Thirsty Suitors condense a powerful message with the spicy spice of gossip and, in a broader sense, the story, intended as a relational way to create and develop a vision of the world shared with loved ones. There is no reason not to try the production of Outerloop Games, present since launch on Xbox Games Pass. The few defects of the production do not succeed in depriving it of a unique and inimitable charm, and of the attractiveness of a journey, that of Jala, which is actually that of each one of us.

Simply excellent from a visual point of view, Universe for Sale proves to be a valid and engaging work, able to excite and convince those who are carried away by its galactical mystery. We point out that on Steam the prologue is available for free: to try it can be a great way to take a look at what the team of Tmesis Studio has managed to achieve.

The Rogue Prince of Persia may be a strange take on Prince of Persia, but it’s definitely one worth playing. It does just about everything well and makes a real effort to stand out from the competition, offering unique gameplay mechanics that create dynamics completely different from those of Dead Cells (the game it’s most often compared to). If you can get past the prejudices surrounding it, you’ll find an excellent title in your hands, full of ideas that we hope will be carried forward in the future.

The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales presents an excellent basic idea and is, in general, well executed in its various parts. Just as the bookwalker is sucked into the various books in which he must venture, so it is difficult for the player to leave the adventure before its conclusion, as it manages to be engaging and inviting in its intrigues and mysteries. Narrative and exploratory aspects certainly prevail, while combat is the weak point of the experience. We would have liked an expansion of some elements of the plot, in our opinion not properly exploited, but we would recommend without reservation The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales to those who want to live a series of adventures that reinterpret in a different light myths and great classics of literature.

Planet of Lana is ostensibly the result of a work of synthesis and subtraction: far from being an overabundant product in its various elements, it points to the essence, to the utmost care of the elements that allow a narrative adventure to aim for excellence. Exceptionally directed from the point of view of aesthetics and sound design, Wishfully’s video game is responsive, precise and interesting in the construction of its puzzles. Koira is an enjoyable video game-fable suitable for everyone, especially those who are not very familiar with video games and want something quick, simple and absolutely non-verbal. The graphics are great, the sound even better, but we admit that it did not impress us all the way through. A couple of plot ideas could have been given more space to make Koira a little more original. As it is, Koira's real limitation is that it doesn't have that knockout punch that makes it an impossible game to ignore. It is 'just' a worthy indie that doesn't waste your time. Still, that's no small feat.

Reanimal aimed to represent Tarsier Studios’ coming of age and to create a spiritual successor to Little Nightmares. While it draws on some of the conventions of their previous work, it is clear that the vision here is decidedly more mature: it strips away the charming imagery that permeates the dark fairy tale overseen by Bandai Namco, resulting in an adolescent nightmare that is far more unsettling, typical of someone beginning to grow up and leaving childhood behind. The protagonists are older and angrier; they are able to rebel against the horror, refuse to be overwhelmed, and often fight back with a level of force and aggression equal to —if not greater than— that of their enemies. It is an intriguing first piece of the puzzle, boasting a remarkable visual imagination, yet for nearly half of its short lifespan it still seems to be searching for its own identity.
