What a slap! With this luminous shadow drop sold at a low price and integrated into the Game Pass, Bethesda sends the conventions of the video game industry waltzing away. From the waltz to Tango Gameworks, there is only one step that we invite you to take without delay. After fear, the studio brilliantly relies on ardor. Hi-Fi RUSH plays a score of all the devils where rhythm, platform and fight form an euphoric melody and without major false note. By playing on the measures but having fun in excess, this rush is our crush from the beginning of the year.

Metroid Prime 4 Beyond clearly follows in the footsteps of the original trilogy: a solid, immersive adventure, driven by a strong atmosphere, more interesting combat than expected, and truly memorable bosses. It could be criticized for its somewhat predictable exploration, a very linear structure, and a few underutilized powers, but the gameplay loop remains enjoyable once it gets going. On the Switch 2, the game serves as a true technical showcase, with convincing display modes and a wide range of control options, including a surprisingly successful mouse mode. Without revolutionizing the formula or the genre, Metroid Prime 4 Beyond reminds us why 3D Metroid remains unique and stands out as one of the most important titles in Nintendo's 2025 catalog, if not the most important. That is, provided you accept that it prioritizes mastery over risk-taking.

With splendid landscapes full of details and references for the most accustomed, this ninth expansion surprises with its simple, but effective approach. This quintessence of more traditional elements has not skimped on the novelties, including the particularly successful dragon flight and the new class and race. Of course, not everything is perfect, such as the often repetitive quests, the low screenplay challenge and the too classic arrival on the island of Dragons. However, there is an effort on the part of Blizzard to create an immersive and welcoming adventure for everyone. Dragonflight offers a haven of peace that all the heroes and proud defenders of Azeroth dreamed of... while waiting for high-level content that will undoubtedly satisfy seasoned players who like tough challenges.

Immortality is a new demonstration of the art of Sam Barlow. Mystical, captivating, Marissa is the main subject of a work of absolutely remarkable screenplay consistency, with polished shots and whose non-chronological grouping makes the whole experience gripping. And if it is true that the redundancy of the gameplay based on a simple click mechanism can prove to be heavy at the end of the experience, the adventure is nonetheless incredibly striking and controlled.

Maybe we would have liked a little more craziness in the level design and more new loot, but Fatal Falls brings just the right amount of quality content to dive back for a few hours.

A purely atmospheric experience, Season: a letter to the future is a little candy, a poem about the passing years and their memories which, strangely, transports you completely out of time. A road trip by bike made of absolutely charming encounters that enjoys excellent sound work. A must-do for lovers of short narrative experiences in which you can easily let yourself be transported.

With its mix of several genres (rogue-lite, twin-stick shooter, tower-defense), Endless Dungeon had everything to break your head. However, the French from Amplitude Studios have proven to us once again that they are capable of playing in the big leagues. Thanks to its originality, its very well-balanced rhythm and its impressive artistic direction, Endless Dungeon can be enjoyed alone or in cooperation with up to three players. And even if the runs are long and the narration lacks a bit of direction, you always want to get lost in the space station to finally reach the reactor. An excellent game which allows a very good end to a year 2023 already rich in content for rogue-lite fans.

Jurassic World is a great management simulation game, plain and simple. Smart and full of good ideas, it may not be a favorite for all the fans of the genre, the main reason being it can be too easy at some points.

For most of them, survival games shipped as « early access » are mediocre, at best. But The Forest isn’t one of them: it’s a deep, finely tuned game which is never afraid to brutalise the player.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was a great game back in June 2017 and nothing has changed since then. Xbox One X and PC both take advantage from their own specificities, making the versions the best ones existing.

With Hitman 2, IO Interactive didn’t take much risk. The team simply and smartly refined its formula, rubbing away some of the first game’s flaws. And it works: Hitman 2 is a generous and fun game.

With Jedi Survivor, Respawn-Electronic Arts takes us on a real Star Wars adventure. The atmosphere and the grandiosity of the sets go into light speed, thanks to the use of ray tracing and the power of the PS5 / Xbox Series generation. The open areas are really fun to ride and never veer into easy filling. The staging is top notch from start to finish, delivering both epic and touching scenes. The writing and the scenario even gain in thickness. Finally, we would have just liked the gameplay, certainly more complete, to be the subject of the same trajectory correction... Beyond a fairly classic start to the adventure, Jedi Survivor sticks to the skin - even after 30 hours of gameplay. An excellent action-adventure game and an excellent Star Wars title.

The authenticity and the survival, central to the experience, accentuate the urgency of the situations and this oppressive feeling of being the prey, and no longer the hunter, on Auroa.

The thriller dimension and new gameplay mechanics are blowing a wind of renewal on the series. In addition, the fighting remains intense and epic in the heart of a district of Kamurocho larger than life. The presence of French subtitles plays the role of icing on a very appetizing cake.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint follows the steps of the previous game with a great open-world TPS with enough novelty to seduce any gamer. The survival mechanics add a new dimension to the game, in which you’re not the hunter, but the hunted.
