Excellence demands excellence and Blizzard could have honored its great heritage in a better way. It remains one of the cornerstones of the strategy market, as well as an exceptional experience for any self-respecting video game lover.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Game Kitchen manages to do very well by combining video games and Andalusian folklore. They once again demonstrate their mastery of metroidvania with Blasphemous 2 by further pushing the formula of the first episode: three weapons directly integrated into the gameplay, an atmosphere that is still just as gloomy and combat that is gratifying and far from insoluble. However, those who did not catch the first episode are not likely to be converted as the evolution remains too timid in our opinion.- Jeuxvideo.com

Unravel Two offers some good new ideas and has the good taste to be equally playable alone or with a friend. But the magic can’t happen twice and Unravel Two sometimes feels repetitive and predictable.- Jeuxvideo.com

Retro-futuristic in its art direction, The Outer Worlds 2 is more retro than futuristic in its approach to the RPG genre. While it boasts a host of accessibility options and incredibly responsive controls, this Microsoft-published title is primarily aimed at Obsidian fans who see certain aging RPG mechanics as a strength rather than a weakness. That said, the numerous improvements over the first installment, along with the choices that have real consequences, make it a shame to miss out on this excellent sci-fi epic with its unique tone, whether you're a fan of the young franchise or not.- Jeuxvideo.com

LEGO Batman: The Legacy of the Dark Knight therefore perfectly achieves its goal: to serve as the culmination of everything great about Batman. It refines the gameplay of the Arkham series, packs in references to the best Batman films, and ties it all together within the playful LEGO universe. The title even affords itself the luxury of being fully playable in co-op and proves incredibly generous, featuring an open world brimming with content. This makes it the most ambitious LEGO game ever released—and perhaps even the best; dare we say it! However, this standard LEGO game formula also constitutes its biggest flaw, due to levels that are far too conventional, predictable, and repetitive—especially when playing solo. If you are a Batman fan—whether you plan to tackle the adventure in co-op or gift it to a child—it’s a resounding yes. But for those awaiting a true successor to the Batman Arkham games, this serves as a fun way to pass the time, though you’d be better off waiting to see what Rocksteady has in store for the future.- Jeuxvideo.com

As is often the case with the F1 license stamped by EA and Codemasters, the installments follow one another but are not really similar in content. Because this year, Breaking Point is back and the next F1 film are highlighted to revive the story-driven interest of the saga. Good one-off contributions, even if for the long term, we will rather remember the Career mode which goes a little further than previous years. Even if it does not really renew its gameplay and its graphics, F1 25 remains solid for an official simulation and accessible for neophytes.- Jeuxvideo.com

It's hard to sulk your pleasure in front of this Castlevania Advance Collection. For twenty euros, players can discover and rediscover three essentials of the Game Boy Advance. If the weather hasn't been so good with the SNES opus, Harmony of Dissonance, Aria of Sorrow and Circle of the Moon haven't aged a bit. So now is the perfect opportunity to add 3 great metroidvania to your collection. Too bad only one of them benefits from a French translation.- Jeuxvideo.com

True to its origins, Dragon Quest XI S is a success. We find the themes that are dear to Yuji Hori as well as the artistic direction that makes the charm of the series. Unassailable in its content, this ultimate edition does not revolutionize the formula but relies on solid mechanics. Purposely old-school but unmistakably fresh, this episode will convince fans of the genre and all those who like to revel in touching stories. However, it is totally incomprehensible that this version does not take advantage of the graphics of the original version.- Jeuxvideo.com

Yes, Monster Hunter Stories 2 has all the cards in hand to be the J-RPG of this early summer on Switch. With its original and rich combat system, generous content and charming graphics, the title offers an enjoyable experience that will keep you busy for part of your vacation. Faced with this interesting proposal, we can blame it for its very, even too classic scenario, as well as its technique which does not always manage to offer a stable rendering. In itself, nothing to spoil this invitation to travel which shines with the originality of its confrontations and the good humor it exudes.- Jeuxvideo.com

Tango Gameworks' video game proposal will be a milestone. Without ever reaching perfection, Ghostwire Tokyo marks the spirits. The 1:1 scale reconstruction of the Japanese capital, the exploration of a supernatural and urban open world as well as the ethereal combat system alone are worth the detour. Admittedly, the story is sometimes set back and a certain feeling of repetition appears at the end of the course, but these few flaws are compensated for by the very singularity of the work imagined by Shinji Mikami and his teams. Ghostwire Tokyo is indeed that long-awaited memorable trip.- Jeuxvideo.com

Its staging has steadily transported us, while its cleverly designed boss fights have us fully engaged. Only, by the time we have fully assimilated its mechanics, Olija has stopped. As soon as the last gear is unlocked, the end credits take us back from the gaming systems that were only waiting for a final level to shine brightly. We would have liked to be able to test our abilities in one final twisted climb, defending ourselves from an ambush with uncertain outcome or in a final duel at the top like Genishiro Ashina de Sekiro.- Jeuxvideo.com

Although a little marked by time, the graphics and sound improvements are successful. The magic of the title still operates as much even after sixteen years, not to mention the multiplatform side making the title more accessible. In short, whether or not you missed the original, this remaster, certainly not flawless, remains an adventure that we invite you to (re) live alone or with someone.- Jeuxvideo.com

Comfortable in the exercise of style imposed by the time loop, the artists of Arkane signed with Deathloop a very good FPS that is as interesting as it is wacky. More action-oriented than a Dishonored, Bethesda's title quickly reaches a level of depth but also of complexity that is rare even for a work by Arkane. The repetitive aspect necessarily linked to the theme of the game is intelligently lessened by the variety of situations, the chance of encounters (with Julianna) and the rise in power. Enjoying a concept of loop without running out of time, Deathloop encourages experiments of all kinds in a universe that contrasts drastically with what the people of Lyon have already produced. And it's good to see that the studio doesn't sing us the same song ... over and over.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Mr. X Nightmare expansion reinforces Streets of Rage 4's staple position by correcting rare errors in the original game. It expands the base game's cast with three new heroes (including two dedicated primarily to beginners), adds a Training mode accessible to all and a new mode: Survival. This new proposal with high replayability comes with game mechanics inspired by roguelite, the bosses of the first opus, a brand new musical playlist that fits perfectly to the universe and new environments, even if we can regret a lack of variety on this side. But this is the only big problem with this first DLC. Despite this and to put it simply: Mr. X Nightmare perfectly complements the original work and it will please fans of the genre.- Jeuxvideo.com

Silent Hill f is first and foremost a bold gamble, a reinvention that ventures into uncharted territory. It creates a persistent strangeness, deeply imbued with Japanese folklore, that is as disconcerting as it is captivating. Its clumsy combat and excessive action weigh down the experience, but its universe, its characters, and its soundscape impose a unique identity, which pushes us to scratch away its layers of mystery until the last minute. Imperfect but striking, Silent Hill f will undoubtedly remain as the episode that dared to redefine fear through the prism of Japanese culture, with flashes of brilliance that we never forget.- Jeuxvideo.com

The beginning of a dynasty? The Samoan Bloodline has ruled the WWE for over half a century: Dwayne Johnson, Roman Reigns' Fatu and Anoa'i families can attest. With The Island and an interesting open world, WWE 2K25 aims to revive its family tree. It's a milestone, but with significant room for improvement for this ambitious mode. Despite its richness, the latter lacks a map, shaky matchmaking, and a near-essential need for VC (virtual currency) to be competitive online. It's a first step toward the heights already reached in terms of lifespan: the game modes and customization options are still gargantuan enough to impress newcomers. A good omen for the future of the violent saga.- Jeuxvideo.com

With Bayonetta Origins, Platinum Games is stepping out of its comfort zone to offer a more relaxed experience, and it's succeeded. Thanks to its sublime colorful art direction, Cereza's first adventure draws inspiration from storybooks to deliver a visual rendering that retains its charm until the end. Controller in hand, the title takes up elements of Bayonetta 3 by making us control two characters simultaneously for an approach as original as it is confusing at first glance. Finally, it is especially by its well-paced progression that the experience captivates the player, alternating fights and puzzles with great fluidity, even if we tend to see the structure repeating itself at the end of the game. For all these reasons, Bayonetta Origins is a friendly and charming adventure that takes pride of place among the Nintendo Switch exclusives.- Jeuxvideo.com

Difficult to revolutionize a beast that is already running at full speed. On the tracks traced by its last two successful seasons, Football Manager 2021 is still as intense and complete to be the drug of budding sports directors. Celestial in its construction, more aesthetic in its in-game interface, the title is a bit more exuberant through the addition of interactions. 3D modeling is still the point with Football Manager's big room for improvement, and we hope that Sports Interactive will quickly pass this new milestone to mark its time even more.- Jeuxvideo.com

Dying Light: The Beast is a worthy successor to Stay Human and the most ambitious installment in the saga. Techland unleashes its bestial side in 2025 by refining the parkour and combat, and attempting to iron out several historical flaws of the franchise. The game's sense of freedom and cathartic brutality make it a perfect outlet for all fans of the genre who will take the time to contemplate a dazzlingly beautiful open world. However, The Beast is far from perfect, and suffers from certain modern ills that would have deserved to be addressed.- Jeuxvideo.com

By its proposal, Duel Master clearly distinguishes itself from Duel Links, the other free-to-play in the universe of Yu-Gi-Oh!. By focusing solely on the playing card game, the title offers a very complete experience with official rules and a huge collection of cards on all media thanks to cross-platform.- Jeuxvideo.com

Two years after the release of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, the "Among the Ashes" expansion successfully meets its challenge: to revitalize Ubisoft's video game in the best possible way, while simultaneously complementing the film's release with a parallel storyline that is meaningful and entertaining, even if it doesn't quite transcend expectations. Far from completely reinventing the wheel or transforming the experience from A to Z, the improvements and adjustments that Massive Entertainment has implemented are enough to make the gameplay vibrant and enjoyable. Beneath the ashes of the Mangkwans, a fire still burns, rekindling the flame of Frontiers of Pandora, and that's exactly what this title deserved.- Jeuxvideo.com

For a game where you embody Death, Have A Nice Death just misses posterity but turns out to be a super solid rogue-lite action game, recommended to all fans of the genre. Get ready to giggle at the setbacks of Death Incorporated, to rack your teeth at well-groomed bosses, and to have endless fun, controller in hand, with cutting-edge gameplay with varied powers. Even the art direction works wonders. Overall: we especially regret a timid level design and a challenge that is a little too full-bodied, which come to weigh down the repetitiveness inherent in the genre. For the rest, it's all good.- Jeuxvideo.com

If you like pretty gothic outfits, green fog-draped scenery, and a close relationship with death, the A la vie à la vie pack definitely has the potential to seduce you. We like the elegant scenery of Ravenwood, the selection of furniture and outfits, the reaper job that is the highlight of the pack, and the wish list that boosts the experience. Too bad some of the other additions seem so anecdotal and that life as a ghost is ultimately not that special.- Jeuxvideo.com

Subnautica Below Zero does not seem to want to walk in other steps than that of its big brother. By reducing the map or vehicles, Below Zero is more to be seen as a very good expansion of the original game, more scripted version and a little more hostile than the first episode. If Below Zero undoubtedly does better than the competition when it comes to making a scripted survival game, with a universe as enchanting as it is frightening hand-crafted, it would undoubtedly have gained more from the experience of 'origin to fully conquer the veterans of the franchise, who, despite everything, will take undeniable pleasure to go diving again, just like the newcomers, who will have the chance to discover for the first time this atypical and oh so immersive way of approaching the game of survival.- Jeuxvideo.com

A more than successful first for Blizzard with Warcraft Rumble on mobile lands. This first game in the Warcraft universe dedicated to smartphones transcribes with panache the universe launched by Orc & Humans 30 years ago. Enough to attract initiates without losing “simple” fans of mobile games since Rumble does not take itself seriously. However, its gameplay is mastered and is aimed with agility at fans of action, strategy and customization games. The game plans are numerous and we take great pleasure in tinkering, that's really the word, with each war troop linked to them. The massive single-player campaign really allows you to vary the playing styles in the same way as the dungeons, the most interesting mode of the title although repetitive. Warcraft Rumble is very good for anyone who wants to get into video games without spending hours on it. That’s good, that’s often what we ask of a mobile game.- Jeuxvideo.com

Perfect for decompressing during short sessions, the relaxed game modes will please players weary of competition and simply looking to frag in peace. Infused with the beat'em ups and platform games of the 1990s, Okinawa Rush is a resounding tribute to series like Shinobi, Kung Fu Master and Ninja Gaiden. Very neat and with a great visual and sound atmosphere, the Miller brothers' game unleashes a little uppercut. Displaying a sublime 2D and powerful animations, the title of Sokaidan also benefits from an ingenious progression system and very interesting ideas (dojo, training, katas ...). Playable in co-op, this is a little nugget that will bring back the sensations of yesteryear to many nostalgic fans.- Jeuxvideo.com
