Eriksholm is everything you'd expect from a modern stealth game. It combines a revamped isometric perspective with different characters with their own abilities. The story may not be its best part, but its gameplay sections are pure fun and a showcase of creativity.

Elden Ring: Nightreign aims to be one of the best games of the year and one of the greatest multiplayer approaches of the franchise (especially for those players that enjoy co-op the most). Even though this videogame is not directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, we believe it is at the same level of craftsmanship to delight all fans.

EA Sports F1 25 returns with the passion of Formula 1, but more as a routine formality than as an innovative proposition striving to succeed on its own merits. It may represent standard fare in sports games, yet it leaves behind a lingering bitterness over what might have been. The title boasts an efficient graphics engine, delivering optimal performance to showcase some of the most iconic races in the world of motorsport. Additionally, it offers a broad range of modes by blending the traditional Career mode with the unlimited service of F1 World. Overall, EA Sports F1 25 is a decent offering—if somewhat too derivative.

More than two decades later, Capcom has decided to give Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny a second chance. It's inevitable to see that, as a remaster, it leaves something to be desired, but setting aside the fact that it could have taken a more ambitious path, it remains a great video game— incredibly fun and with high replay value.

Blades of Fire comes from the hand of Mercury Steam as a curious breath of fresh air to action games. Its gameplay system, although it has elements that could be improved, shines with its own personality, which also fits perfectly with a fantastic design. It's not the best game of its genre, but it doesn't pretend to be, and it offers a series of ideas that work really well.

Roadcraft is a game that casts the long shadow of Snowrunner behind it. However, it’s not an evolution or a sequel—it's a title determined to forge its own path. It introduces new opportunities through a resource management concept tailored for activities more reminiscent of Constructor Simulator in rural settings. In doing so, it offers an appealing proposition for a segment of players looking to experience a unique fusion of the best elements from both worlds.

DOOM: The Dark Ages reinvents the franchise with a brutal medieval prequel that retains its frenetic core while introducing fresh elements like the Saw Shield (featuring parry mechanics) and epic battles atop dragons or inside towering Titans. Though resolution on Xbox Series S is a weak point, the game shines with a sprawling campaign, secret-packed levels, a pulse-pounding OST, and exquisitely choreographed violence. A must-play for fans and a new benchmark for modern shooters, proving once again that DOOM is eternal.

Oblivion Remastered modernizes the 2006 classic with Unreal Engine 5 graphics (RTX/DLSS), updated interfaces, and tweaks to combat and progression—yet preserves its core essence, retaining original dialogue, glitches, and gameplay systems. Faithful to the classic experience, it shines visually with meticulously redrawn environments and 4K textures, making it ideal for both newcomers and nostalgic fans eager to relive an RPG adventure just as they remember it.

The First Berserker: Khazan proves that Neople Studios has perfectly grasped the essence of the Soulslike genre, delivering an experience that honors FromSoftware’s legacy while introducing fresh, dynamic mechanics. With deep, customizable combat, an immersive narrative, and flawless technical execution, the game stands out in a market oversaturated with imitations. Its balance between challenge and accessibility—paired with its dark anime aesthetic and memorable soundtrack—makes it a must-play for genre fans. While it’s too early to discuss awards, The First Berserker: Khazan is shaping up to be one of the year’s most solid and thrilling action titles.

South of Midnight is that game that we all need to play at a certain time. Not because it is an indispensable masterpiece in the catalog of all players. But because it offers a fun proposal, limited and full of pampering that serves to “detoxify” us from that bad habit that the industry has taken of offering us everything bigger and bigger.

Mars Survivor incorporates typical mobile gaming elements into consoles and PC, delivering an accessible simulator focused on "Idle" systems. Rebellion's gamble with Atomfall represents a new step in their storytelling approach. Those who enjoyed Generation Zero will know what to expect: a game that offers unique elements designed to immerse players in its compelling narrative. However, it seems that storytelling isn't the only area that needed attention and innovation. The experience is slightly weighed down by clunky combat mechanics—although not quite as much as its technical performance.

Split Fiction is a must-play for anyone who enjoyed It Takes Two. It takes the same formula as It Takes Two and pushes it even further, with much more detailed levels, a greater variety of mechanics between stages, and a story that will leave no one indifferent. Without a doubt, Split Fiction is going to be a strong contender for the GOTY awards this year, and for good reason, there hasn’t been another game that blends so many elements together and achieves what this title does.

Monster Hunter Wilds maintains its core essence of hunting and forging, but it seems directed at a new audience, softening the difficulty and removing challenges like the Elder Dragons. While enjoyable, it may seem less challenging to veterans, with much of the exciting content postponed for a future expansion. The innovations shine in the game, but the lack of difficulty may demotivate experienced players from utilizing the variety of tools at their disposal, leaving a bittersweet taste as we await updates that will motivate continued hunting.

Giving an opinion on this game is complicated, probably the most difficult for me because Afterlove EP is not a conventional title. Rather, it’s more of a visual novel with small gameplay elements, such as a minigame or a world map. However, Afterlove EP is a game that won’t leave anyone indifferent you’ll either love it or hate it.

Eternal Strands is a visually great game with solid technical performance, delivering a smooth and immersive experience. However, its biggest drawback at launch is the lack of Spanish language support—an essential feature. The combat system is well-designed, with an engaging elemental mechanic that adds depth to encounters. The story is well-told, though there are moments where the pacing slows down or feels somewhat empty—though these instances are few compared to the overall narrative. Eternal Strands takes inspiration from various genres, blending their best aspects to create a unique adventure. It had the potential to be something truly exceptional, but in the end, it left me feeling like something was missing.

I’ve had the pleasure of playing Tails of Iron 2 on my Xbox, and the experience has been incredible. Although I haven’t tried the first game, I can say with complete certainty that after this experience, I will definitely play the first as soon as I finish this sequel. This game is a 2D soulslike where you play as Arlo, a little rat with a lot of problems. The action is fast-paced from the very beginning, and it won’t be long before you face an enemy that truly tests your skills.
