Despite the shortcomings in Nefarious' platforming and combat, there's a great likeability to its tone and writing. The controls aren't particularly precise and you'll need some character upgrades just to tolerate some of the harder challenges. If you have the patience, there's an interesting experience with plenty of charm here.- PlayStation Country

Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition is an expertly crafted CRPG that has survived the port to console nigh on perfectly. Ninjin: Clash of Carrots is a superb looking game that has an initially fun gameplay loop with the mixture of bullet hell mechanics and scrolling beat-em-ups. Unfortunately, the cracks appear when you hit the midway point and realise that there are no more tricks left and all that is left is repetition and unspent potential.- PlayStation Country

V-Rally 4's biggest problem is a lack of identity. You're given plenty of disciplines to try but a narrow set of locales wear thin quickly. Whilst these areas do look nice and there's a decent array of vehicles, their handling feels suspiciously off. It all combines to be a frustrating effort. You'll get some enjoyment tackling human opponents but I'm not sure how long it'll last.- PlayStation Country

The annual turnaround can't allow for a radical overhaul but the new licenses help give you a variety of new sides to play with. There's some welcome tweaks with MyClub and Master League for those in for the long haul. The on-pitch action remains competitive and tactical but the old baggage remains. Presentation remains a little stagnant and the editing suite will immediately be put to use to correct out of date squads. Still, it plays a compelling, compulsive game.- PlayStation Country

Narcosis has a tale worth telling but it's all too brief. Failure can stifle your momentum through the detailed, claustrophobic depths. It's a game steeped in atmosphere but combat feels clumsy and the moments of actual horror feel far too fleeting.- PlayStation Country

F1 2018 remains a competitive racer. The improvements to career mode might not hit all the marks but they do make for a more involved experience. Death's Gambit is enjoyable with some valuable tweaks to combat to supplement some otherwise disappointing melee strikes. Train Sim World is relaxed effort that, despite the visual inadequacies and technical issues, proves enjoyable for fans and newcomers. There's a fairly robust package with a decent variety of trains and scenarios. Above all, anyone curious about rail simulators would get what they need out of this. The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 is more of the same. The original was already pretty repetitive so to do the same thing over with less interesting characters, randomised dungeons and less gameplay distractions is a big ask. There may be something here for major fans of the first title but if you're looking for improvements then you'll be massively disappointed.- PlayStation Country

Minit is a short game with a great hook. The sixty second lifespan mechanic is surprisingly fun to get to grips with and the game world oozes charm from the moment it begins. If you are looking for a new hidden gem, then this is the one.- PlayStation Country

Rainbow are back in the saddle and there's signs they are a little out of practice. There's nostalgic decisions at play which don't always work out in 2018 but can still raise a smile. Modes are what you'd expect and the visuals look occasionally impressive but the game struggles to keep things steady on the Playstation 4. The novelty of cross-vehicle madness still has hooks and races provide fantastical, open racing. Unfortunately, you'll have to overlook the ever-present performance issues.- PlayStation Country

Attack on Titan 2 maintains the pacing problems with a plot retreading the narrative of the original. Persist with this and you see game with a compelling progression and reward system. Combat and movement is satisfying even if it is let down a little by the mission structure. It builds on its predecessor gradually but there's a lot here to entice fans and newcomers.- PlayStation Country

Enigmatis 3: The Shadow of Karkhala is another solid entry in the hidden object genre. Once again it offers enjoyable puzzling with an engaging story and gorgeous highly detailed 2D scenes. This wraps the Enigmatis series up in a satisfying conclusion and remains accessible to new players. Whilst not without some flaws, this is easy to recommend to anyone looking for a casual few hours of puzzling.- PlayStation Country

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom offers a traditional JRPG experience with great visuals and a variety of gameplay elements. It's not executed perfectly, but the charm will keep you battling monsters and obsessing about your kingdom until you reach the conclusion and beyond.- PlayStation Country
