    The game takes place against the backdrop of Gotham City, an open-world LEGO playground full of crimes to stop, puzzles to solve, rewards to collect, and surprises to discover around every corner, down every alleyway, and on every rooftop. Players can grapple, glide, or drive through the environment, zipping from building to building with Batman’s grapple launcher, soaring over the city with the Batglider, or cruising around in style with a range of Batmobiles and Batcycles.     Little personal quibbles like this aside, though, I had a lot of fun with Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, and am eager to get back into the seat of the Batmobile to cruise through the streets of Gotham once more, but with my children by my side as co-pilot. The game has a winning marriage of deep Batman lore for fans and Lego's iconic humour, so there really does seem to be something for everyone tucked within the folds of the Dark Knight's various capes and masks.     But as I should've guessed from developer Traveller's Tales' modern Lego run, Legacy of the Dark Knight is just too darn delightful to sustain a stormy mood. It took all of five minutes for the brick-based brawler to put a smile on my face, and it didn't go away for two hours of play. [2-Hour Hands-On Impressions]
