A very decent effort that still feels slightly less engaging and powerful than it ought to be, Crown of the Old Iron King never feels condescending or diluted, but it lacks freshness, interest and brilliance.

Drag x Drive left me with a very positive impression. I came in with doubts about its controls and ended up surprised by how precise, fun, and addictive it can be to play with the Joy-Con 2 as if they were a mouse. Online matches are the most exciting part, especially with voice chat, and while it demands coordination and physical endurance, that only adds to the experience. With an affordable price and a concept you won’t find anywhere else, I believe it’s one of those exclusives every Nintendo Switch 2 owner should try.

House of Ashes, the third installment of The Dark Pictures Anthology, is an entertaining game with high production values, yet it wastes its potential. It is an interactive movie that could be profound, but strives to be superficial in both its narrative and gameplay. It touches on sensitive historical issues, mainly the US invasion of Iraq. It is interesting to see how the war has shaped the personality of the protagonists, how it has affected their interpersonal relationships, and how they justify their role in the invasion. All these nuances, which could present a profound discourse on human logic in the context of war, are buried under a superficial story about a curse in ancient ruins. If someone is a fan of cinematic experiences, this is a game worth trying; It is a good game to pass the time, however it had the potential to be more memorable.

A notable improvement over its predecessor, Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson offers a nice mix of visual novel with intense hack n' slash action, tons of content, great fan-service, AR experiences and online interaction. A great ecchi game.

Pokémon Sword & Shield are an experience full of bittersweet contrasts. They do several things right and Pokémon fans will have a great time exploring Galar. With that said they also have half-baked elements that feel off. I have to admit that they leave me excited for the future of the series; hopefully, Game Freak will commit to ideas like the Wild Area and Dynamax forms.

One Piece Burning Blood is an enjoyable fighting game that will delight fans of the series from beginning to end. There is a lot of fan service, awesome art and great music, but the mechanics lack polish and identity giving fans the sensation of playing just another anime fighting game.

Sniper Elite's argument is irrelevant and forgettable, its characters are poorly developed and the general appearance of the game is deficient; however, an outstanding level design and well-implemented mechanics create a favorable and enjoyable game experience.

The arrival of DOOM on Nintendo Switch is an achievement that must be celebrated by playing. Panic Button has done a wonderful work with the id Tech 6 engine that captures, most of the time, the complete and ultra-violent experience of one of the best FPS in recent time.

Flawed and outclassed, but still keeping the compelling elements that define the Deus Ex experience, Mankind Divided is a competent but lackluster effort that is outshined by its predecessor, by the original and by current competitors.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is an entertaining product, but also one that makes me wonder about everything that could have been. I'd be lying if I said I had a bad time running around Baghdad, doing parkour and turning into a shadow to take out my enemies. It was quite the opposite, there were even several moments where I felt like I was in front of my old TV with an Xbox 360 controller in hand and ignoring the history homework to better immerse myself in virtual Jerusalem. Sadly those feelings remain just that -feelings- and Mirage is unable to transcend and recapture all the magic that made Assassin's Creed one of the biggest franchises in the medium.

Little Nightmares II arrives as a sequel that delivers a dark adventure full of puzzles and feels like a journey through a charming nightmare. Being that it is so similar to its predecessor, you should also expect the same setbacks, such as short duration, clunky controls and poor replayability.

Firewatch is for those gamers looking for something fresh or a slow-paced adventure. The result isn't perfect and it's clear that the studio still has a long way to go, but this is a good game and proof that you don't need a complicated narrative to tell a story that can captivate you from beginning to end.

The LEGO Movie Videogame offers the same enjoyable formula from other LEGO games, but also some new mechanics, and every single aspect from the film, has been brought to this tie-in, including the catchy song. Having said that, the game also has new flaws when compared with others in the LEGO series, and in the end is less enjoyable than the movie.

Madden NFL 20 maintains important elements of previous deliveries, but it is still an experience of contrasts with successes and specific errors that may change in the future. Despite this, it is a good football game that will keep fans entertained throughout the season.

Even though it has a terrible control scheme by today's standards, Resident Evil 4 HD stays true to the original game, released in 2005; sadly, the HD upgrade is barely noticeable despite Capcom's best efforts to make a remarkable feature out of it.

Dying Light is a solid and consistently-designed open world experience, regardless of where Techland's ideas came from. The parkour element is the best feature of the game as it allows you to almost fly with little to no effort to either explore or fight the horde. This is, without a doubt, the best zombie game Techland has ever done.

Farpoint is weak as a shooter but strong as one of the most complete PS VR experiences. Playing it with DualShock 4 is acceptable but definitively the best way to shoot aliens is with the terrific PS VR Aim Controller. If you put aside the boring level design you’ll have pretty good shooting action with the additional challenges.

WarioWare: Move It! is exactly what you’d expect from this franchise: fast microgames with a lot of charisma, humor and fun. The use of the Joy Con is very creative, but in general, the game doesn’t do much to innovate.

LEGO DC Super-Villains is an interesting bet that can potentially transform itself into a new series within the LEGO universe.
