LocoRoco 2 is basicly the same game than LocoRoco 1. That is by no means a negative fact as gameplay is exceptionally clever and fun and makes you fall in love with guiding the cute little LocoRocos to the goal. A platform game with a bit of puzzle and action in between has rarely been this much fun and never as heartwarming as now. [Jan 2009]

While every game in the collection is not exactly game history master piece, there is a lot of great stuff to play with. Add as much nostalgia bonus to the score as you want. [Aug 2009]

A new light-gun shooter that's actually fun. The intensive and graphic splatterhouse action, the excessive violence and cussing – it's almost all good. Too bad the game becomes all too easy when you get the bigger guns. Still – way to go! [Mar 2009]

A reasonably amusing splatterfest. Just bash the buttons and that's pretty much it, though. [Apr 2009]

A dark, atmospheric and reasonably original puzzle adventure. There's not much variation, though. [Jan 2010]

A very good and over-the-top arcade sandbox racer. Too bad it couldn't be like this when it was first released. [Mar 2009]

Point'n click adventure that relies heavily on its intriguing storyline, likable main characters and nice puzzle design. Unfortunately it has a big shortcoming. The seemingly never-ending dialogue turns the player into a reader. In other words the game is unbalanced: one spends more time watching than actually playing. It’s a pity, really. [Aug 2009]

Afro Samurai plays it too cool. The game looks and sounds great, but everything is far, far too easy. Gameplay is just a one-button-smash and it’s practically impossible to actually die. It’s a shame, since the weird feudal Japan meets cyberpunk world is and interestingly funky place. [Apr 2009]

A linear and slightly boring shoot'em up, which does not tap into the main game's strengths. Why the heck did we get a small scale conflict as the climax, when there was this whole end of the world stuff readily available as a dramatic finale? [Mar 2009]

The Lord of the Rings: Conquest has some good movielike moments but overall suffers from a boring and difficult single player mode and lousy controls on the PC. The multiplayer is decent enough if you're into epic but rather simple fantasy action. [Feb 2009]

Technically neat and almost delivers the feeling of being part of a massive battle. The lack of strategy unfortunately turns the game into a mediocre hack and slash. [Mar 2009]

Mirror’s Edge works like a charm with keyboard and mouse, too. Parkour above a shining beautiful city is a nice change of pace after normal shooters. Hopefully we get to see more games like this in the future. [Jan 2009]

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 finally makes its wonderful EU debut after a long wait. Atlus manages to combine ordinary high school setting with the weird and enthralling shadow world, this time behind TV screen in mysterious world the heroes explore. Working on your social links is oddly addicting, and combat system with plethora of Personas to choose from and create is well made and polished. While the story overall might pale a bit compared to Persona 3, in almost every other way Persona 4 is better. [May 2009]

Prince of Persia looks simply amazing and plays almost as good. Prince’s compation Elika gets sometimes annoyingly in the way of free jumping and the combat relies too much on heavy God of War style button smashing. Otherwise it’s great fun. [Jan 2009]

Chrono Trigger is a timeless classic. The game's first European release was long overdue but it isn't too late even after 14 years. Of course the game can't deliver the same impact as it did back in the day but there's still a lot to love. [Mar 2009]

Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir tries to hark back to the good old days of 80’s computer rpgs, but falls short in every aspect. The lack of story makes everything feel bland and the free-roaming world map is filled with annoying amounts of random encounters. [Jan 2009]

Recreates the black pits of Moria faithfully and is arguably the prettiest rendition of an underground environment ever seen in a video game. A highly recommended expansion for one of the best MMORPG's on the market. [Jan 2009]

Adds a great bunch of new songs to the On Tour experience. The game works as well as possible on a DS, but the mobile platform just cannot fake the feeling of playing a guitar. [Jan 2009]
