If it weren't for the entry difficulties and some absurdities on the battlefield, it would have been a masterpiece. As it is, though, it's still a great game that can provide a lot of satisfaction.

Coming just a year after the fist episode, Super Scribblenauts finally manage to give an actually usable control system, but the boundaries on the puzzles strongly reduce the creativity and freedom to the players.

Skyward Sword’s concept is more similar to a Metroid game than a Zelda game. Even accepting this direction, it has no exploration, it’s too linear, and it focuses too much on puzzle-solving. Anyway, it’s a long, beautiful adventure, and it has some divine level design.

Blokus is a clever and interesting board game, that will appeal both to casual and skilled audience; besides the repetitiveness, the only problem is that it's a bit too pricey.

Great Little War Game delivers a nice single player campaign with twenty missions, a "pass and play" multiplayer mode and a skirmish mode to test our skills. Some elements of the gameplay work great, some others not, but overall you can't miss this game if you're a RTS fanatic.

Darkest Hour is not just a spin off, it is the real heird of Hearts of Iron 2. A believable and dramatic walk trough the most epic and dramatic moments of the 19th century.

Penko Park is an absurdly indie Pokémon Snap-like: enjoyable but quite derivative. You'll find all the typical mechanics of a track-based photography game and immerse yourself in a quirky and cute little world. For a handful of hours you'll have fun.

Goodbye Volcano High approaches the exit from adolescence to the fall of an asteroid, with all the powerful and fearsome consequences that follow. The ambiguity of this force of nature, destructive and constructive at the same time, opens new possibilities in the minds of those who are subject to its whims. KO_OP manages to make people smile, move and reflect with an irresistible cast of cartoon dinosaurs that will remain imprinted in our hearts for a long time. It is a pity for some technical problems and for the development of the story that can be seen in some parts, but these defects are not such as to affect the high quality of this fascinating ensemble.

Roguelikes are becoming a sort of cliché in mobile market and Space Grunts is nothing new but manages to stand out from the mass thanks to its good balance and nice visual characterization.

Far Cry 5 is an exciting new ride into a world of charismatic villains, crazy enemies around every corner and beautiful landscapes. Hope County's large sandbox hides so many opportunities and activities, different weapons and vehicles, lots of characters to interact with and frantic battles in the usual Far Cry fashion.

The Silent Age Episode Two is one of the most interesting games available on iOS and Android lately, as it's a solid, stylish and surprisingly well-written adventure.

Fifa 14 offers a extremely generous freemium option, and this is still the best football game on App Store and Google Play. However, there are still many things that are keeping the game from being a true gem.

Ni No Kuni II on Switch is a good port, but not the best possible. The art and style are still impressive, we can't say the same on the technical side, with drop in resolution and practically no anti-aliasing filter.

Dawntrail is by far the most complex expansion that Final Fantasy 14 has ever had to tackle: after concluding a ten-year-long story, it had to lay completely new narrative foundations, a goal it has only partially achieved. Similar to what happened with Stormblood, it suffers from much weaker writing compared to the usual standards and is particularly marked by significant pacing issues; however, it compensates with an exceptional "Battle Content" design, promising tons of satisfying encounters.

Gunbrella is a nice game: an action platformer with personality, stylish pixel art graphics, a surprising story and a pretty solid gameplay that puts combat first.

We've waited so long to have Mirror's Edge on the PC but all this time has been used by EA to deliver a better graphical experience and wonderful physics effects. Sadly several of the major problems are still in the game.

Danganronpa 2 is bigger and better than Trigger Happy Havoc, but it falls to the very same conditions: you need to like both visual novels and creepy stories. If possible, Danganronpa 2 is even darker and disturbing and it's okay if you get pissed because your favourite character has just died: it means that Spike Chunsoft delivered once again on the narrative front.

Persona 5 Strikers is a worthy sequel of the acclaimed JRPG with a solid narrative and a more action oriented combat system which gets very confusing more often than not.

Trackmania 2: Canyon brings back all the landmarks of the series. Easy and powerful editor, intuitive and fast gameplay, local and online multiplayer and tons of nice tracks. Additionally this chapter offers gorgeous lights, decent graphics and a great network full of official times, and ghosts, to confront with.

WWE SmackDown! vs RAW 2010 on the one hand is spectacular and rich in passion; on the other hand, it's almost the same game since years ago. The story editor is a great addition as it lets you upload your creations on the game's servers or download the ones created by other players. The online multiplayer is awful, with several lag problems. If you like wrestling games, this one is still the best you can find... but it desperately needs a change for the future.

A funny and quick but not too simplicistic game that captures perfectly the spirit of mobile gaming.

Motorsport Manager is an excellent simulator of a Formula 1 team, deemed heir of the elder Grand Prix Manager.

We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie is an excellent remastered game that also features some new levels. Newbies will fall in love with the Prince's wacky epic. Veterans will find the same game loved in 2005, enhanced by high-definition and new levels.

Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra is a compact and accessible MOBA, very enjoyable once you grasp the mechanics of this specific subgenre (and especially when playing with friends!), but characterized by simplifications that at some point could limit the experience. Being a free-to-play title, and one that is thankfully free of pay-to-win dynamics or overly aggressive monetization systems, the good news is that nothing will stop you from trying it out and getting a sense of what Ganbarion is attempting with this game, which is still only at the very beginning of a potentially long journey full of new characters and content.

Battlefield V does not reinvent anything but improves every aspect of Battlefield 1, except for single player campaign duration. And it's still missing some relevant contents, but it will grow with tons of free stuff during the next months.

It's already praiseworthy to have a complete, full fledged edition of a city builder, this city builder, on a console. Controls are obviously a limit but, in the end, this is still a very good game.

Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition is a decent port of a frantic, compelling beat'em-up, packed with plenty of game modes.

Sine Mora EX is still an excellent shooter with a terrific, well-balanced gameplay but a very short campaign.

Not only Magnetic Billiards: Blueprint is one of the most original, clever and downright entertaining puzzle games on the App Store, it's also one of the best examples on how free-to-play gaming should be done.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! paces itself halfway between a proper remake and a simple remaster, delivering an experience that visually and structurally appears close to the original game and feels inevitably dated. However, the story, characters and contents will once again please the fans of the series.

Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy is the sequel of the popular title. The gameplay is still fun and immersive but for the future we need to have some innovation.

Stellar Blade has exceeded our expectations, once again demonstrating how the Korean development ecosystem is not lacking in talented teams. It's certainly not a flawless game, and it suffers somewhat from direct comparison with its main inspirations, never really reaching their heights. However, it is a fast-paced action game, extremely solid and technically impeccable. It's a very promising first attempt in this field for Shift Up, which bodes well for the team's future projects.

F1 2012 is what the fans of the circus are waiting for. Refined handling, new contents and above all the ultimate F1 experience.

Prequel of Solomon's Keep, in Solomon's Boneyard it's possible to use 7 little wizards, against a young Solomon Dark and his malefic creatures. The wizards attack the enemies with different kind of power, in an endless horde-mode; every character has a personal strategy, so variety and fun is guaranted.

World of Warships is fun, engaging and simple (at the beginning). The various classes offer different type of gameplay and sinking other ships feels really good. But if your team is bad there is nothing you can do.

Shadow Bug feels and looks unique, and its gameplay is well supported by perfect controls and a clever design. The only letdown is that the game is a little bit on the easy and short side.

RIDE 6 confirms itself as an extremely solid racing game in terms of gameplay, technically convincing and backed by impressive numbers, even though the new career mode falls short due to some balancing issues that end up undermining the enjoyment of progression, trivializing tuning and failing to meaningfully differentiate between the two available riding styles.

A pleasant and funny game with old gameplay mechanic is always welcome in a console lineup, especially when we talk about Wii-Ware and a low price title like Rage of Gladiator, recommend to all the old Punch Out fans and many others.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 perfectly meets all the expectations we've had for months (and years) for this sequel. It undoubtedly capitalizes on Ninja Theory's expertise and the work done seven years ago with the original title, but it doesn't even attempt to bring any real innovation to the gameplay. This is an adventure game with some puzzles and a handful of combat sequences that serve to break the narrative's rhythm. If you approach it prepared and aware of this reality, we're confident that Hellblade 2 will not disappoint you. However, if you were tired of the first game or expected a cutting-edge action title, you might end up feeling burned. But one thing is for sure: if you find a way to check it out, do so at all costs, if only to understand what is, to date, the new technological benchmark of modern video games.

Dungeon Defenders is an indie game with many contents and great replay value.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III is packed with content. Two campaign, zombies, multiplayer and various enjoyable extras. Unfortunately weak but imaginative Campaign and some multiplayer issues keep Black Ops III from excellence.

Age of Wonders: Planetfall perfectly mixes the XCOM series with the Civilization one without renouncing to the peculiar characteristics of the past chapters of the series.

Etrian Odyssey Nexus is the most refined entry in the series and a perfect love letter to fans who have played the franchise through the years.

Racing Rivals does a great job in terms of structure, delivering a fast, immediate experience thanks to an excellent interface and online multiplayer, though it's not equally good when it comes to gameplay.

Horace is a nice surprise: a fun platform game with a good narrative. A great tribute to the 16 bit era.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a crazy party game based on the Takeshi's Castle TV show: guaranteed fun on PC and PS4.

Lost Ark is probably the best free-to-play MMO you can play today. It has an addictive combat system and the campaign is extremely long and you can complete that with or without friends. The only problems come with the ending that appears too intricate and difficult to understand completely.

This isn't the Nintendo's Wine and Blood we hoped for - but it's still a great DLC, with an amazing dungeon, and beautiful new shrines.
