   I have played a bit of this on PS3 then on PC and it looks a lot better, especially the resolution causing the image to be more crisp instead I have played a bit of this on PS3 then on PC and it looks a lot better, especially the resolution causing the image to be more crisp instead of upscaled 720P. Also the framerate is no problem, the engine is very optimized and I can run this maxed out in DX10 easily. The controls aren't that bad, I've played other pc ports like Dead Space, Lost Planet, etc. You should just customize controls or simply learn it. I don't know why others complain about not being able to run and shoot when all the RE games have been like that, and it'll probably stay like that for quite a while.… Expand

   I'll just say I've been playing this series since RE1, so I have a good understanding of the series. Don't get me wrong most of the earlyI'll just say I've been playing this series since RE1, so I have a good understanding of the series. Don't get me wrong most of the early games are on the top of my RE scale, but Resident Evil 5 actually ended up being one of my absolute favorites in the series, and by far my most played. Why? Because this is an amazing co-op game, in a universe I already loved! If I were to judge this as a game without a friend, I wouldn't say anything amazing about it, but because I've played through it 5+ times with 5 different friends, I can tell you each experience has been a blast to play, and different each time.
   
   Resident Evil 5 just feels right with a friend. Upgrading your weapons is fun, collectibles are fun, the swapping items between your partner is extremely useful, and all the co-op features are just a blast. I highly recommend playing this game on the hardest settings, the extra challenge with a friend makes it very intense and fun.… Expand

   Wasn't playing resident evil series since RE 3 because of some personal life reasons. I knew RE 4 was good though. Recently I got a chance to play with the RE revaluation and it recovered my interest. This game is fit for a score of 8 just not as good as I expected.… Expand

   A good game, but very dull in many areas. The graphics are excellent and the game runs great on the PC. The controls can get very annoying andA good game, but very dull in many areas. The graphics are excellent and the game runs great on the PC. The controls can get very annoying and it feels like your feet are glued to the ground. Some of the spur-of-the-moment "press to dodge" parts of the game were well done, while others were pointless. The story feels a little rushed and bland, but still holds up. The dialogue is very generic. The inventory system is kinda stupid, because items can stack/not stack in an unrealistic manner in a vain attempt to keep game balance. The AI is lacking, be it friend or foe AI, so make sure to only play this game with another player, and not with the stupid friendly AI.… Expand

   I'm way disappointed with the Pc version of this game. The game is just really uncomfortable to play with keyboard and mouse, It's clear thatI'm way disappointed with the Pc version of this game. The game is just really uncomfortable to play with keyboard and mouse, It's clear that it was mainly designed for consoles. What's more, the many of the quick time events there're along the game are almost impossible to do without a gamepad. Although the controls ruins a lot the gameplay, the most annoying thing is the AI of your partner, which is one of the worse i've ever seen in a videogame.
   This game was the one that turned the franchise of Resident evil into an action game, the scary and creepy atmosphere has completely disappeared. However, the survival experience stills, we'll have to take into account every single bullet. Despite this, the games is in some ways enjoyable... At least is entertaining and graphics and level design are really good.… Expand

   Прошёл игру впервые в 2022 году. В целом, ощущения приятные, сюжет не напрягает, геймплей, в принципе тоже. Для 2009 года красивая графика,Прошёл игру впервые в 2022 году. В целом, ощущения приятные, сюжет не напрягает, геймплей, в принципе тоже. Для 2009 года красивая графика, хорошая физика оружия. Много разнообразного оружия, немалое разнообразие врагов. Сеттинг мне не по душе, поскольку я не люблю пустыни и всякое такое. Из минусов выделю однотипные локации, душные некоторые боссы. битвы с которыми затягиваются на 30 и более минут, ПК порт местами очень кривой, не работают ключевые предметы и местами также не выпадают необходимые для прохождения вещи. Управление сносное, но всё равно очень сильно кривит. Сейчас бы в эту игру я не рекомендовал бы играть, поскольку есть прекраснейший ремейк 2 и 3 части, которые на голову выше данного произведения, и которые демонстрируют обитель зла во всей красе. Как по мне, игра не проходит проверку временем, сейчас она ощущается, как хорошая игра, котоаря была популярна и играбельна в 2009 году.… Expand
