A strange game. On one hand we have mediocre graphics, choppy animations, a general lack of polish, and really bad first few missions. On the other hand, the campaign keeps getting better and in the end looks like a really good stealth game, there's lots of additional missions (in co-op as well) and a great multiplayer mode, that has the power to convince gamers usually avoiding online play. The new Splinter Cell, just like the new young Sam Fisher, doesn't look trustworthy, but it's worth giving a shot. The game isn't as good as Chaos Theory, but underneath all these minor issues hides a really good game.

Black Mirror III, despite grim predictions of being a repetitive game and a failure, turned out to be a really good product. The next installment of the series does a good job of continuing the tale of Gordon family's curse, explains most of the ambiguities and probably ends the whole story.

Firewatch may be too short and with some minor technical issues but an excellent visual style, interesting characters, intriguing storyline and a very original place of action more than make up for that. Firewatch is something unique enough that is worth recommending not only to the fans of "walking simulator" games.

System Shock is finally back as one of the best cyberpunk games ever. The remake looks exactly like I remembered the original, and in a world dominated by games that tend to hold the player by the hand, it is shockingly refreshing to think for yourself.

Dungeon Siege III is a game that can't be graded without upsetting some gamers. They have been divided into two camps: the game's followers and opponents, and some examples of really fanatical behavior are peculiar indeed. But when I try to describe Obsidian Entertainment's new game in a calm and cool way, I have to say "at least satisfactory". A very gripping gameplay, arcade style combat, lots of RPG elements and interesting story and characters – these are the things that convinced me.

The Scorchers DLC is a cool proposition for fans of Rage. This unexpected release from Bethesda would have been even more surprising and impressive, if it had more content. Fortunately, this DLC is cheap and offers new missions, places, a great new weapons and some minor tweaks. Some other publishers would want to sell such a product in parts and for more money. You should also remember that playing Rage on a PC now is a completely new experience. No more freezing, crashes or textures popping-up in front of you - you should give it another try, and this DLC is a great excuse to do so.

I approached Dawn of War III without prejudice - I was only curious if yet another change in style and gameplay would work well. DoW II was a shock to many fans of the original but in the end it stood tall and is now considered a better game than its predecessor. I think the same thing will happen here. DoW III is bigger and more explosive in every way and I love it.

The best quality of Siege of Dragonspear is the fact that it is a real Baldur's Gate game. This expansion is linked with its great predecessors not only by name - it fills the blanks between BG one and two and is full of RPG magic from the past. It could have been a bit better though - it's too linear and the Infinity engine is way past its prime.

In theory Anomaly 2 is a sequel better in every way, but after a closer look you can see some flaws. The game is prettier and more spectacular that its predecessor, has a lot of interesting ideas and guarantees the same amount of fun. What it lacks, is more content - the campaign is too short, and the multiplayer mode has too few maps and variations. This is a well made evolution, and not a revolution.

Tropico 4: Modern Times is a very good add-on that expands on all the possibilities of the basic game. LEGO Batman 2 is a true milestone for the series. A brick-made Batman rose up to the challenge and overtook it's predecessor by light years. The game's biggest assets are: an introduction of an open world, an interesting story and surprising plot twists. Get Even is an interesting hybrid - you'll find pieces of a walking simulator, a stealth game, a shooter, a puzzle adventure and a really well written thriller. Satellite Reign is a very good game with a few minor issues. Anarchy Reigns is a dream come true for some, and a mediocre game for others. At first glance, the game hides its potential well - the single player campaign is short and simple, and multiplayer is complex, demanding and hard to master. The game is uneven in the graphical department as well - maps are impressively big, there are some great monster and character designs, but terrible textures and a faulty physics and destruction system can put you off. But Anarchy Reigns is good at what it needs to be good at - being a great multiplayer beat'em up. Underneath some sloppiness there's a well designed game that is worth buying now, when people are playing it.

The gunfights are just OK, though. On the plus side, there's a system of crouching behind cover, like in a standard cover shooter, and a choice of several weapons that we can carry. But with the camera showing the action from above, even further away than in Midnight Fight Express, they're neither spectacular nor particularly engaging, and come down to pointing the cursor at the target. A futuristic FPS from Poland? This autumn has more to offer than just Cyberpunk 2077. Ghostrunner is a very intense "one-hit game" - you kill them, or they kill you. The 8 hours I have spent with the game provided tons of fun. I can even say that I became addicted to being in constant movement and playing with death by using a trial and error method.

The Wolf Among Us is yet another good game from Telltale Games. One major flaw is dismissing some characters - that's the reason the first season of The Walking Dead is and will be a better offering. Everything else - from the atmosphere to the storyline - is really good. Apparently Lee and Clementine's adventure wasn't a one-time high quality offer. I can recommend this game with a clear conscience.

I think this is the best musou games have to offer, both in terms of gameplay and presentation. And if you have never tried this type of game, it’s a great moment to do so - Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is a truly great game when compared to its predecessors.

You have to appreciate advancements in the visual department and lots of small but pleasant fixes in the career mode. But FIFA 17 doesn't deserve to be called "the best virtual football game". There are too many issues of different kind and this year PES is simply better. FIFA generates fun (as always) but I think the expectations were bigger.

Dispatch is a very interesting spin on the „interactive adventure” formula, and this band of super-misfits probably will steal your hearts as efficiently as the Guardians of the Galaxy or Invincible’s allies did some years earlier. And the best part: the developers have total control and don’t have to listen to any IP owners out there. This game really is a great animated series.

Splatoon 3 is simply a very good game that can be, however, considered a bit too derivative. But if I were to rate this game without the context of the prequels, the impression would be quite excellent.

Valorant is a great mix of well-known online shooter mechanics. The developers haven't created anything unique or special, but they have nailed the most important aspect - Valorant is really, really fun to play. An additional success - almost everyone has now heard about this game thanks to the controversial marketing.

Superhot made quite a leap from the prototype stage to full version and changed for the better in the process. A fair warning though, if you crave a deep storyline and don't like additional challenges or levels the fun will end quickly. But if you love first person shooters and tend to max out every game you own, you might just have found your new favorite FPS. It's original and unique and deserves your attention.

The developers haven't created a new game. Even though Global Offensive has some small innovations, it's mostly an adjustment of a well known game to today's standards. After a few hours I felt some kind of relief, that Valve kept the good old CS intact, but then something hit me. There are no radical changes – only a very obvious lifting, and this series is in trouble. CS:GO is a great game only because the original CS is a great game. If you're not a fan of this kind of gameplay, don't buy Global Offensive – it offers nothing more.

Galaxy on Fire 2 Full HD is a well made conversion of a good smartphone game. Although the game has some flaws, it keeps you glued to the screen. A fairly big amount of freedom and a very pleasant gameplay model are the game's biggest assets. You could want it to be a more complex, "bigger" game, but you need to remember, that it's not an AAA title and its simplicity should appeal to many players. If you play for no more than 2-3 hours at once, you should have a very good time – especially if you treat GoF2 as an arcade action game and not a space fighter simulator.

Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny was a great game on PS2 and nothing has changed more than 2 decades later. The remaster has the same set of good and bad things, with some quality of life changes and bonuses that will appeal mostly to fans of the series.

Tales from the Borderlands marks the return to high form after a mediocre (in my opinion) second season of The Walking Dead. The new Telltale Games production has poor gameplay, isn't very pretty, and the decisions often signify nothing. And yet again a great story, excellent characters and superb humor make you believe it's a very good game.

You should definitely pay attention to Gran Turismo 6, even though there's a new PlayStation on the market. GT6 may not have some key features present in the previous installment, but right now it's the most versatile, rich and interesting console racing game. There are some minor issues, but all in all, it will keep you entertained for dozens of hours (mainly due to tons of content and a great new driving model). It's a worthy farewell to the PS3.

Atilla is the same for Rome II, as Napoleon was for Empire - a very interesting and playable expansion. But is Total War: Attila interesting for fans of the entire series? Definitely! It's a game aimed at Medieval II enthusiasts. You get diverse factions, a correct strategy map and a great nation management system based on a tech tree and family tree. It's not perfect but it is very good.

Little Nightmares is a little pearl of a game. For a low price we get 4 hours and a really memorable interactive story. Limbo, Inside and Journey just got a new, cool friend. As usual there are some things missing but the heavy atmosphere and tons of emotions make it all worthwhile.

Rise of the Necromancer is a pricey enterprise but the return of a beloved class can't be treated as a flaw, especially when that return is really well done. The 2.6.0 patch itself deserves praise as well - new locations, Challenge Rifts and an excuse to complete the campaign one more time are clear signs of a reanimation well done.

I like Red Faction: Armageddon as much, as I like Guerilla. Both of them love to destroy everything in sight, even though they are really different games. I think that people who like previous installments of the series will definitely feel at home and should have lots of fun. Lack of an open world is compensated by a well compacted and explosive gameplay. Destruction is really absorbing and a well balanced introduction of novelties keeps the game fresh. It's a pity there is no real multiplayer but it's still a good deal for your money.

Cole MacGrath returns in style and his personal progress reflects itself it the game's quality. InFamous 2 is a sequel that develops knows ideas in a good way. The story is more compelling and expressive and our hero has some new, useful powers. The game takes us to some interesting (but a little imitative) places and guarantees a lot of fun challenges and spectacular battles. All of it would benefit from some basic tweaking – mission differentiation, city landscape upgrades and control improvements. But these faults are nothing when compared to the game's advantages. InFamous 2 is a dream come true for fans of the original and other similar games.

You could say, that the PC version of 2011 Mortal Kombat wins the battle, but it's not a flawless victory. Nevertheless, you should check it out - your keyboard will suffer from a brutal fatality, but the amount of fun is satisfying. It's a great beat'em up for solo players - the game has lots of modes and challenges, but it's also great for parties - up to 4 players can play on one machine. The developers need to control some online issues and minor bugs, and the experience will truly be "komplete".

Beat Cop is a splendid mix of pixels, old cop movies and interesting gameplay. I finished this game with a big smile on my face - the return to the cinema of my youth was spot on. Crude vocabulary and tons of stereotypes worked great thanks to dark humor. If you're looking for a cool retro adventure, you've just found one.
