    Rather than try and make a quick buck out of cheap thrills, Dynamic Pixels and tinyBuild took the popular trope of hide-and-seek horror and twisted it into something new and creative. There is a great game buried here, as long as the development studio fixes the problems currently plaguing it... And if they can manage to really polish it, then the horror genre has much innovation to offer.

    It’s a shame the final version of Hello Neighbor isn’t what we wanted it to be. The great concept is poorly executed, with plenty of issues, ranging from the physics to the AI or the puzzle design.

    Unfortunately, only an amount of frustration and badly made game is hidden in the tempting package. For a good horror adventure, you must go elsewhere.

    despite the problems that this game has the idea and story alone sells it to me but there is an 8/10 plus game hiding here with enough bugdespite the problems that this game has the idea and story alone sells it to me but there is an 8/10 plus game hiding here with enough bug fixes polishing better controls and more time spent developing the game this could have been a horror gem there are also to many ideas it tries to juggle at once if it had picked one weather that would be the horror the mystery or the story i would love this game my overall rating is 7/10… Expand

    The early versions of this game were much scarier, creepier, and even had their own cartoonish and at the same time serious style. What happened is if one of the unsuccessful versions of the game, if alpha 2 has not changed the style of play, the game would be much better.
