With a decent amount of content (including 14 tracks and 80 riders), thrilling first-person views and super-rewarding gameplay, one half of SBK X is a very good superbike sim tainted by bad design choices and extensive load times. Lego Pirates of the Caribbean is another excellent spin on a fantastic movie world, that does justice to both its source material and the standard of Lego games preceding it. With great visuals and scenery bringing such life to a rich, crazy world of ships, pirates, damsels in distress and turbulent seafaring life, it's hard not to fall in love once more with the cute charm, unique character and addictive gameplay that Lego Pirates has in strides.

I've been pleasantly surprised at how solid the game is. It's far from perfect, completely cheesy, copies other games, but ultimately offers a fun no-nonsense shooting experience.

A short game and might make some players feel sea sick. The lack of a map does prolong the experience for perhaps the wrong reasons and the camera angles take a little getting used to.

I do like the Lego aspect of this game; it makes it stand out from the other Rock Bands (except perhaps The Beatles). The music selection is great and the rock challenges are fun.

The Bourne Conspiracy is a valiant effort for a movie tie in game and captures the flavour of the movies it is based upon very well due to its unorthodox stop start action sequences and variant gameplay.

As DLC goes, it's a decent mission and the extra items/character is cool to have. But for the price of entry it could have had a little more content. This add-on can only really be recommended for die hard fans with points to burn.

Raze's Hell is a fun but short-lived experience. While its story mode can be entertaining at times, it soon becomes repetitive as it's all shooting and killing.

An updated roster, gameplay enhancements and in some cases drawbacks don’t help the latest offering of the SmackDown series by any means. The removal of the weight detection, balancing issues between the new fighting styles, and ultimately the very poor 24/7 mode really do hinder this WWE experience.

I enjoyed the shooting action on foot but found the driving to be a little lacklustre.

The abilities of your comrades adds a level of depth often missing from games of this nature and with a little experimentation can be quite rewarding.

It may not be perfect, but The Simpsons Game is bold enough and packs enough gags to have you rolling along the floor either as Homer, or yourself as you constantly can’t believe the superb visuals and cut scenes. It doesn’t hold too much replay value unless you like collecting every item available, but it does enough to be easily the best Simpsons game I have ever played.
