The experiment in the form of the DioField Chronicle didn't go particularly well. It's interesting to explore and see how far the player can go, but the barriers set by the authors are too limiting. As are the terrible controls on PC. [Issue#322]

Destruction is still cool, and in the end I have to give the creators credit for the fact that the much marketing-washed akedo has its moments. Everything else that made a good Battlefield is completely missing, and that chase for record-breaking size or player count is really a poor substitute for well-designed maps, rich content in the form of game modes, and certainly no substitute for the original class system that the gameplay has always relied on in the first place. The content of the missions is extremely repetitive, both in terms of gameplay and use of the same locations (with minor modifications) and even graphical assets. Moreover, the game tries to pretend to be a tactical action game, but in practice one is instead faced with chaotic action, where you lure most of the enemies from the entire level onto you after the first shot. The first installment, despite its unremarkable gameplay, at least tried. It brought the story of a man who just wants to exist, but the whole world is against him. Here, from the start, you're a nutcase in a bathrobe who shoots prisoners and cleans sewers. And sometimes he hallucinates. If there's satire, it's on the level of cops eating donuts. [Issue#319]

One could say the game concept is as vulnerable as your character. The straightforward gameplay can be refreshing under the right circumstances. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the technical execution, which sets the game back a good twenty years. Rogue Mage is an enjoyable card game that I was happy to spend a few evenings with. However, it lacks the greater depth and addictiveness of classic rogue-like titles for prolonged play. A totally unnecessary reboot. Not to say the game isn't fun. It is. Doesn't matter that the effects and magic look great, or that the art stylization is breathtaking at times, when you're standing on a desolate plain and looking into the fog most of the time, because the creators simply couldn't manage a decent visibility. This is how games were made a decade ago. The only thing I wouldn't be afraid to praise the authors for is the action, which has pace, and the magical abilities bestowed on the protagonist by the magic bracelet. [Issue#325]

An interesting idea and a great atmosphere is killed by a badly chosen gaming form that simply isn’t consistent with the concept of the film. Ultimately, you cannot play it, or watch. [Issue #268]

Calling it a waste is too rude, but I cannot imagine why would someone pay for such a puffy nonsense. Several clever moments cannot save the game, which only tries to look like a piece of art. [Issue #268]

Pointless and bad multiplayer game to put it plain – it is difficult to find any positives. Play rather the old Unreal Tournament, you will enjoy it much more. [Issue#266]

Excellently crafted game, that is, unfortunately, far from its potential. Flat gameplay and short playing time don´t outweigh otherwise above average game environment with a great eye for detail. [Issue#266]

A quite average sports game with better and worse moments, its core is based on repetitive and mediocre minigames unfortunately. You can play it, when nothing else is around, otherwise you can skip this game without no regret. [Issue#265]
