If you enjoyed the first Overcooked!, Overcooked! 2 is a slightly better version of that game. The online multiplayer adds some more fun, but that’s probably not enough if you grew tired of the first game. Regardless, it's a great game.- Jeuxvideo.com

Despite a quite disappointing beginning, the story of Life is Strange 2 gets more and more intense and climaxes in the final episode, which concludes an incredible adventure that lasted more than a year.- Jeuxvideo.com

With this PS4 version which skips the modding part of the PC version, Beat Saber brings a new and unsuccessful campaign mode along with some new exclusive tracks. Still, the concept is amazing, the game content is decent and the PS Move are doing great without being perfect.- Jeuxvideo.com

Metal Gear Solid Delta succeeds in its bet to bring a legendary game up to date. 21 years after its release, MGS 3 remains a masterpiece thanks to its incredible storyline, memorable characters, and fast-paced adventure that never gets boring. For new players, its 4K visual overhaul with realistic rendering and comfort options make it an excellent entry point, while fans will be delighted to find all the content surrounding this episode in a single game. But for fear of distorting the original work, Konami has kept some flaws, such as an inconsistent artificial intelligence, but above all, gameplay marked by a certain heaviness that will discourage more than one. In any case, it's hard to deny the pleasure of seeing MGS return to the forefront, hoping that it leads to a new adventure next time.- Jeuxvideo.com

Its graphic touch may have changed drastically (rightly), the Monkey Island saga retains all its shimmering and sassy aura in this episode, in particular thanks to a writing that is still as clever and a really fantastic soundtrack. Return to Monkey Island is a fresh, modern adventure that strikes a good balance between nostalgia and novelty.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is not a second-rate copy of a Link adventure. It is indeed a new episode of the saga in its own right which also has the heavy task of following Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, both considered masterpieces. Although it is less ambitious and displays a very withdrawn narrative, Echoes of Wisdom manages to offer attractive gameplay based on reflection. It is cleverly concealed by a universe that is still as rich as ever, intended for both long-time fans of the series and newcomers. It is also through its additional content that it shines, which for us is only optional in name as it encourages creativity. With Echoes of Wisdom, the legend of Zelda has truly moved into a new dimension with an episode that brilliantly brings together the old and the modern. It is, without a doubt, the essential Nintendo game of 2024.- Jeuxvideo.com

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection shows us that the spin-off series has truly come into its own, as the adventure proves remarkably solid, fully embracing the strategic identity of the spin-off series. Behind an initial approach that can be a little disorienting, its combat system and the management of Monsties reveal a thrilling depth, driven by an optimization logic faithful to the Monster Hunter DNA. It's not all perfect—some areas lack balance, the side quests remain quite conventional, and the plot sometimes struggles to maintain momentum—but the essential element lies elsewhere. With this third installment, the Stories formula matures and offers a dense, demanding, and surprisingly engaging adventure, provided you're willing to play by its rules.- Jeuxvideo.com

After an excellent campaign, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 signs a multiplayer and Zombie just as successful. These are even the best online modes for a long time, carried by a new movement system that will stick to your skin. Everything, absolutely everything has been the subject of the care of the Treyarch teams, from the gameplay to the maps, through the progression system and of course, the legendary Zombie. It's been a long time since we've seen Call of Duty in such shape, and it's great fun. An episode not to be missed, that's for sure.- Jeuxvideo.com

Once again this year, NBA 2K26 is an immersive experience for any fan of the North American league. Ultra-complete with perfectly rendered atmospheres and player visuals/gestures, fans of management and controller sensations will enjoy offline modes like MyNBA, MyGM or MyTeam. This last mode mixes NBA players and WNBA players for even more legendary team possibilities and variety in the title. On the other hand, the online MyCareer mode will be divisive with its gameplay for Season 1, reserved for hardcore offensive players who know their shot and dunk gauge by heart, to the detriment of irregular shooting defenders. Visual Concepts has managed to be even more effective this year by leaving aside the side quests to get to the essentials and give more tools for fans of player and team creation to have fun. All that's missing is a game that's less demanding of virtual currency, 2K26 being still devilishly pay-to-fast, to approach perfection in the sports simulation genre.- Jeuxvideo.com

Created with the aim of convincing players to go back to the origins of the saga, Star Ocean The Second Story R is a very careful remake which really allows you to personalize the experience as you wish. The adventure is thus explored in a much less austere manner than in the past thanks to a complete dusting of the fundamentals which succeed in updating the formula without sacrificing its authenticity.- Jeuxvideo.com

Dynasty Warriors Origins manages to make us forget the mistakes of the ninth episode to bring the saga into a new era under the sign of modernity. Thanks to rich and nervous gameplay, the fights have never been so satisfying against one or several enemies and benefit from a great variety using the eight types of weapons. The battles are also more spectacular and epic than ever against ever more numerous and lively armies. However, this does not prevent the experience from suffering from readability problems in the heart of the action. Outside of the fights, the title shines with its friendly RPG aspect and its linear way of presenting the history of the Three Kingdoms to make it more accessible. And even if we are entitled to replayability and an interesting post-game, the absence of a free mode remains a lack, especially for veterans. Despite this pitfall, Dynasty Warriors Origins has given us a great view and augurs a bright future for the franchise which has been able to bounce back.- Jeuxvideo.com

Like the other episodes before it, Football Manager 2023 has the daunting task of convincing series regulars to checkout and attract newcomers. A successful bet, for a title that is still just as complete, precise and addictive once a game has started... Without bringing any major revolution in terms of playability, this new component, in addition to playing it safe with the same winning recipe, poses when even new solid bases, with the arrival of a strong and iconic license like the Champions League and an interesting management of the supporters, until then a little left on the side. This is enough to ensure an even deeper immersion... but not to the point of offering us a major revolution.- Jeuxvideo.com
