A great motorbike racing game. It feels a bit too familiar, though. Did we not see this game last year? And the year before? [Oct 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 is actually GRAW 1: Part 2. Although well made, military shooters could use some evolution. [Sept 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

A decent, if uninspired fantasy RPG in the vein of the Elder Scrolls and Gothic series. Its biggest problem is the generic fantasy setting combined with general mediocrity. But in the end, it is fun to play, and there can never be too many RPGs like that. [Sept 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

After two patches Shock Force has become a good game. Someday, after the WeGo mode, the TacAI and pathfinding have been fixed, it will be an excellent game. [Sept 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

An excellent historical strategy game and very addictive. Graphics are still awful; add-on only is more like a commercial update. [Nov 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

BioShock gets everything right with the storyline and the setting. Rapture is a seriously creepy place to be in. While the combat differs from a standard first person shooter, Bioshock's extra tricks do not require much creative thinking. The same routine of hacking everything in sight to bits and setting oil slicks on fire just keeps on repeating over and over again. A pity, really. [Sept 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

It's not a game, but it's still fun to play. Speech and hand writing recognition has few flaws, but otherwise DS's interface is very intuitive. [Oct 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

With an engaging story, great characters, top-notch production values and highly original game-system this is a truly unique RPG-experience. Respect, Atlus! [Mar 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

An interesting thinking man’s shoot ’em up. Too bad the enemies blend to backgrounds a little bit too well on some levels. The timelimits are mostly unnecessary. [Sept 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Wii's first online title and also Wii's best multiplayer game. The action has a very polished feel to it, and there are plenty of different tactics and teams. The graphics and single player modes could have been better. [Aug 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Has maybe the most entertaining song list yet in any Guitar Hero game, but unfortunately they are all too easy to play even on the hardest difficulty setting. The price tag for only a 30 song upgrade is a bit hefty, too. Still, it is fun for a sudden bout of 80s nostalgia. [Sept 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Another brilliant add-on for an excellent strategy game. The new content is well designed and makes the somewhat dull endgame more interesting. Also the mods and scenarios are quite nice, some being actual games in their own right. [Sept 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Still a great and a highly amusing bemani game. In fact, it pretty much created the genre we know today. A living legend. [Sept 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

A fine, if somewhat simple space-shooter. While space opera certainly requires a suitably pompous storyline, the silly teenage drama is almost too much to bear. While the space combat action plays out great, the missions suffer from the pointless time limits. [Sept 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Not a bad game, but cannot beat the original EECH combined with latest free community mods. I hoped for more changes to flight and systems modelling and AI, but instead we got some trees and invisible objects to crash into. [Aug 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

An excellent action-adventure. The fighting system is very good, and brainless button smashers die quickly. However, how about a completely new adventure next time around? [Aug 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Fun and action-packed. Las Vegas is the perfect setup for action. It does get a bit repetitive towards the end, though. [Sept 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Controlling your horde of loyal and evil Naši youth feels refreshing compared to the typical action adventure formula. The technical execution is solid and the over the top fantasy cliché humour works decently. The game does not have a whole lot of longevity or challenge but it does have burning hobbits. A deeply nostalgic trip for the fans. Even by today's standards this is not a bad RPG, but the lack of proper story and the constant fighting make it hard to recommend it to casual gamers. The PSP-version is definetely the best version of this game, thanks to the new, upgraded graphics. [Mar 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Don't let the cartoony 2D-graphics fool you. Under the cute surface lies a surprisingly deep and engaging real-time strategy-game. Great fun. [Dec 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

More of an experience than a game. Great storytelling and an almost paranoid attention to detail and characters work so well that you can overlook the obvious shortcomings of the action that contains no challenge whatsoever. [Sept 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix presents a nice and flexible engine that produces a beautiful sandbox-ish Hogwarts. However, the trite and mundane missions and general flaws turn a potentially entertaining game into average licence fodder. [Aug 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

The super powerful brakes and dumbed-down controls do a lot of damage to an otherwise decent off-road fest. Rallisport Challenge 2 did the same things much better. [Aug 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

It seems that EA tries desperately to create new content and games for Sims players. You can see the desperation here. Pet Stories doesn’t offer anything new to the previous ones but the horrible “stories” which are so utterly stupid that the player feels ashamed playing them. Everything’s not bad though. Creating and training pet is quite okay and there’s a lot to do as in all Sims games. Still, I wouldn’t pay full price for this new... game. [Aug 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

A deep and fun strategy game that shines in multiplayer. The only problem is that Commander feels very much like Strategic Command, but it is not quite as good. [Oct 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

An enjoyable action-adventure which takes the best bits from the first Tomb Raider and updates them with better playability, nicer graphics and deeper puzzles. A surprisingly good rehash of the old. [June 2007]- Pelit (Finland)
