The Crew Motorfest is an absolute blast, offering endless hours of excitement thanks to its stunning O'ahu-inspired map and an impressive array of events, vehicles, and settings. Sure, there are a few hiccups like the occasional empty open world and wonky difficulty spikes, but if you're a car enthusiast, this game is a celebration you won't want to miss.- LevelUp

This year's strategy for FIFA 20 defines what we can call a base game, unfortunately, everything else feels uninspired except for VOLTA. This mode that captures the street nature of the game, has been a pleasant surprise and tons of fun.- LevelUp

Another year, another Resident Evil HD Remaster from Capcom. This time they did a good job overhauling the cult classic from the GameCube era. We are happy with its looks and the new control scheme but the changes made to the inventory turn it into the most tedious and slow-paced game in the franchise.- LevelUp

Super Mario Party is the game that Nintendo fans have been waiting for. It has 80 fun mini games that can be enjoyed in an assortment of game modes. Sadly, it has a couple of shortcomings ―like a small selection of games and a poor online component― that hinder the experience.- LevelUp

Team Sonic Racing is a fun kart racer that stands on its own thanks to creative and well made team mechanics. Sadly the game is far from perfect and a poor track design prevents it from becoming one of the best in the genre.- LevelUp

Rock Band 4 is, by no means, the best entry in the series. It has a limited set list and many of its trademarks were either omitted or diluted. Having said that, Harmonix improved the most important aspect: gameplay. The Freestyle Solos and a more social mode enhance the experience, making it deeper, and safeguarding the legacy of the franchise.- LevelUp

The latest iteration of Everybody’s Golf represents an evolution for the classic PlayStation golf franchise. The new character progression system is one of the most welcomed features on top of the robust online modes and the freedom it offers on the golf course. If you can look beyond the grinding, you can enjoy a very pleasant virtual golf experience.- LevelUp

The 7th Guest VR pays a fair and fitting tribute to a classic from a bygone era in the history of video games. The most delightful aspect of the package is the story, which has remained largely intact, with standout performances from its charismatic cast and well-chosen costumes. While it may not be a groundbreaking title in the realm of virtual reality design, it is an intellectual journey that challenges with satisfying logic puzzles.- LevelUp

Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior manages to stand out as an acceptable option within the hack and slash genre with puzzle elements. However, its main drawback lies in the lack of rewards, an essential element to keep players engaged. Despite this limitation, it is commendable as a noteworthy achievement by a group of students graduating with honors.- LevelUp

Even though annually released games don't often have a lot of room for improvement, Just Dance 2014 adds new ingredients to its formula and is as much fun as always. If you like to play with your friends and even go online for a little dance challenge, this game will suit you well.- LevelUp

Despite having flaws in mission structure, the core experience of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is magnificent. For as long as you enjoy the ensemble cast of well written and believable characters in an unbelievable world and you don’t care that the game barely finishes, Wolfenstein II is a game worth the time with its combination of solid and engaging combat.- LevelUp

Shin Chan: Shiro and the Coal Town is an easy recommendation for any fan of Shin chan, as well as for those looking for a relaxing experience while exploring a beautiful place through the eyes of a 5-year-old boy with a lot of imagination. The game looks great and lets you engage in various farming tasks, collect all kinds of insects, fish, and minerals you come across, and enjoy some excitement in curious races. The best part is that the signature humor of the series is present at every moment.- LevelUp

Emio – The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club is an intriguing option for Nintendo Switch users looking for a mature and dark story. The game allows players to find a wide cast of characters, any of whom might be considered suspects at any moment, and gives the chance to analyze every action and word from them to advance in their investigation. Despite some obstacles posed by its interface, the title offers an engaging experience for those seeking a memorable adventure.- LevelUp

Need for Speed certainly looks better than ever, but in the process of recovering its visual identity, it loses some of its more amusing gameplay features such as over the top chases and simple but effective multiplayer structure. Need for Speed is more about neon lights than actual spark.- LevelUp

God Eater Resurrection is a good title with solid game mechanics that hunting game fanatics may enjoy for hours. The problem is the narrative way the story is told and like other similar games, becomes really repetitive and sometimes you feel like you are going nowhere. Its new features, art and overall presentation make God Eater Resurrection an enjoyable product.- LevelUp

Far Harbor is a juicy expansion. The island has identity and its large scale means many extra hours of exploration and discovery for the fans. On the other hand, the argument feels a bit redundant and the puzzle quests are utterly irritating. A solid expansion not a refreshing one.- LevelUp

Gestalt: Steam & Cinder has all the things that make a good metroidvania; even though it doesn’t take many risks, it has a solid floor and a well balanced gameplay. The story stops the flow of the game a few times, but the great combat, exploration and progression compensates it.- LevelUp

Evolve is a good multiplayer game, but combat suffers due to the design focus on the evolution aspect of the monster. Monsters are forced to flee during 15 minutes and Hunters to chase marks on the screen rather than to hunt it down with the help of their skills and the environment. There is only so much joy you can derive from playing Evolve; it rapidly reaches a plateau and loses the thrill of the hunt.- LevelUp

Episode Aigis: The Answer respects the original content, which some will like and others don’t, but it also fixes some of the original aspects that people didn’t like about the DLC, like the lack of the compendium and having no control over your party, making it the best way to experience this epilogue.- LevelUp

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet manages to deliver a sense of freedom and has gone from being a traditional JRPG to a genuine open world game. It's nice to choose a path on this adventure, but the game maintains his linear approach through the experience. Unfortunately, it has several technical problems in that do not let it stand out. However, its is the first step of the renewal that the franchise sorely lacks.- LevelUp

Sports titles that choose to get away from reality to deliver a fantasy game often sacrifice sophisticated mechanics for more freedom in the game. The case of Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is no exception. It is an attractive game that does not seek to be a faithful portrayal of soccer, but an arcade experience. Although it takes this approach, it offers many customization options while incorporating fantasy mechanics that delivers a game system which is rewarding and sometimes frustrating and unfair due to some gameplay design issues.- LevelUp

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is not the abomination haters would want it to be but it is clear that the franchise is going through an identity crisis. Under its bizarre sci-fi concept, the campaign still has some of the core elements you would expect from the single player mode, but the overly convoluted structure of the multiplayer, chaotic rhythm, the flashy presentation of Zombies in Spaceland and a few technical hiccups will make you hesitate when calling this a Call of Duty game.- LevelUp

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection is a time capsule that honors the origins of one of the most influential franchises in gaming history. Digital Eclipse delivered a faithful release packed with historical content that lovingly celebrates the series’ legacy. However, its high price, technical issues, limited online features, and lack of deeper quality-of-life improvements keep it from achieving perfection. Even so, it fulfills its purpose: preserving Mortal Kombat’s history while offering a nostalgic experience for veterans and an accessible one for newcomers. It may not be a Flawless Victory, but it certainly lands a powerful blow to the heart of every fan.- LevelUp
