Looks and sounds great and the free-form gameplay with the nanosuit never gets old. Unfortunately the choices player can make lessen more and more towards the end of the game, where you are just forced to shoot things out. The end of the game is simply stupid, everything stops just when the final chapter is supposed to start. It feels like the developers ran out of time and had to ship the game before the levels could be finalized. [Dec 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Puts player in a rather awkward role. You essentially play a person who hasn’t made a single good decision in his life. When none of your actions hold any kind of moral high-ground the whole experience starts to feel like a total downer. While the story certainly has an impact, the actual gameplay does not. Shooting behind the cover has been done much better. The real let-down is the last third of the game which is simply not fun to play. [Dec 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

About as atmospheric game as they come. The cities of the Holy Land are rendered so beautifully that simply exploring your surroundings feels exciting. It's a pity that there's really not much else to do than rush to your next assassination target. Fortunately, the core gameplay of climbing up walls and slicing up guards never gets boring. This year’s WWE’s wrestling game doesn’t bring any big changes to the gameplay but offers a deeper career mode with injuries, exercises and all kind of events. Now it’s also possible to play as a manager. The game is too repetitive in career mode, but very enjoyable when played with friends. A light gun shooter that is more fan service than catering to a wider audience. The game is decent but it’s also hard - sometimes very hard - and manages to frustrate at times. It’s also bland looking and ugly. For Resident Evil fans only. [Jan 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

The newest Sim City differs quite a lot from its predecessors. It concentrates more on the social atmosphere than being a realistic city simulator. Social energies is a fresh idea which works nicely although they’ve simplified the administrative side of the game maybe a little too much. SC: Societies is a nice way to waste time, but you’ll get bored with it at some point because the game starts to repeat itself. [Nov 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Suffers from the maddenigly generic fantasy setting and the redundancy of some features, but comes through with addictive dungeon scavenging and suitable gameplay for a portable device. [Jan 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

The controls work well but otherwise the single player game is a waste of time. The multiplayer part of the game is decent however. It's very old fashioned but the Wiimote controls make it seem fresh for a while. Multiplayer games are large and mostly free of lag. Too bad there's no voice communication. Super Mario Galaxy is full of imagination and character. It looks and sounds great and the controls are both versatile and accurate. The only negative is the low difficulty during the first half of the game. Even with that it’s still the best platformer since Mario 64. [Dec 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

The beginning of the game is very promising. Graphics are great and athmosphere is high. Unfortunately game mechanics are very straight forward and everything has been seen before. If that's not bad enough, the AI is just stupid. [Jan 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

A true blast from the past, turn based fantasy strategy in the spirit of old classics from 90s. A bold move that succeeds. Commanding your own orc horde or mercenary army to victory through the linear campaign is simply fun, especially when the game mechanics have nothing to be ashamed of, and there’s plenty of complexity to keep you thinking. We need more of unhurried, turn based goodness like this in the future. [Nov 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Technically Avencast got everything right: fighting is fun, interface is functional and the game has beautiful graphics; especially the spell effects are great. But the game itself is too simple, it’s almost completely hack’n slash. The action gets repetitive pretty fast, storyline is horrible collection of clichees and most of the spells are unnecessary. Still, if you’re a huge Diablo, Nox, Sacred, etc. fan, you might find Avencast attractive. [Jan 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

The second season starts out nicely. Everything that made the first season so terrific is still in the game: nutty humour, witty dialogue, entertaining plot and interface that works. The puzzles are good, although still not hard on adventure game terms. The sub-games do need something new, though. Driving the car is nice, but starts to get a little bit dull. I like Globe Domination campaign better than the old storyline driven system and I like the streamlined resource management. Unfortunately, with so many excellent RTS games (SC, CoH, WiC) on the market now EE3 can not compete. [Jan 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Wii is just right platform for olympic games. For example Archery and High Jump are just excellent. It's a shame, that some of the events suffers from fiddly controls like Single Sculls and Table Tennis. Generally game is quite fun and it works best with bunch of sporty friends. Looks just absolutely amazing on PC. Too bad the gameplay repeats itself to death: the same static duck and cover firefights get old pretty fast. Luckily the co-op multiplayer is great fun and the brilliant visuals keep players interested enough till the credits roll. [Dec 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate are both decent expansions to F.E.A.R. despite that fact the graphics looks a bit outdated. Suspense works well, but the new plot only messes the great ending of the original game. [Jan 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Darkness Within is a good detective adventure made in the spirit of H.P. Lovecraft. The storyline is intriguing and the puzzles are logical as well as challenging. The think screen interface is a nice innovation, which I’d like to see in future games, too. The biggest flaw is that sometimes it’s a little difficult to get forward due to the abundance of researchable areas and things. The game requires a lot patience and brainwork. If thinking isn’t your thing, don’t bother – Darkness Within isn’t for you. [Jan 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

The newest episode in the Fire Emblem series is very addictive and well made. The tactical combat works as well as ever even though the interface could be a bit smoother. Otherwise the combat is good, different units are well-balanced and it really matters where you move your troops. Even though the story is overly melodramatic and full of cliches I found it entertaining. [Apr 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Moving the series to the present day was the right move but the structure of the single player game should also have been updated. Barging from one invincible checkpoint to the next throughout the whole campaign just isn’t good enough anymore. Still the 5 hours it takes to finish the game are intense and fun. The multiplayer part is a whole ‘nother ballgame. It’s fast and furious and the new weapons and skills that you’ll unlock by increasing your rank keep you addicted. [Dec 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Hellgate: London takes the elements that made the Diablo series classic, and puts them in new, invigorating setting of demonic threat, dark magic and high technology. The fresh world of Hellgate: London is its greatest asset, but sadly the game fails in capitalizing it properly, with quite shoddy plot and generic missions outside the main story. Nevertheless, Hellgate: London is a good action RPG with plenty to enjoy. How the multiplayer system works when the game hits stores will ultimately determine the staying power of the game. A promising FPS-flavoured MMORPG, which suffers from some bad lag and minor design flaws, such as lack of proper auction house and a bit useless crafting. [Jan 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Takes a normal fantasy world and turns it into a refreshingly interesting place. Geralt is an excellent main character. The story moves along nicely after the boring old amnesia start and there are lots of things to do. The only major setback is the unresponsive combat, which doesn't give enough feedback to the player about what's really happening and if the commands are accepted or not. [Nov 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Basically it's a well done shooter with time twisting gimmick. Obvious puzzles and stupid AI makes things too easy even on elite-level. Fiddling with time is fun although the game does not use all of its potential. [Dec 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Seems to have it all: funny characters, stylish graphics and superb production values. It's a shame, that it lacks the challenge and depth of other titles in the genre. Despite that, The Simpsons will certainly appeal to the younger players and make this a good gateway game. [Nov 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

The same highly addictive and fun game as on other platforms, but the Wii-only features in the guitar are just mostly irritating. The only new thing that works is the vibration that handily announces the availability of star power. On the other hand, the sound from the controller makes you want to smash the whole thing in true Nirvana style. The visuals are ok on old television, but on never HDTV sets the picture quality so bad that the game becomes almost unplayable at times. Also the sound is only mono, which is a really strange thing for a music game. Worst version of a great game. [Jan 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

The best Guitar hero game so far. The song list is full of great hits and the raised difficulty level makes playing even more enjoyable than before. The new battle mode is boring, though. The new Les Paul controller has annoyingly sharp edges that eat through players' wrist in longer sessions. Otherwise, it's a slam-dunk hit. [Nov 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Although there are lots of areas to explore, there is too little to do. You can just swim, feed the fishes, pat your dolphin and stare at the ocean. Though the soundtrack is nice and game has a nice atmosphere, I would call my feeling of the game “bored” rather than “relaxed”. [Jan 2008]- Pelit (Finland)
