Whether you’re planning to dive into career mode or want to wade through history in the Djokovic Slam Challenge, hours of tennis gameplay are bolstered by crisp graphics and a deep roster. There’s just no denying that Tiebreak is the best tennis game available today.

Tiebreak is not the perfect tennis game, but it is a great opportunity for lovers of this sport that has been so mistreated in recent years in the world of video games. If one of your keys to enjoying a sports game is the licenses, this is yours. The 120 official tennis players and dozens of licensed tournaments (although with the absence of the Grand Slams) provide endless fun, as well as a very well-developed Career mode that will excite you. The title has enough game modes to keep you entertained for years and is only made pale by some problems in its gameplay, which in general is very fun.

Even though the gameplay of Tiebreak feels predictable after a while, any fan of the sport should find a great time taking to this court, relishing what is on offer. There are plenty of modes to enjoy and the career is fine to play, even if some of the venues feel a bit flat.

There’s a lot to get your teeth sunk into in Tiebreak, but with matches on medium difficulty lasting over an hour, this certainly won’t be a pickup and play game, and with the mentioned issues with gameplay, Tiebreak won’t be something I return to on a regular basis.

Refereeing this TIEBREAK is no a walk in the park! On the one hand, the game is a real winning blow thanks to its impressive cast of players, both current and recently retired. On top of that, you get to play on some of the most prestigious courts on the circuit. However, the return of serve is quite brutal when you consider the absence of Grand Slam tournaments. The gameplay's minor imperfections are not far off a double fault. Lots of highs and lows, like the incessant bouncing of the little yellow ball... To wrap things up on a drop shot, let us just say that the title has real potential, but as it stands, it may disappoint the most demanding players!
