Feb 12, 2018Mediocre game, imprecise gameplay, and poor artificial intelligence, goodbye neighbor

May 1, 2018Hello Neighbor is a wonderfully surreal cat and mouse game with a mysterious stranger who has something to hide in an unnervingly over constructed suburban mansion. For those who are willing to search out the truth there is a dark tale of horror that hides in this particular neighbour's basement.

Jan 25, 2018An Indie Horror well elaborated, I spent about 2 hours exploring the house, a lot that was not discovered, its gameplay is a bit bad and the neighbor has a bugged Artificial Intelligence, but, the game is in Alpha

Jun 5, 2019I love this game. It's really amazing and good optimalized. There is three bad things:
-This game is really short
-Act 3 is same like beta 4, without any bug fixes,
-It's too expensive.
Everything else is good for me. -
Jul 25, 2019The early versions of this game were much scarier, creepier, and even had their own cartoonish and at the same time serious style. What happened is if one of the unsuccessful versions of the game, if alpha 2 has not changed the style of play, the game would be much better. This game saddened me because at first it seemed cool to me, but the final version is just awful

Apr 22, 2020Very disappointing. It could've been so much better. The story is confusing, way too kid-friendly to be a horror game, too buggy, and the graphics suck. It's a little fun, but way too confusing

Apr 27, 2021I dont understand why people hated it. I played and enjoyed It. You can complete it in 2-3 hours. A great indie game.

Nov 26, 2020Tiene MUCHOS bugs.Por el resto el juego está bastante bien y la casa del vecino tiene un mapeado muy bueno
-
Nov 24, 2020The game is interesting, but silly. The plot has not been revealed. The game had good potential, the storyline in the book was good, but in the game it was stupid. In addition to the neighbor's house, other locations are not involved. The gameplay is poor. Lots of freezes, bugs. But the game is about 10 hours of playthrough.

Dec 18, 2022good ig :/
-
Dec 23, 2022This game had some decent potential from the start, but ended up wasting the popularity on a jank filled game. They attempted to add a deep and heavy storyline but ended up failing awfully. The 3rd act in this game is awful, like so bad. It includes a massive house that gives no hints to any puzzles, at all.

Jan 5, 2023seems like an undercooked game and could use more development time and budget

Apr 24, 2018Unfortunately, only an amount of frustration and badly made game is hidden in the tempting package. For a good horror adventure, you must go elsewhere.
-
CD-ActionMar 14, 2018The concept for the game is great, level design is solid and the visuals are sometimes nice but the whole thing is painfully underdone. [02/2018, p.46]

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Feb 16, 2018The game is embarrassingly simple in its gameplay, but at the same time it’s incredibly difficult due to a poor technical state and a terrible game design. [Issue#282]
