Persona 3 Reload is a superb remake of a cult classic that successfully treads the line between faithful recreation and modernisation. Its gorgeous visual overhaul, much improved audio presentation, and myriad quality of life improvements easily make it the best way to play an RPG that is just as relevant today as it was in the early noughts. Outer Worlds 2 is a smartly written, sophisticated RPG with its tongue firmly planted in its cheek. It’s hard not to see the parallels to real-world events played out thousands of light-years away, against a backdrop that is both at turns ludicrous but weirdly grounded, presided over by a cast of likable characters and a bevy of ingenious systems and branching paths that make for wildly different adventures Let me put it this way, I’m already planning my next trip to Arcadia.

Overall, Resonance was an extremely satisfying adventure and deserves its place among the genre's finest. Not enough games like this are released these days, and even if you don't play them very often, I would highly recommend taking the time to enjoy this one.

Not just a full AAA game in VR... but an impressively implemented one at that.

There is a lot to do in Borderlands 2, and even finishing the main story opens up additional quests, and the possibility to go back and pursue any side-quests that may have been missed the first time around. If there is one thing the game delivers in spades apart from its quantity, it's fun.

Overall though, it’s been a lot of fun diving back into the Arthurian legend and this darker take on it. It’s a fun game with a decent amount of polish to it. Grab it if you love Arthurian mythology or just decent turn based RPGs.

Echoes of the Fallen is a tasty little expansion that adds more of the game I love. My only wish is that they'd give us more!

Loop Hero is a textbook example of how a strong singular vision can create something truly incredible. It’s a game that is unlike anything I’ve played before and has occupied every spare thought I’ve had since I began. It’s unique gameplay blends many familiar mechanics from a variety of gameplay genres to create an exceptionally satisfying and compelling experience. The fantastic visuals and audio design masterfully complement the gameplay mechanics to feel like an authentically retro product with modern sensibilities. Do yourself a favour and check this one out.
