character who has more dance moves than a young John Travolta. The puzzle side of things does get a trifle hard later on, but it’s a great brain teaser that utilises a range of different perspectives and object management.

Felix the Reaper is frankly recommended for almost all types of players. His proposal of musical puzzle game is different from anything we have seen lately and gives off originality and good vibes with each dance step, but at the same time it does not relax and its playability works.

A quirky love story of life, death and bureaucracy, Felix the Reaper is as effortlessly charming as it is relentlessly challenging in the puzzle department.

Casual gamers beware: unless you’re a weathered pro at puzzle games, you’re likely to find Felix the Reaper to be tough-as-nails.

Felix the Reaper is a textbook example of style over substance. The presentation, especially of the central character, is immaculate and easily the most enjoyable part of the experience. The game itself isn’t bad, but it lacks anything that left me itching to play more. The gameplay is fine but solutions can be a bit obtuse, while the additional challenges are too hardcore to be fun. I could watch Felix dance all day, but those moves won’t charm anyone who’s not ready to take on his deadly dance floor.

A wretched, annoying puzzle game that consists primarily of tedious busywork. While Felix the Reaper has bags of personality, a vein of dark humour, and the inimitable voice of Sir Patrick Stewart, it regrettably isn't nearly as fun as it looks. As far as I'm concerned, Felix can go dance off the edge of a cliff.

This is a tragically funny story about the Life of Death. You play as Felix, a Reaper for the Ministry of Death, who has fallen in love with Betty, a member of the Ministry of Life. Felix became a Field Reaper, in hopes of meeting Betty in the Mortal World face to face, and in hopes of impressing Betty, Felix has taught himself to dance, which he does now, endlessly. As a Field Reaper, your job is to make sure everything, and everyone, is in the right place so the tragic event that takes their life, will occur on schedule. To do this, you must navigate around small areas of the mortal realm, the catch is Reapers cannot step into the daylight, so they must stay in the shadows. to do this, you have a sundial, that allows you to turn the position of the sun, therefore changing the position of shadows. Using the environment to further manipulate the darkness, you find your way around to finishing the lifespan of your target. Contracts have other obligations to carry them out perfectly, including how many spaces you moved or turn the sun, to how fast you accomplish the task. Felix the Reaper is an incredibly though out game that will keep you smiling, and keep even the sharpest of minds guessing. Some puzzles will appear to have no solution, but keep pressing they can be beaten! Expand
