Although the winter sports offer a nicer setup for the Olympics than the summer games, this evolved shake-until-you-drop clone of good old button-punching ’Games-series doesn’t captivate the spirit of the competition. The game surely has it’s moments, but those moments are somewhat rare. For single player this is definitely a no-no, but as a party game it performs quite nicely. [Nov 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

A technically competent city builder that lacks any kind of real depth of gameplay mechanics. There's not much left of a city builder when it's missing many crucial components like a public transport network and infrastructure design. [Jan 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

A Lemmings clone that focuses on style at the expense of substance. Still fun and captivating, but too limited in the gameplay department. [Dec 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

It’s got the freedom (partly) and it’s got realism (mostly) but it’s also badly designed with strict time limits, scarce checkpoints, bad AI, loads of bugs and a netcode that isn't worth a damn. It’s still rewarding though and it doesn’t have much competition on consoles. [Nov 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Sword and sorcery has never been so satisfying, every reward in the game have to be earned. The action RPG is so hard that it feels like it has been made in 90s. [Feb 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Not a huge leap forward but certainly a step in the right direction. New passing system is pretty solid and the game looks really good. Lack of options in defense is the biggest downside of NBA Live10. [Nov 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Loyal to the game of basketball in every possible way. There are more offensive options than one can even imagine to use and new defensive controls are a great addition. My Player mode is the best career mode in sports games so far. However, there are some issues with camera angles and a couple of awkward glitches that need to be fixed. [Nov 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Simbin continues making money with almost 3 years old game engine, and it shows in everything. Graphics and physics are really old fashioned. Standards are set in much higher nowadays. Race On doesn't move sim fans, and looks too ugly to "race" with Forza Motorsport 3. Race On is not worth buying for full price. [Jan 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

One of the best tower defence games around. It's quite fast and you can place the towers where you want. [Nov 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

A very good driving game and the basics are spot on. The lack of penalties and internet multiplayer modes are real problems, though. [Nov 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Same old Puzzle Bobble, which is both a good and a bad thing. It’s still an addictive puzzle game, but why not give us a campaign mode in the vein of Puzzle Quest? [Dec 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

A very good turn-based strategy game. It's certainly different and in many ways better than Advance Wars. [Jan 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Beaterator isn’t a game. It’s an application, which allows you to create your own club tracks. The basics are simple to learn, but the in-depth song crafting requires skills and devotion. The complexity of this small application is overwhelming. In theory, you can make your own music with it. [Nov 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Excellent fan service to Dead Space and a great on-rails shooter. Due to the genre change but sticking with the familiar location, weapons and enemies it’s both familiar and refreshingly new. Replay value after the 5 hour play through is questionable however. [Nov 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Absolutely furiating. It’s not unfair nor unbalanced. It’s a perfect example of a game, which demands practice, practice and practice. Sigma 2 is a dinosaur, a relic from ancient times. It doesn’t hold your hand when the bad guys kick the crap out of you. It spits on your face, kicks you in the stomach and makes you cry or try again. [Dec 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days looks astonishing for a DS game, but is afflicted with a disease called reiteration. Players who know their Kingdom Hearts inside out will find nothing new here. The worlds, the Disney characters and even the music of 358/2 Days are recycled from its predecessors. The game has its high points, such as the combat system and the sentimental atmosphere, but ultimately falls to mediocrity. [Dec 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Fun for a while, but two measly levels is just too little, too late. Especially for a game that's practically made for DLC campaigns. Also the difficulty level is ramped up a bit too much on expert. Yes, expert should be hard, but Crash Course just makes things frustrating whereas the balance between dying a lot and having fun was spot on in the original game. [Nov 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Graphically amazing but sadly the content isn't on the same level as the looks. Character classes are boring, quests are repetitive and the game world isn’t very fascinating. Aion’s endgame might offer something for the dedicated PvP’er, but too bad the way there is mind-numbingly dull. [Nov 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Competent WW2 -version of World in Conflict, camera controls could use some extra freedom. But when gameplay is simplified, it must be compensated with gorgeous graphics and interesting story, as WiC did. And Order of War is truly lame name. [Nov 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Fallen Earth has done its homework on post-apocalyptic worlds. It really captivates the player, assuming he isn't scared away by steep learning curve. The game has a lot of potential, let's hope the masses realize it too. [Jan 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

A decent hockey game, but there are not that many improvements compared to the last year’s edition. AI has been improved and some little details have been tweaked, but lack of significant innovations is too obvious. [Nov 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story features simply the best villain of video game history in Bowser, which is not half bad by itself, but what is best about the newest Mario & Luigi is the fact that it is a fantastic game. Be it the funny storyline of the game, its colorful characters or the diverse minigames, everything about this title is top notch. Bowser’s Inside Story is a great sequel to Partners in Time and one of the best games for Nintendo DS. [Nov 2010]- Pelit (Finland)

Contra Rebirth is a hard and short run & gun -shoot 'em up. It's pure neo-retro: It's done the way they used to be done and that's not necessarily a good thing. [Dec 2009]- Pelit (Finland)
