Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is a must-have for fighting game fans and for new players curious to experience these retro games for the first time. Its biggest flaw is that it feels too similar to previous collections and does little to elevate this kind of release to the next level. And although the lack of extra modes, cross-play, and other features prevents it from being the definitive collection, its historical importance and value are undeniable. A trip to the past well worth taking.- LevelUp

I can’t deny that it was a pleasure to meet again with a title that I played many years ago and, in general, I consider that it is an experience that can be pleasant for fans of the series. However, its not easy to bring back mechanics and control schemes already overcome; maybe those who played the original delivery will take a little time to get into the rhythm and, in a brief time, they will achieve it. The big questions remains: can Onimusha: Warlords appeal to a new audience as well? The answer remains uncertain. In any case, elements such as control and certain game mechanics, such as the more complicated riddles and the difficulty of some combats or enemies, will leave the coin in the air waiting for the experience to be pleasant for those embarking on this adventure. Despite its limitations and, Onimusha: Warlords fulfills its premise as a remastering and as a game. Without a doubt it is a good return to the past and I hope that it has the necessary reception to guarantee the launch of the subsequent titles.- LevelUp

To the hardcore fan, Madden NFL 18 will be an inconsistent experience. For every change or improvement made in the form of Frostbite or MUT Squads, there's a raw aspect or a neglected aspect, such as the Franchise's inconsequential tweaks, the presentation shortcomings in Longhot or the irritating loading screens. If you are new to the franchise, on the other hand, this is a solid sports game.- LevelUp

Although it does not add any new features to the series, Batman: Arkham Origins provides an amazing story and a big cast of villains from the Batman Universe. It also maintains every single aspect from Asylum and City, like the predator mode and free flow combat in a larger city with lots of secondary activities. The multiplayer experience — the first one in the franchise — is disappointing, but overall, Warner Bros. Montreal lived up to the standards established by Rocksteady.- LevelUp

Lillet Blan returns once more to the Silver Star Tower, but this time fixes some of the problems of the original game from 2007. Thanks to new content like the gallery, the skill tree and the quality of live improvements, GrimGrimoire OnceMore is the best and most beautiful version of the 15-year-old RTS game from VanillaWare and Nippon Ichi Software.- LevelUp

Dishonored: Death of the Outsider is a good entry in the stealth franchise, but falls short compared to its predecessors due an uninspired level design. Nevertheless, it’s a great closure for the Jessamine Kaldwin saga and the retribution story of Corvo Attano that fans of the Dishonored series will learn to love.- LevelUp

Grounded has great ideas and delivers a truly entertaining experience. It is one of those games that are made for you to start a game and get lost for hours while you get resources, improve your tools and build the best base of all together with your friends. What started as a small and crazy idea evolved into an exceptional survival that shines with great strength.- LevelUp

A good game in its own right, Shadow of Mordor doesn’t need nor improves upon Tolkien's fiction. Sadly, though, exploitable combat mechanics, repetitive missions and an unsatisfactory navigation system hinder its chances of becoming one of the best games of the year.- LevelUp

A shallow yet explosive experience, Just Cause 3 may not satisfy all tastes but if you are looking for chaos in its purest form, you won't be disappointed. Having said that, the game lacks variety, has some performance issues and its online structure seems uninspired. A fun but unrefined experience overall.- LevelUp

This new edition of Heavy Rain highlights one of its best features: a great art direction and presentation. However, apart from the graphic improvements, there's not much else. It is a great cinematic experience, but the lack of additional content keeps us from recommending it to someone who has already finished the game in the past.- LevelUp

Even though Ghostrunner 2 only expands and improves the ideas of the original game, its parkour and combat systems remain highly enjoyable. It's a very fun and challenging experience that will excite fans of challenging games and adrenaline, even though it's not perfect.- LevelUp

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is an interactive tale that immerses us in a shadowy and humor-filled narrative right from the start. With its distinct style of creatively unraveling puzzles, it keeps us engaged from beginning to end. Retaining the game's original essence while enhancing its visual appeal was a commendable choice. This version serves as a deserving tribute to a truly original game that went unnoticed during its initial release.- LevelUp

Legions of Steel is a recreation of the classic tabletop game from the 90s. It excels at conveying the original feel of the game thanks to its well implemented mechanics. At its core, Legions of Steel is a tactical turn-based action experience that rewards the top quality strategist. It may display a simplistic appearance, but Legions of Steel is a challenge for veterans of the genre.- LevelUp

Blood: Refreshed Supply is a meticulous restoration of one of the most underappreciated 90s shooters. A bloody showcase of difficulty, inventive level design, and darkly comic horror with modern technical upgrades. Night Dive Studios delivers a faithful remaster with expanded content, performance enhancements, and broad platform support. However, its steep price and controversial upgrade strategy overshadow the achievement, making this revival as divisive as it is technically impressive.- LevelUp

Wizard with a Gun is great with a friend and even alone; it combines perfectly the combat of a roguelite and the exploration and administration of a strategy game, but sometimes it's so ambitious that it’s kind of a mess.- LevelUp

Tacoma is not for everyone. Even if you like this sort of game, we should warn you that it lasts only about 5 hours. Now, as brief as it is, the experience is also pretty satisfying. You will hardly find any good reason to play it more than once but if you are willing to commit with the story, you will surely enjoy it.- LevelUp

Starfield is quite the epic ride! This game immerses you in an enthralling odyssey filled with unexpected twists, always keeping you on your toes as you chase down new missions. Nevertheless, the experience is marred by technical and performance issues, the presence of procedurally generated planets, and the reliance on fast travel, all of which tend to dilute the overall sense of exploration.- LevelUp

Enter the best controls the franchise has known and a ton of other changes and improvements. It's a shame that the fantastic level design wears out because of how the game forces the user to play in the same place over and over. Otherwise, this introduction to the new direction of the franchise is really satisfying.- LevelUp

Horizon Chase Turbo: Senna Forever is a love letter for Ayrton Senna fans and one of the best tributes ever made to the medium. Aquiris took advantage of what he has on hand to turn the Brazilian driver's career into an experience for the small and colorful world of Horizon Chase with good results. In the end, Senna's legacy lives on through those who remember her exploits and now she does so through good indie.- LevelUp

This third-person shooter looks like a generic JRPG, but don't judge it by its cover, because Freedom Wars is one of the best games for PS Vita. CRISIS CORE -FINAL FANTASY VII- REUNION is another success in Square Enix's re-release strategy. It's a release that succeeds at taking an old PSP game and giving it a fresh coat of paint that leaves it shiny for new audiences. At the same time, it stays close enough to the original to be a true nostalgic travel ticket to 2007. As mentioned, there are things that some prefer about the original, but it's wonderful to have an official way to replay Crisis Core, especially when you consider how important Final Fantasy VII will be to Square Enix for years to come.- LevelUp
