Overall, I think the balance between action and strategy is spot on for the casual as well as hardcore gamers out there and is well worth renting it out. The single player campaign is too short but on LIVE it will be different every time you play, making the game last for quite some time.

If you are looking for some easy achievements then this is worth renting but if you want “fun” playing against your friends/family locally or the world on Xbox Live then this game is certainly worth picking up.

It’s easy to see that March Madness 2007 is not the best college basketball game on the market. It’s not even close.

Despite some niggling flaws with the camera and general speed of the game it does feel reasonably polished. There are some really neat effects used and the idea of having the choice to use the Vital Suits or on foot makes for some inspiring gameplay moments.

The game play becomes very repetitive and you feel that a lot more could have been done with the powers Superman has and the whole city being open for exploration. However what you are left with is dull combat missions the odd fire-fighting and of course kitten hunting, racing and some destruction thrown in for good measure.

Atmosphere is great and engaging, gun battles are furious and highly cinematic at times and of course the whole squad element has been tweaked a little to be just that bit more intuitive for console owners.

I’ve enjoyed playing BIONICLE Heroes for the sheer fact that it’s uncomplicated, easy to get into and a lot of fun. However on a negative I can’t help but feel the net could have been widened to include levels of difficulty for more seasoned players and perhaps more levels and objectives other than the same repeated sequences throughout the game.

An absolute disaster for any reasonable fan of the series. The game is unfinished, annoying, disappointing, soulless, frustrating and to top it off includes my favourite gaming character only to ruin it!

My only concern with SmackDown 2007 is that it feels aimed more at the hardcore SmackDown gamers and WWE fans.

Eragon isn’t a bad game per se but is ultimately an average affair as it offers very little innovation to hack and slash gaming.

In my opinion Itagaki needs to go back to the drawing board and come up with some new concepts for this hybrid dating sports game. Some more depth is certainly needed as the inclusion of water sports doesn’t accomplish this.

The relaxed nature and slow pace of the game actually works well as you don’t need things to get overly complicated and if you are unfortunate enough to get into a situation where it becomes so then with careful and perhaps ruthless actions, players can get out of bad situations.

Sure, Gears of War doesn't really offer much that is new to the shooter genre but in the same token provides an experience that is extremely well polished and more importantly, fun to play.

Call of Duty 3 is an immersive game, perhaps the single player is not quite as intense and well thought out as Call of Duty 2's was, but it is an excellent game in its own right.

Wacky, fun, engaging and full of beans and perhaps not too dissimilar to "Amped 3" in design.

I would perhaps describe FEAR as "Condemned" on steroids perhaps.

The story element whilst interesting did feel very pantomime to me as a lot of hard talking was uttered during the cinematic moments and I often felt that these hard talking people would probably be better off bringing out shotguns and Uzis rather than taking to the streets to settle differences.

A fantastic start for FIFA 07, but will need some tweaking and perfecting in FIFA 08 to really bring over the doubters.

A Marmite sort of game – you’ll either love it or hate it!

It’s well put together, there’s plenty of action, nice visuals but most importantly it’s fun to play. Marvel fans themselves will surely be pleased with the amount of content in the game.

With solid visuals pushing the Xbox hardware, top-notch sound and voice acting driving the impressively deep story and an improved version of the rich game play we've come to know and love, Double Agent is easily a solid 9 out of 10, and a must own for any fan of the series.

Cars, is an entertaining game and certainly holds true to the movie which will please fans no end. I encountered no real issues other than it was perhaps a little lacking in content, but that’s from an experienced older gamer point of view.

Sadly the popular co-op mode from "Chaos Theory" did not make its return in Double Agent, I’m sure there are reasons but I am and no doubt many other fans of "Chaos Theory’s" co-op mode will be disappointed that it did not make its return in the new game.

A good game, but will be challenging for new players with little patience.

Just Cause simply has too little substance to propel it to great status and I think most gamers will find the flaws adding up to make a tiring gaming experience rather than the fun one it should be. That’s not to say the game isn’t fun, because it is, just not all the time.

Sadly Import Tuner Challenge doesn’t re-invent the wheel and feels exactly the same as "Tokyo Extreme Racer." This isn’t necessarily a bad thing although I do feel more could have been added other than the obvious graphical upgrade.

If you are a Godfather faithful then this game is a must buy – just don’t go into it expecting something fantastic, it is not. What it does offer is a compelling in-sight into The Godfather movies as it gives you a different angle on the films.

The majority of the game’s levels do feel repetitive. If you like to get some easy achievements from the game, then these can easily be attained.

One for fans only and should perhaps be avoided by anyone looking for something more.

LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy will be a delight to play for any Star Wars fan, the story is short and can easily be completed in a weekend with out breaking a sweat, it will certainly be an enjoyable weekend though.

The best NHL game EA has produced in a long time! Certainly the best looking sports game to grace the Xbox 360 at the moment with its beautiful visuals and lush presentation, however there is a feel of some minor loss of control from the lower frame rate provided.

Test Drive Unlimited offers a great racing/driving experience combined with a fantasy exotic lifestyle gamers can lead, something that hasn’t been done before as far as I can recall.

Enchanted Arms offers a compelling yet comical story that will at times make you laugh out loud or at the least, bring a smile to your face.

A cracking game and at the end of the day is extremely fun and rewarding which is what counts. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, what with all the sexual orientated gags and the stereotypical look at gangster life.

Once you look beyond the mindless killing and embark on the other styles of play the game allows then you are left with something far more fulfilling.

With its destructive, albeit a little unforgiving racing that is fast and of course very furious; players should have a fun time with the game, especially as the focus isn't on the usual high performance racing cars that don't take much damage from impacts.

A good, no brainer shooter which should appeal to anyone that likes no nonsense gaming. There's no tactics or strategy which means gamers of all skills can get stuck right into running around gunning down hell spawn.

Once you get over the initial speed of the game and focus on the more tactical element then players will have a better time. However I fear that many players will lack the patience, especially if they are used to fast paced first person shooters.

Prey offers a surreal and entertaining playing experience; however I did feel that it was a one trick pony, albeit a very good trick indeed.

The controls aren’t quite 100% satisfactory, but an incredibly brave attempt has been made and should be applauded.

Over G Fighters does nothing drastically different from other similar games. It also has a fairly steep learning curve especially where missile evasion is concerned.

A very solid title despite its rather lacking looks. The overall presentation is good and it features plenty of cool ideas that seem to work very well in general.

If you can look past the bugs in MotoGP '06 and are a fan of the Xbox predecessors then this game is a must buy. If you are new to the MotoGP franchise and just want quick bursts of fun, then the Extreme mode is ideal and is playable online from the start.

Fun and exhilarating.

The abilities of your comrades adds a level of depth often missing from games of this nature and with a little experimentation can be quite rewarding.

Sadly, there is none of that witty humor that we come to expect from Rockstar; which may have beefed things up a little bit if it was included.

Despite being able to control three very different characters, it lacks any sort of punch to make the game’s features stand out.

This game is worth hiring before you even consider buying for two reasons, the first being that you might actually finish the game over the hire period, and the second reason is to see whether the music will drive you insane.

If you do want to enjoy the World Cup experience though, this is a very competent footy game, just don’t expect football perfection.

This isn’t at all a bad game but it is poorly presented on this platform, and to be perfectly honest it doesn’t belong on this platform, but if you’re really wanting to play this and you hate PC games then go ahead and buy it.

I still feel that although enjoyable, the puzzles weren’t as fiendish as previous games and offered only a mild mental challenge. I also felt that the linearity of the levels lost some of the exploration elements found in previous titles especially as not once did I lose my bearings.

They have certainly spent a lot of time tweaking the gameplay mechanics to create something more entertaining and more importantly, fair online, however there are still some minor quibbles that will displease.

If you have never played a Far Cry game before then now is the time as Far Cry Instincts Predator has a lot to offer.

There’s no back story or true information regarding any of the characters in the game. There are also plenty of match types that are omitted such as a Royal Rumble which as the name implies would have been a perfect inclusion.

I think graphics junkies will probably feel a little let down when presented with the game’s visuals.

There are issues with the title such as the controls, camera and AI but in general these do not hamper the overall game play too much other than causing some player frustration at times.

Blazing Angels is definitely one for aircraft and arcade fans who aren’t overly fussed about realism especially as it offers nothing really new to the genre. There is no cockpit view included which may annoy some players but when you play the game and begin to appreciate the lock on camera you are left with often stunning dog fights that will most certainly bring a smile to your face.

Despite the driving, which I couldn't stand and the odd glitch here and there I found The Godfather to be a compelling and entertaining title. Yes it does look rather dull in places but in general has enough character and polish to keep you hooked.

If there was ever a game that could be described as having the ultimate longevity then this would perhaps be it, although I must say a little self control is possibly required.

Sure there aren't as many options as in "GTA: SA" but then again Parallel Lines offers more depth to the actual driving and escaping cops.

It is a must-rent title because it is a unique game for the 360 and will be a welcome break from all of the 1st person shoot-em ups.

For tactical warfare fans GRAW is a must buy, the fantastic single player campaign and especially the extensive online multiplayer options will keep you coming back for more.

The lack of a controllable three man team, not being able to choose character classes, unrealistic hit detection, few outdoor sections in the wilds, faster paced game play, health checkpoints (luckily these are removed from hard difficulty) makes GRAW far removed from the original Ghost Recon to the point of almost being an entirely new game.

There is no doubt that whilst it lasts, Black is a very cinematic, fun and immersive playing experience; however its length and lack of multiplayer might ultimately be its demise because most gamers could probably get the most from the game within a rental period.

If like me you enjoy the feeling of scoring points then FIFA Street 2 can really bring out the competitive edge in you and is a fun yet sometimes frustrating game to play.

During the career mode you can have a rivalry that becomes so fierce it actually gets added to the ESPN Classic's section.

Sonic Riders takes the racing formula and adds its own spin on things which results in a quirky, entertaining title that should not only appeal to sonic fans but racing fans as well who are looking to test their skills on other forms of transport, albeit fictitious ones!

EA could have put in so much more to provide an ultimate boxing experience yet what they have offered is a bare bones fighter that simply looks good and plays well but after extensive play becomes rather underwhelming.

Full Auto features one of the coolest game mechanics on the Xbox 360 to date and that is the “Un-Wreck” or rewind time.

Getting Up could be described as "Jet Set Radio" without the cartoon flavour and minus the roller blades but maybe that's going too far as really the only thing they have in common are the exploration element and graffiti.

This is a very nice action puzzle game but after completing the 60 levels, there would not be a lot for me to return to except to play on LIVE, which in turn is quite hard to do as you can’t find many human opponents what with so many other good 360 titles available.

To truly master any fighter you need to be proficient with all characters. DOA 4 offers an enjoyable yet frustrating experience depending on your levels of skill and patience.

Great in very short bursts and that’s about it.

The option for online multiplayer would have surely added more replay value to the game, but to give credit where it’s due, this is my favorites Xbox Live Arcade game at the moment.

A welcome relief to play after having a manic session of Ghost Recon; where I can just sit back, relax and play a few games without having to worry about being shot in the back.

This one is worth the dosh for the download. Quick bursts of fun to keep you entertained; get one of your mates online as a co-op partner as well, and things can only get more crazy and fun.

This game shines at its best with the head-to-head online game modes though.

A long game in that there are plenty of dungeons to fight through and the fact [is] that it’s not easy if you don’t continually add credits.

Trying to unlock the various difficulties is extremely challenging and can cause frustration for those prone to getting worked up over games. The loading is a little annoying at times but overall doesn’t hamper a stylish yet psychedelic experience that is full of shooting and lots more shooting.

This game proves the argument that game play is more important than graphics. The addictive nature of this fast, action puzzle shooter will make sure you come back time and time again to break up those long sessions on any other 360 title.

The game has many chapters but considering you have an unlimited number of lives, you can easily finish this game within a few hours.

I enjoyed playing the game and will continue to do so as it offers a simplistic approach to gaming that has worked for years.

If you were to rent RR6 then you would barely have enough time to scratch the surface of what the game has to offer so I would recommend a purchase if you are a racing fan looking for new horizons and new challenges.

Perfect Dark Zero as a game is a great experience and although the single player storytelling is rather weak and non engaging, the game play of the missions is where the action flows and offers that engagement that we all look for.

Although the game could probably be completed in a rental period on easier settings I have no doubts that this game is one title that many players will want to replay over and over.

Naturally full of suspense and will no doubt make many players jump in their seat at times or genuinely feel anxious whilst playing.

It has everything; superb gameplay, spectacular graphics, fantastic sound and to top it all off, the usual but addictive Xbox Live play.

GUN is a very fun game to mess around with, yet playing the Xbox 360 version felt very underwhelming when compared to the Xbox version.

This is not a bad game but it does feel like you are getting a lot less of the game for a higher retail price compared with the Xbox version.

The lack of genuine Live play does hurt the longevity of the game but I guess you cant have everything.

I have found that NFSMW is highly addictive and the return to the roots of the series with the pursuit mode is a more than a welcome inclusion over the recent underground titles.

I say this time and time again, if you don’t own a previous version of Madden than this game will have everything you want to play football.

I wouldn't class this as a game that belongs within the Sonic franchise but as a unique game featuring Shadow and all his friends including Sonic.

The freedom to roam and undertake missions works well and the story is gripping and entertaining at the same time.

The game play is solid throughout and never overly complicated. The combat is fluid and intuitive especially if you scratch beneath the surface to find a rewarding combo system in place.

Not the longest of games by any means but still offers plenty of replay value.

A decent albeit an average 3rd person action game, which although showing some flaws, most noticeably the AI at times; remains engaging and fun.

I enjoyed the shooting action on foot but found the driving to be a little lacklustre.
