Flatout Ultimate Carnage shows how to do the best possible gaming entertainment. PC-version is a straight conversion from Xbox 360, so everything looks the same and feels the same. Although, Bugbear should have made the real PC-like menus and better steering wheel support for PC. Even so, UC is filled with pure gasoline and testosteroine and is absolutely fun to play. The soul still burns! Yes, it's very familiar and the changes that were made like the critical finnish aren't 100% successful, but the game still puts up a great fight both for novice and advanced players. Battlefield Bad Company’s solo campaign has great characters and blowing stuff up is fun, even if it all does look quite fake. Still the action lacks the final kick for greatness, now it's merely good fun. Multiplayer is the true heart of the game and makes good use of the destructible environments. Top Spin 3 is much more realistic than the previous games of the series, mostly because of the new control mechanics. It takes more than just slapping the ball around to beat the versatile AI. Guitar Hero: On Tour tries its best to convert an uncovertible game. The music is good and the rhythm-based playing is fun enough, but the fails at creating the illusion of rocking out. [Sept 2008]

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots has over 8 hours of cutscenes. Sure, there's a good game in-between, but there are also limits to how much B-grade dialogue and contrived storyline exposition one can take in one sitting. Heavy edits to the cutscenes would've made the game so much better! [Aug 2008]

Recreates the happy and easy-going gameplay familiar from Lego Star Wars. As fun and humorous as it is, it does not provide challenge for a seasoned gamer. [June 2008]

A nice Dracula themed point'n click adventure, which comes with decent voice acting and beautiful graphics. Unfortunately the game doesn't exploit the potential of the characters of Van Helsing and Count Dracula. Half of the story is wasted in weird Egypt episode. Luckily the story gets back on the track in the last third of the game. All in all, the inventive puzzles raise the game over the mediocrity and make it worth playing. Respectably faithful to the Penny Arcade style. The battle system is fun, but otherwise the lack of meaningful content brings the game down; a story-based game should have a story that grabs you and won't let go. [Sept 2008]
