With Lumines Arise, Enhance has once again successfully updated a classic puzzle game, as they did with Tetris, transforming it into a true audiovisual spectacle, and incredibly immersive if you play in virtual reality. Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage serves as the finale for a game with an amazing track record. The new single-player content, crossplay, and rollback netcode are great additions that allow players to continue enjoying its excellent gameplay. However, as a definitive edition, it could have been improved upon by removing payment barriers.

Even with all the quality-of-life and technical improvements, you can't help but notice how outdated these games are. Even so, any veteran will enjoy Dragon Quest I-II HD-2D as good "comfort food". You won't be surprised with them, nor disappointed.

Once Upon a Katamari doesn't stray an inch from the classic formula of the series; in fact, it plays almost exactly the same. But it enriches the experience with more challenges, more distinct objectives, crazy levels, and competitive multiplayer for 4 players (including online). And all of this is sprinkled with the brand's trademark absurd humor.

Ninja Gaiden 4 is a bloody return to the most straightforward hack 'n slash. It could have performed better in terms of variety and graphics, but its absolutely insane and perfectly measured combat makes it one of the most frenetic and special action games of the last decade.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Persona 3 Reload keeps the Atlus RPG experience intact. The only sacrifice is the performance reduction (30fps instead of 60fps), but in return, you gain the ability to play it anywhere... which is greatly appreciated in a game of this kind.

Some features are missing and the campaign is greatly underutilised. Fortunately, the foundations are solid for Portal and future seasons to round off a game with a promising future.

Co-op is a perfect fit for Little Nightmares III, enhancing the series' usual strengths, but the single-player experience has suffered as a result. So, playing it solo will be less enjoyable, while playing it with others can add a few points to your final score.

The overpopulation of games as a service is evident, so it's hard to stand out, but King of Meat is a beast of its own, thanks to its creativity, a noteworthy level design and a great care for solo play. Will this suffice to stand afloat for months? That will depend of how the users react to it, of course...

Digimon Story Time Stranger Digivolves into the game fans of the series have long deserved. Bandai Namco delivers a deeply addictive parenting and combat RPG that will make the hours fly by.

The compilation tribute to Mario's 40th anniversary leaves mixed feelings. They're still two great adventures, but there's also the feeling that more could have been done, both technically and in terms of content: there are no galleries of unreleased art, nor anything for fans of Mario games.

EA Sports FC 26 manages to offer fresh, varied gameplay with a wide range of options for all types of players. It is the most polished instalment in this regard since the series stopped being called FIFA. However, the lack of new features in its game modes means that the leap to the game can be questioned much more.

Ghost of Yotei is a consummate revenge game with which Sucker Punch dares to present an open world with good ideas that come close to fitting together perfectly. Dazzling in its visuals, powerful in its narrative, and sharp in its combat. Yotei is almost as precise as a katana slash.

Pac-Man World Re-Pac 2 revives the classic from the PS2 era and updates it with major improvements. Its visuals can’t fully hide the fact that the original is over 20 years old, and the controls could be tighter, but it more than makes up for it with excellent gameplay, a challenging progression, and a great sense of humor.

More fun, bigger, sexier, and even more addictive than its predecessor, Hades II is pure witchcraft. As a game, it excels in every department, and as a sequel, it strikes a great balance between familiarity and significant new features... But I wish I could stop time so I could keep playing forever.

Final Fantasy Tactics returns in a bittersweet way: it remains a true SRPG gem, with a world, characters, and story that dwarf even current titles. But the lack of a Spanish translation, after so many years, hurts more than seeing your favorite character betrayed.

Konami has been brave in rethinking the series' setting and certain gameplay schemes, and for us, the move has paid off. Silent Hill F is a game that draws you in irresistibly and even compels you to replay it. Based on its atmosphere, gameplay, and plot, it's a true horror hit in 2025.

Dying Light The Beast doesn't reinvent the wheel or introduce changes that revolutionize the series, but it polishes many aspects, enriches others, and adds enough new features (new map, greater vehicle weight, etc.) to make the experience feel fresh, and it succeeds. And, most importantly, it's still as fun as it was on the first day.

With Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, Sonic Team delivers its most dazzling entry yet — a game that puts fun first for players of all ages, whether casual fans or seasoned racers. A bit more content could have elevated it further, but it still manages to be highly enjoyable both solo and with friends.

You can tell there's a big effort to give personality to the main fights and we are thankful for some new ideas, but all of this is scattered among some more derivative sidequests and objetives. If you got the DLC for free with your pre-order, give it a chance. If you have to pay 25 bucks for it... Maybe it's wiser to wait for a discount.

If you're into roguelikes, you're likely to enjoy DK Isle + Emerald Rush, with its secrets and unlockables, although those who don't see the appeal of this gameplay formula may find it a little lacking in new content. At least it has plenty of nods and curiosities for fans of the series.

The Star Wars Outlaws port shines on Nintendo Switch 2 with technical quality that rivals other platforms, offering the appeal of being able to play anywhere, and with better results than on devices such as Steam Deck. This port raises the bar for what Nintendo Switch 2 can do, even if it is at 30 fps.
