Marrying physics into a boxing game is a stroke of genius. Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee! [July 2009]

Party like it's 1999 – and not in a good way! Who cares about the controls if the content is a total wash. The little life Conduit has come’s from the decent multiplayer. [July 2009]

This licensed game indeed has its flaws. The controls are complicated, the open environment doesn’t work and the camera is absolutely horrific. But still the game captures the certain Transformers feel, which is much more important than hiccups in technology. [Aug 2009]

If the humour fits, Overlord II is even better. As a game, it has gotten better but still suffers from repetition. [Aug 2009]

Fallout 3: Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta are Fallout 3's last two expansions and surprisingly from the opposite ends of the quality spectrum. Point Lookout is an enjoyable, well-made and immersive swamp adventure, whereas Mothership Zeta is boring as hell and plays like a crappy FPS. [Aug 2009]

A quite good retro-themed and fast-paced gravity shoot ’em up. It doesn't take itself too seriously. Too bad there aren’t any multiplayer opponents around anymore. [Aug 2009]

Nice addon for a really great game. Add decent diplomacy (with chrome for immersion. Superpowers do not negotiate with SMS-messsages) and Master of Orion is finally beaten.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game looks, sounds and feels like Ghostbusters. And that's pretty much enough. Excellent entertainment for casual gamers. [June 2009]

Updates some of the old songs from the series to band play, but the set list leaves lot to be desired. Sure, there are lots of hits in there, but also lots of misses that should’ve been left buried in time. Original versions of the songs instead of covers are nice addition, however. [June 2009]

GTA on steroids. Huge city, very brutal combat, cool super powers and an interesting plot ensures that Prototype is one of this summer's hit games. There's a lot of gore, so this game has 18+ written all over it. [July 2009]

A quite good tennis game. The MotionPlus-support makes all the difference. Without it the game feels clumsy ja awkward. What's with the constant and annoying MotionPlus-activation, though? [July 2009]

Rock Band Unplugged proves that music games can work surprisingly well on handheld consoles, too. The Amplitude-like gameplay works great and the song selection is good. A game worthy of the Rock Band name.

The Sims 3 delivers most of its promises. Modeling an entire small town works extremely well, and even though many features from previous installments will be available only in later add-ons, there's still a ridiculous amount of stuff to do. Technically it's pretty awesome as well. [June 2009]

Good show yet again, Mr Holmes. The master detectives latest adventure pits him and doctor Watson against the nefarious killer Jack the Ripper in a dark and dangerous adventure of creative and interesting puzzles based on detective work. Might be a bit too easy for veterans of the genre though. [Feb 2010]

Terminator Salvation has an interesting setting, but boils it down to a little bit too simple rail shooter. The saving grace of the game is co-op multiplayer, which is good fun compared to somewhat dull single player experience. [June 2009]

With Plants vs Zombies, Popcap cements its place as masters of polished, casual gaming that still hits its mark even with grizzled gaming vet. Even though the first playthrough of Plants vs Zombies is far too easy, second one combined with the survival mode and the multitude of minigames offers a lot of replayability. The biggest star though is in the graphic design, all the plants and zombies in the game are drawn and designed with funny wit and style. One can't help but love those little flowers fighting it out.
