The customisation options are great for those of you wishing to get that bit more bang for your buck but are not really needed for the more casual players who will have enough to contend with in the Classic and Story modes.

The fights are well balanced and won’t feel too easy to complete but with the loss of LIVE, the game life itself has been severely dented.

CMR 2005 may not be as visually impressive as the Rallisport titles but it does deliver in terms of gameplay the most playable and fun authentic rally experience of any of the available rally titles.

The announcing is unfortunately not up to the previous standards seen in the 2K series.

A good few hours can be spent on just walking around the mansion, just checking out the character bios by logging onto the terminals. All in all great fun.

With some of the puzzles being laborious rather than fun I suggest bringing your brain along with you as well. Overall Head hunter ends up being a very average game.

If you can overlook the poor camera and aiming system and get into the game's diverse story then there is a fun game to be had here.

The fluid movement of each class is wonderful including the rag doll effect when they have been shot, trampled over or blown up.

A fantastic game.

Players who have played the PC version will not find a lot wrong with this release, but the console owner will bemoan the slow gameplay and lack of decent AI.

Whilst not offering the same level of depth to characters or story as in "Knights of the Old Republic," Fable offers a much more experimentation and rewarding free form game play with a silent yet loveable lead character as a representation of yourself.

Shellshock Nam 67 does although do an excellent job of bringing the most harrowing and brutal conflicts to the xbox and as a game is an enjoyable experience.

If you're a fan of the Bad Boys films this is a must and even if you're not this is great to play to get some anger out of your system!

The fluidity of character movement is absolutely horrid as the character you control moves in a sluggish and exaggerated manner.

Be warned, however, that this game is not for the weak at heart. It will scare you. But like a good horror flick, you'll love every minute of it, especially without the usual stupid teenagers getting killed.

Technically, Burnout 3: Takedown is not as realistic or advanced graphically as an xbox specific title such as "PGR2," but this is an arcade racer with arcade racing visuals.

Manages to provide 14 levels of limited variety, although the levels are rather short they are quite enjoyable.

Sega Sports went out of their way to lovingly craft an excellent piece of software, and at the price it just can't be beat.

A must have at such a cheap price. The free-form game play allowing you to take bonus missions whenever you feel like it and the wide variation of missions makes this game too big to finish on just a rent.

What absolutely kills the replay value, however, is the lack of Xbox Live play.

If you own any of the previous Madden games than personally I wouldn't bother buying this game.

Multiplayer fans of all types will not be disappointed as over 20 maps (including some classics from the original) are supported across several game types including the all new retrieval and conquest modes.

The story is strong and keeps you interested all the way, the control system is hard to master but allows fluent exploration of the environments (which are huge).

It looks nice, it plays nicely and it's short BUT it is a budget title and at £20 it is a steal.

A fun and entertaining game but due to its length I would recommend this as a thoroughly entertaining rental.

Whilst enjoyable the game play does get repetitive after extensive play but still remains fun if you're wishing to cause mass killings with ease.

If it sounds hard to web swing into a wall run, grab a little girl's balloon as you jump off the wall to attack a thug, and yank another goon into the air with you as you drop, then you're beginning to understand how complex some of these move combinations can be.

The missing tag instructions, flawed control system, serious lack of a story and the number of glitches in this game should be embarrassing for Acclaim.

Straight away you can tell that this game means business with the amount of options you can choose from before you even get to race.

The story is gripping and rich in content.

With its no nonsense game play I recommend this title for those bored of the Tom Clancy approach to gaming.

The Psi abilities really do make the player feel powerful against the guards and the wide options for its use is great.

The story isn’t gripping at all which has been replaced with repetitiveness.

For those looking for more brainwork than sheer brawn then this game is well worth a look.

There are not many games that have a fantastic storyline with top of the range graphics and gameplay, but this is one of them.

A breath of fresh air when it comes to stealth games.

It is not challenging enough to be a fully fledged RPG or have enough bad mutha action in it to be classed as a 3rd person action shooter romp.

A decent game overall yet nothing truly spectacular.

There is not enough new content to really justify the price tag, it’s more of an add-on pack than a new game in its own right, but then again most of EA games are.

This is a story driven game with the emphasis on gun play rather than mindless wandering around. Red Dead certainly delivers this at every turn and is well worth a look if shooting is your thing.

My only real complaint is that they took out a lot of the tension in the game. I guess making it more accessible to the casual gamers that lack patience.

The game play does get repetitive as you simply go from A to B doing the same things over and over with little variation except in weapons and levels.

Lacklustre combat and awful graphics.

A huge success for boxing fans and gamers alike, and is well worth a purchase, but with lackluster commentary, no custom soundtrack support, and, like all current EA titles, no Xbox Live support, it falls just short of the greatness that could have been.

It is the first time that any game allows players to play from a third-person perspective against others playing in the first person view. With eight maps to play on, all very different from each other and three types of game-play, this game will last you for a very long time.

The greatest experience I have ever had in all my years of gaming. That’s right Xbox owners, in many regards it even surpasses "Halo."

Despite displaying some excellent game play ideas the overall execution and presentation lets the title down. The controls being overly fiddly don’t help matters and the lacklustre combat fails to inspire.

With a little patience regarding the overall speed of the game you will find an entertaining title that will grip you to the end. Not essential but a good game all round.

Cool game play mechanics and heaps of atmosphere.

Once you strip away the western theme of the game you are left with pretty much a standard shooter that offers no frills entertainment.

The few camera issues that you may have are merely teething troubles and will soon make way to pure unadulterated ninja killing with style and flair. This game has Xbox classic written all over it.

The movement feels realistic as you plod along in your heavy machine, building up speed and even fall over when you try to turn too quickly or encounter undulating ground. The physics are as realistic as you could possibly imagine and one wonders why no government has actually made one.

The game is visually pleasing to the eye but fails to produce any major "wows" overall.

With its new cinematic approach to the series it has captured the essence of what Bond does in the movies very well.

Lets hope for the next game they incorporate the vehicles and more of the tactical play into the story.

The game runs smoothly and offers decent competition from the cpu cars.

The game plays extremely smoothly with slightly 'iffy' storylines.

The whole game looks wonderful and the controls feel great, in fact there is no faulting this game except when you are defending, you just don’t seem to have a chance against the opposition.

Graphically R Racing looks poor, especially the track detail.

Quaint.

The changes that have been made are the best compromise for a multi platform release but I can't help wishing it was as in-depth statistics wise as the first game.

The simplistic nature of the game play makes it pale in contrast to its peers such as the previously mentioned "Brute Force" and "Freedom Fighters."

The animation is superb and very fluid. The controls are simple enough with a great interface.

The slightly dull and unadventurous graphics really dont impress on Xbox and could have been better.

This is one of those great videogame moments that you see the passion of the designers making the game really show in the end product.

So full of character and style that you will find it hard to put the controller down.

A welcome change from the norm and if it wasn’t for the awkward camera angles, it would have been a top class game instead of an above average game.

This has to be the best Real Time Strategy game available on the Xbox but considering what else is around, this is no hard feat to achieve, but in its defence, it will take some beating with such a great control interface and one that other companies will have to aim at to beat.

With such a huge plot and many, many puzzles to solve, this game should take an experience gamer quite some time to finish if they don’t deviate from the main story.

Unfortunately other than the Ford licence there is nothing here to really fire you up. Sure if a player wants a quick blast at a racing game then this delivers.

Eight large taxing levels will give you a lot to get through and you'll have a great time experiencing them but unfortunately the title offers little replay value.

Flawless animation, solid voice acting and a top quality cinematic experience makes this game a marvel to look at. On the flip side, a linear story line removes the intrigue that the animation series has captured and pulled its audience in with.

From the start you can tell the puzzles are going to be good but even that will start to wear thin when you have to battle the same monsters time and time again whilst moving from room to room.

Massive ruins, and expansive forest. The water is top-notch, and the character animation is superb!

A brilliant balance between graphics and gameplay that must be seen, and experienced, to be believed.

Raven Squad sounded great on paper, and in many regards you could have forgiven poor graphics and dodgy sound if there was some flair and fun to be had with the gameplay. Sadly there is not.
