    On the pitch, Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 is the undisputed king, but all around it there's far too much standstill.

    Looking at it negatively, you could say that PES 2018 is torn between two ideas, even seems to have some kind of identity crisis. Glass half full types will see it as a lovely soccer game, that can even be more fun than FIFA when played with friends. The added realism even gives it the credibility needed to give it an edge over FIFA.

    PES 2018 is Konami’s classic back at its strongest on PC, and the small changes to the feel of the gameplay have genuine ramifications on the pitch. It might lack the big budget feel of FIFA, most keenly felt in the match atmosphere, commentary and the lack of TV-like production values, but it plays a damn fine game of football.

    It's the best football game ever made. There is a new tier 6 AI difficulty (Legendary) which is really hard. Online matchs are good now, I'mIt's the best football game ever made.     I hope they'll close the series.After 10 years I played the game... AGAIN .. new version ? where ? The same damned problem... when AI decide you've to lose ... you lose ... doesn't matter what you do, AI start to run like a god, no passage failed till they get the goal -.- then, it's your turn ... but even if I do all the things in the perfect way ... last passage in front of the door... ALWAYS a **** , or my player shoot the ball EVERYWHERE ( but not in the door )...the alternative is that the goalkeeper act like superman ...It's really really a BAD things...even not talking about the myclub ... to get a decent player how much money I've to spend ??? 100 € ??? and in myclub competition everything seems to be made to drive you to spend more money ...
    REALLY REALLY a bad feeling ... I think Konami shouldn't forget that this is a GAME ... and a game should be fun... not stressing.
    DON'T WASTE MONEY on this game, really...    … Expand

    This could be a great game, if it had a great online. Unfortunately, online modes are the worse online experience in a game since modem times.This could be a great game, if it had a great online. Unfortunately, online modes are the worse online experience in a game since modem times. You can have the best fiber connection, the game will lag like hell. Then there are those cheaters that lag the game and if you are winning the match they will lag that much that the match will be declared null. Worst thing about this is that Konami doesn't care about these issues, you can send report mails and they will print these to wipe their asses. They have your money, that's all that they want.

    Oh, one more thing, AI just sucks, it's totally unreal, you lose the ball when the AI wants, your players are slower when the AI wants, your goalkeeper will not stop a ball... terrible.

    If you are buying this to play online, just don't do it, it's unplayable.    … Expand
