The Run is one of Raschid’s strongest FMV projects to date which delivers a tense, well‑acted survival thriller with sharp pacing, high production values and genuine emotional stakes. Fans of interactive storytelling and cinematic horror will find plenty to enjoy.

The Run is a fun, feature-film-length game with mystery, murder, and a whole lot of running. I was rooting for Zanna from the beginning, when she was bright-eyed and pushy-tailed with innocence oozing out of her pores. Handsome, mysterious farmer Matteo adds more questions than answers, but he’s a welcome break in watching one person run alone, interrupted now and then by masked murderers. The acting was good, but the story is where The Run shines. And the endings I found? *insert mind blown emoji here*

All in all, The Run is another excellent FMV title from Paul Raschid and his team. The performances are great, the choices present some real dilemmas, and the conclusion is satisfyingly surprising.

One of the best FMV games to date, The Run is expertly filmed, set in the gorgeous Italian countryside. Not only does it look stunning, but it's a genuine joy to play, thanks to solid acting, faultless pacing and an intriguing storyline. FMV games may be an acquired taste, but when they're made as well as this, they deserve to be played.

A filmed chase, twists and turns, and high replayability with a rich, well-crafted story and clean acting: The Run claims the title of king of FMVs, and it has what it takes.

It does have quite a bit of replayability which is always good for a game, I played through it twice and I absolutely would again just to see more of the scenery the beautiful Lake Garda, and Northern Italy has to offer.

Before its PC release, The Run was available on smartphones and even in cinemas, where audiences voted to determine the characters' next actions. I admit that in this format, watching it on the big screen might offer some enjoyment, but seasoned video game enthusiasts are unlikely to appreciate this minimally interactive story with a predictable plot twist in the finale.
