What could've been a good sequel to a great RPG is shot down by several shortcomings including (but not limited to) out-of-date graphics, numerous flaws in the storytelling department and a dull and lifeless world. While Dawn works as a nostalgia trip for Symphonia fans, it just doesn't have much to offer to other players. [Jan 2010]

If you have beer and if you have friends, this game is good fun for the weekend. For those who are flying solo, wrestling might get boring pretty fast. The computer isn't that tough for an opponent and the controls are a bit sloppy. [Mar 2009]

Fun, but not super fun. The second episode is an improvement, but the delightfully unconventional story still needs to be fleshed out better. The low production values show. [May 2009]

Nerf N-Strike has a great idea, but playing is not so fun. The biggest problem is lack of zombies. Best part of the whole package is the gun itself.

A fun and especially challenging action game, although the formula invented over ten years ago in Symphony of the Night is getting a bit stale.

The kings of the silly and witty make their way to the consoles. Sam&Max is still one of the funniest games on the shelves. The Wii version suffers a little inaccuracy of the mote control but fortunately it doesn't spoil the fun. If you crave for an adventure and haven't tried this out, now is the time. [Feb 2009]

A B-movie version of current music games. The setlist is mediocre and all of the performances are covers. The gameplay itself is too punishing on the timing and the way notes scroll directly from top to bottom of the screen is just hard to follow. [June 2009]

Probably the best PC-version in the series so far. The game looks great and new animations add freshness to the gameplay. Mouse and keyboard control is a nice addition, although it is a bit clumsy in action. There are also some problems with joypad and keyboard controls. [Sept 2008]

A mediocre take on survival horror genre, and sadly not very impressive debut for the series on new console generation. We've seen these puzzles and these fighting mechanics already in dozen different games of the same genre. The hellish visions of Otherworld evoke good horror feelings, but they're soon dragged to ground by far too frequent fights which become more or less routine after few first encounters. [Mar 2009]

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed takes the use of the force to a new level. Sometimes all the overpowering abilities can make the game feel a bit too easy, but luckily the balance is usually well preserved. It would've been fun to see a bit more lightsaber action, but Force Unleashed is still entertainingly fast and furious ride where you finally get to do something real with force. Throwing stormtroopers to chasms with force grip just never gets old. [Sept 2008]

A Medieval action RPG with a great battle system, and there are many ways you can play the game. The game doesn't have a storyline, which is why it becomes a bit boring and pointless after a while, but it does have many good mods and they will keep the game fresh. [Sept 2008]

More or less the same game as its predecessor. Atmosphere is still amazing and zone is a fascinating place to adventure in, but there is far too much travelling back and forth and there still isn't any real story to talk of. Great game for people who want to immerse themselves in the surrounding world, less so for competitive pc shooter fans. [Sept 2008]

Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise combines gardening to piñata collecting quite pleasantly. At first there seems to be almost too much to accomplish, but all too soon game play becomes repetitive. Pokémon makes better creature collecting challenge and Harvest Moon better farming experience, but Viva Piñata is nevertheless a fun experience for us who like serene gaming for a change. [Jan 2009]

Puzzle pictures are interesting to some extent, but for a full scale game they are just not enough. I'd also rather wonder where Wally is than search for Millionaire's lost socks with a flashlight. [Feb 2009]

Race 07 was just a season update for Race, and GTR Evolution continues to same direction. It adds the game some cars and legendary Nordscleife track, but basicly that's all. Everything is quite nice but nothing rises above the minimum level of hardcore racing simulators. Graphics engine looks like 5 years old. Production cars, that should shine brightly, look like plastic cars with plastic shine. In race cars that effect didn't bother, but with production cars graphics engine show its lack of ability to draw realistic lighting effects. Race 07 with GTR Evolution is very good game, but nothing else. Hopefully Simbin starts to do something completely different after these season updates, which have been continuing for too long now. And I hope I don't ever have to copy my review from one year old game anymore. [Sept 2008]

Needs rethinking of basics. To begin with, US vs Syria is just not interesting. Secondly, gamewise it is only highly irritating when game needs heavy micromanaging, but while you do that, other troops just die silently and if you blink, you might miss the tank that killed them. How about some user friendliness? [Jan 2009]

Mercenaries 2: World in Flames is as perfect as sequels come. It takes everything that was good with the original title and polishes it to a mirror sheen perfection. Nevermind a few enemy AI annoyances, World in Flames is undoubtedly one of greatest modern sandbox-shooters. [Sept 2008]
