A fascinating journey, putting us on 70s Italy roads with a cast of interesting characters and a magnificent original soundtrack. Its amazing atmosphere gets counterbalanced by a problematic driving system and an high repetitiveness due to the lots of replays needed to explore all the contents. Infinity Ward's new game introduces an exciting new campaign while being more conservative on the multiplayer side, with a mix of Ghosts and BO3 mechanics. A valid remaster job, with good visual improvements and tons of new contents due to the added mods support. Battlefield 1 offers an incredibly epic and balanced multiplayer experience, with a great focus both on close quarters ans vehicular fights and with the Operations mode as its crown jewel. A heartfelt and intimate experience, putting us in the shoes of a fragile man who chose the isolation of nature to escape a great pain. It's more an interactive tale rather than a proper game, but its good story and awesome sceneries make it worth the experience. ReCore is a two-sided game: the first half shows a very promising game, with great combat and platforming coupled with an inspired design, but all of these efforts get crushed once you reach the latter levels, demanding long and boring grinding and object collection sessions. Batman: The Telltale Series starts quite slowly, mixing great Batman scenes to sometimes boring Bruce Wayne dialogues, all in just a couple of hours. Moreover, it looks like yet again Telltale completely forgot about Italy during localization, something quite penalizing seen the often very quick dialogues. Valentino Rossi: The Game proved to be a solid bikes racing game, with lots of content both regarding MotoGP's latest season and Valentino Rossi's entire career. It offers a rewarding driving model and lots of different modes drawing from the sport's latest 20 years. It slips on the technical side, though, and with the underwhelming car driving sections. Mighty No.9 disappoints in almost any area due to an inaccurate and frustrating gameplay and a bad technical production with uninspired art. Unlocking the co-op mode only once the story has been completed was a bad and inexplicable choice, too. On the bright side, though, it's packed full of contents and when it works it can be frantic and entertaining. Mirror's Edge Catalyst fails in being the grand series return fans were hoping for, mainly due to a boring and frustrating combat system, a forgettable story and a lifeless city. What's left is a charismatic main character, great buildings architecture, a good traversal system and the hope for a more inspired and entertaining sequel.- MondoXbox
