This year, Codemasters has reached another level of greatness with its F1 2019. Great career mode and improvements on the AI is enough to turn F1 2019 into one of the most memorable racing games of these past years.- Jeuxvideo.com

While in substance and form FF7 Remake remains an excellent J-RPG on PC, we can only be disappointed by the “little arms” aspect of this port. The title runs fine on a mid-range machine, but the near absence of graphics settings and incompatibility with ultrawide screens make the toll bitter. So this version does not do much justice to its support and there is more to hope for, perhaps, a life-saving update.- Jeuxvideo.com

Undoubtedly the best opus of the license released to date. In addition to the already gargantuan lifespan, further improved in solo and multiplayer thanks to a My NBA mode boosted by the choice of 4 eras, the return of the Jordan Challenge, the co-op mode in My Team and the Career Theater, the gameplay in will delight some. The former crazy dribblers are now limited online and must think collectively, the shooting timing is more demanding, but much fairer and a lot of new animations come to shake up the regulars. Graphically impeccable, taking in immersion with old-school skins for period matches, the title enters the Hall of Fame. Only gray areas, the usual desire (or even need) to take out the credit card to get more VC and advance your player, a matchmaking that is still quite unbalanced and some crashes on certain career quests. Even MJ can have flaws.- Jeuxvideo.com

Far from lazy porting, Wild Rift makes complete sense on mobile. Its intelligent ergonomics create gripping confrontations and manages to restore what makes League of Legends salt. More accessible, shorter and less frustrating, the games of this mobile version could represent a perfect compromise for players who have dropped out of LoL and its grueling games, or for those left on the sidelines by its demanding prerequisites. For others, this experience is a logical extension of Summoner's Rift and has a place on their phones. If we regret a set back content or a few missing options here and there, Wild Rift is nonetheless an exceptional mobile experience that manages to superbly transcribe the sensations of one of the greatest competitive games in the world.- Jeuxvideo.com

It's difficult to write a complete review when the great strengths of the game in question revolve around surprise. But with Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Nintendo delivers an almost perfect performance. Almost fifteen after New Super Mario Bros. Wii, this new episode reconnects the series of 2D platform games with the exceptional. While remaining faithful to it and keeping its gameplay devilishly simple and effective, it brings new ideas that hit the mark. The entire production is reminiscent of a musical comedy which never ceases to dazzle the player both in form and content. Mario is off to Wonderland, and so are we.- Jeuxvideo.com

Addictive, varied, precise, coherent, relevant, Rogue Legacy 2 serves as the ideal sequel to the cult 2013 game that popularized rogue-lite. But more than doing better on absolutely every level (classes, weapons, traits), the Cellar Door Games studio is setting a new benchmark in the genre thanks to a clever mix of metroidvania and randomly generated levels. It's simple, the whole thing works like hell. Never frustrating, always giving the feeling of moving forward, constantly reviving the pleasure of the game with different powers and heroes to embody, Rogue Legacy 2 returns and marks the rogue-lite with a red iron. One of the best games of 2022.- Jeuxvideo.com

GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon has potential, for sure. It will only take a few tweaks and additional rooms to become a highly commendable Rogue-lite. As it stands, we mainly regret the jumps that are a little too steep, and the ergonomic and questionable balancing choices. But these are the kinds of grievances that can easily be mitigated as an early access phase progresses. For the rest, it offers pleasant fights and a rich bestiary, straight out of Japanese folklore. With very solid foundations that do honor to the 2019 opus, the series innovates, bringing new gameplay, new equipment clearly welcome. Above all, the progression is much smoother - with a nice job on the system to unlock weapons! Somewhere, everything is done to welcome new players and this is a very good point. Even the third-person mode is surprisingly successful. Overall, this opus will undoubtedly lose the purists accustomed to faster gameplay. For the rest, if you want to indulge yourself with frenetic action, this is ideal. [Multiplayer Review Score = 80]- Jeuxvideo.com

Path of Exile 2, more accessible and visually appealing than its predecessor, remains a complex old-school game that will appeal to fans of muscular combat. This difficulty, which is nevertheless the heart of the game, can however discourage newcomers or people who are not used to taking their heads. It remains ideal for those looking for a long-term experience, it might not suit casual players or fans of simplified mechanics like Diablo 4. Is the €27.75 supporter pack worth it despite the future free game? Yes, because it already offers much more than some recent AA or AAA. In early access, Path of Exile 2 still promises a lot (narration, new classes, end-game content, bug fixes). For an optimal and free experience, you can also wait for the final version. This title, demanding and focused on improvement, is a worthy successor to the first opus, cut out for players ready to take on many challenges. [Early Access Score = 85]- Jeuxvideo.com

Solasta 2 is a role-playing game brimming with promise—potential just waiting to be realized—though bringing it to fruition will require time: both development time and playtime, in the hope of fulfilling the dreams of Dungeons & Dragons and RPG fans alike. More linear than other titles in the genre, it leverages its original setting, its fidelity to D&D, and its tactical combat as its true strengths. Unfortunately, the lack of freedom, the still-limited playtime, and the bugs encountered serve as reminders of its current state: that of an Early Access title. While awaiting the 1.0 release, this title from Tactical Adventures remains a passion project well worth keeping a close eye on. [Early Access Score = 70]- Jeuxvideo.com

While almost everything about Hytale is reminiscent of Minecraft, Hypixel's title manages to generate interest, even in early access. Even better, we had a great time playing it, both in Exploration mode and Creative mode (despite a few issues "beyond our control," as they say). The game, entirely dedicated to its community, has a solid foundation and already has fans working on mods and servers. There's obviously still a long way to go before Hytale reaches its full potential, but it has all the ingredients to become something special. [Early Access Score = 70]- Jeuxvideo.com

With this early access, Astral Ascent proves that it has the weapons to carve out a place for itself in the competitive roguelite genre. Thanks to its colorful pixel art graphics, detailed animations and polished soundtrack, the Hibernian Workshop title offers pleasant environments to browse. However, the fights are not left out since the game offers nervous gameplay and many build possibilities that make each run interesting. Despite everything, a few slight flaws overshadow the picture, such as problems with readability or even a lack of logical content for early access. It only remains to wait to see if the new elements added over time will allow the title to appeal to players in the long term. [Early Access Score = 75]- Jeuxvideo.com

The FPS, yet using a particularly aging engine, therefore takes all the codes of its ancestors with bravery to allow players to evolve in levels built with intelligence, to participate in joyful and dynamic clashes and to observe sublime panoramas. However, taking the old formula literally, the title is sorely lacking in identity. We will then have to face a universe that we have already crossed 100 times. Unfortunately, this is not the only problem with retro production. The title also suffers from a certain repetition, the fault of a particularly shy bestiary. In this first version released in Early Access, inZOI reveals itself to be an ambitious project, rich in innovative ideas and with undeniable potential. The graphics are stunning, and the character creator and the build mode are already very enjoyable to play. However, the game also highlights significant shortcomings, both technically and conceptually. The artificial intelligence lacks substance, and the open world, despite its size, is desperately empty and not very interactive. Social relationships, the pillar of life simulations, suffer from enormous inconsistencies and bugs that mar the experience. We can only believe in the promise of continuous improvements, supported by a detailed roadmap, which suggests a brighter future. In its current state, inZOI is a (very) rough diamond, even an unbaked cake that we can't wait to taste, but much later. [Early Access Score = 65]- Jeuxvideo.com

As it stands, Super Dungeon Maker lays a solid foundation that early access will have to flesh out for the title to reveal its potential. Quite limited at the moment, whether in tutorials or elements and sometimes imprecise in its construction mode, the title of Firechick nevertheless has enough functions to create original and slightly complex dungeons, as evidenced by certain creations of the community which was able to push the game to its limits. It only remains for Super Dungeon Maker to remain attentive to the feedback of its followers, as is already the case today and to take advantage of early access to give substance to its ambitions. For the time being, you will certainly have the feeling of having seen everything in about ten hours, but should have enough fun to make the investment worth it. Disney Dreamlight Valley has a hybrid concept that works well. Couple that with the wonderful world of Disney and you have two very good reasons to immerse yourself in it daily. But the Gameloft title is still under construction and that has something to spoil the experience (bugs, risky optimization, repetitiveness, etc.). The basics are good and promising, but Disney Dreamlight Valley still has work to do to hope to find a place alongside the greatest. If you like first-person stealth/action games that leave plenty of room for creativity and the “retro” graphic style doesn't scare you, you can try Gloomwood's early access without any worries. This Victorian “Dishonored/Thief”, with an atmosphere close to a survival-horror, already benefits from an exceptional level design, making it possible to vary the approaches widely. The desire to offer “early 2000s PC gaming” sensations is there, very clearly, with however the necessary adjustments for a title coming out in 2022. The result is a mixture of very pleasant sensations, as if our Pentium MMX had miraculously crossed the ages, and that developers continued to release games there against all odds. However, we must be aware that this early access, impeccably clean, is only a big prologue and that the best is surely to come. [Early Access Score = 80]- Jeuxvideo.com
