ReCore is a two-sided game: the first half shows a very promising game, with great combat and platforming coupled with an inspired design, but all of these efforts get crushed once you reach the latter levels, demanding long and boring grinding and object collection sessions. Had the developers stopped before these sections, it would have been a great game.

A deep and satisfying prison design and management game, strongly reminiscent of games like Dungeon Keeper and Evil Genius. We loved the community prison sharing feature, but would have liked some form of co-op gameplay. Unluckily Its uninspired and over-simplistic graphics don't do the game justice, but it's at least functional.

A fascinating adventure, mainly due to its awesome claymation look and old school mechanics. You'll need some patience though, due to its pervasive and slow backtracking.

It shows potential however, and the next episodes should be able to put more meat on their bones.

Pac-Man 256 manages to yet again renovate its decades-old gameplay with a new and addicting mechanic good both for short and long sessions, and at a great price. Definitely recommended.

FRU definitely is one of the best and more innovative games for Kinect, entertaining both alone and with friends. If you've got a Kinect connected to your Xbox One, this is a must buy.

Despite its interesting premise and good artistic design, Song of the Deep fails to deliver the metroidvania experience we hoped for, with a too heavy backtracking and enduring and boring battles. It's by no means a bad game and fans of the genre should be able to enjoy it, but this is not the Insomniac Games' Ori and the Blind Forest we hoped for.

A good remaster by Capcom, with enjoyable graphics and new modes and contents. If you never played the game or want to relive Chris and Sheva's adventures (including all DLCs), it won't disappoint you.

Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter introduces new and interesting elements capable of making Sherlock Holmes a more human and charismatic character with some welcome additions in gameplay too, like the new first person mode. It's still got some of the series known defects though, like low-detailed characters and bad animations, while load times can often be exhausting.

A nice mash-up between Trials and Blood Dragon's 80s parody, but it feels a bit short in content for the price it's sold at.

Dangerous Golf tries to recreate Burnout's Crash mode charm, but it unluckily fails to recreate both its variety and tactical depth, without even mentioning its huge frame-rate problems. What's left is a nice party game to play with friends, but you'll probably quickly forget it.

Valentino Rossi: The Game proved to be a solid bikes racing game, with lots of content both regarding MotoGP's latest season and Valentino Rossi's entire career. It offers a rewarding driving model and lots of different modes drawing from the sport's latest 20 years. It slips on the technical side, though, and with the underwhelming car driving sections. Despite this, it's surely the best and most complete motorbike racing game today.

A fascinating jump in gaming past, with a varied gameplay and a pleasant art style. Unluckily it proved to be quite frustrating too, due to several bad choices in game design.

Mighty No.9 disappoints in almost any area due to an inaccurate and frustrating gameplay and a bad technical production with uninspired art. Unlocking the co-op mode only once the story has been completed was a bad and inexplicable choice, too. On the bright side, though, it's packed full of contents and when it works it can be frantic and entertaining. Not a total failure, but given the kind of talents working on it it's unluckily a huge letdown.

Nowhere Studios' game has got as many qualities as defects: the brilliant artistic design and the good environmental puzzles get counter-balanced by lots of bugs and imprecise controls. All in all, it's definitely a game worth trying for Limbo-like games lovers.

Fenix Furia is a precise and polished - even if a bit uninspired in design - platform game that will put your skills to the test.

With a flawless, clean and detailed artistic design and an incredible variety in gameplay, Inside is a real masterpiece that will repeatedly blow your mind. A must buy.

Homefront: The Revolution feels like a huge missed opportunity, lacking in every area from world design to gameplay mechanics to AI. Probably the troubled development took its toll at the end.

TurnOn delivers an artistically fascinating world, with nice gameplay mechanics in an highly detailed and full of life city. Its main downside is the overly easy gameplay, lacking any real challenge.
