Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is a good 2.5D action game with good graphics but very basic mechanics. Still, it's entertaining and prepares us for what's to come next year. We already want to try the next game in the series.

Kong: Survivor Instinct offers an interesting twist by putting us in the shoes of an ordinary man who has to rescue his daughter and not in the powerful primate side. It’s a well-executed Metroidvania based on the Monsterverse, with survival elements and a storyline focused on gritty realism. While it doesn’t aim too high, it manages to keep things interesting.

Although Bleach Rebirth of Souls is a decent attempt with fast-paced and engaging gameplay, its limited game modes may not appeal to more demanding players. Despite its flaws, it deserves a chance, as it shines in other aspects that make it unique.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake can be considered as another movie of our fluffy friend since it has the same original graphic level of the animated show. It is entertaining in the story as in the gameplay. However, the game feels very easy, since it is focused on a more childish public that does not want to complicate itself with complex mechanics.

Dustborn is an atypical narrative adventure, because it combines storytelling, simple combat and musical rhythm. It stands out for its plot, which is about discovery and current issues, and how we approach the relationships between characters. The fighting system is too simple and unnecessary. Kirby and the Forgotten Land: Star-Crossed World delivers exactly what fans would expect: enhanced visuals, reimagined levels, increased difficulty, and three new “Mouthful” abilities. New World: Aeternum on consoles gives us an entertaining experience with a variety of activities along with all that the genre has to offer, but what it provides is not particularly fresh. The archetype system and controller adaptation are the best, leading to us to forget that the game is PC-based. Graphically, it is acceptable, but there are certain details that need to be addressed.

This DLC is a great content pack alluding to this long-running series that fans will love. It has machinery, vehicles and elements very faithful to the Warhammer 40K franchise which will not be a walk in the park but they are equally satisfying. However, we are still missing a permanent checklist of the dirty parts that we have not completely cleaned yet.

It includes several of the franchise’s best-regarded titles, along with obvious visual and quality-of-life improvements. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl stays true to the series, offering a challenging experience filled with moral dilemmas, tough decision-making, and demanding but rewarding gameplay. However, the game's current state might pose a hurdle for some players due to some issues at the moment. While some initial bugs have been addressed, further improvements are expected in the future.

Madden NFL 23 is for new players and veterans alike. The game is the best experience and in each installment sadly they do not improve much. It needs a few new features as the gameplay hasn't changed. For this game to overcome they will need to reinvent it a little.

The best thing about the game is the exploration and investigation, the possibility of playing two campaigns with different points of view is amazing. The shooting is not a big deal since the enemies are not difficult and we don't have new weapons or upgrades.

Raiden III x Mikado Maniax is a game for those who like to destroy ships while dodging a hail of enemy shots. It is quite a challenge, even on low difficulties and will make us react accordingly. It has uninteresting content and graphically feels outdated in some way.

However, it still carries over many of the same issues the series hasn’t managed to overcome. Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection is a nice compilation of the first titles in the RPG Dungeon Crawler series, making the jump from Nintendo DS to Switch. They are not games for all players since their stories hardly have a plot to follow, they are very demanding games and as remasters they offer little. But we will find three games that are strangely satisfying to overcome the challenges.

The game interface has changed a lot and other not very significant things make the game fun and interesting.

South of the Circle is a low player interaction visual experience. In the game we make decisions based on the icons that represent moods. It has a very well woven plot between two different times.

The Thing: Remastered feels more like a port than an actual update, offering nothing particularly new or noteworthy. It remains a game that will push your tension to the limit with its mechanics that were ahead of their time. Perhaps improved visuals and more polished mechanics could have enhanced the experience.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is one of those games that best pays homage to the movies. Being on one side or the other will be just as fun, albeit with certain drawbacks. However, it falls short in gameplay and content. It will catch our attention a couple of times and that's it.

Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher is a simple game to control that will keep us entertained raising a monster to put it to the test against other opponents. Its simple mechanics makes it an affordable game, unfortunately this combination is double-edged.

OddBallers is a fun game if we like to have a good time with friends. Without great pretensions, the title offers a series of very interesting dodgeball-based minigames. Death Relives is a horror title that dares to be different, blending classic survival horror mechanics with Aztec mythology. A relentless supernatural entity stalks the player, creating constant tension. While the gameplay is familiar for the genre, the unique twist lies in the ability to temporarily weaken the dark god—at the cost of making it stronger later. This constant trade-off adds strategic depth. However, the visuals need more polish, and some mechanics feel rough or unrefined. Still, it's a promising and original option worth keeping an eye on.

Ganryu 2 reminds us a lot of those side-scrolling games where we couldn't blink. Gameplay is good but the levels are a bit long and the checkpoints are far from each other. It is an entertaining game even if you have to repeat a level several times.

If we manage our expectations, Avowed proves to be an enjoyable game that fulfills its goal of entertaining. However, its gameplay leans more toward action than RPG mechanics, with noticeable simplifications. Many of the tasks feel repetitive, as they’ve been seen countless times before. On top of that, narratively, it’s far from Obsidian’s magnum opus.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers brings its own unique flavor to the crowded Soulslike genre without reinventing the wheel. Its atmosphere and intriguing mechanics are part of what makes this title stand out. However, it still needs polish in the technical department, and the limited enemy variety holds it back. Even so, it’s a game worth keeping on your radar.

Outcast - A New Beginning may not be one of the well-known games but we think this is very entertaining with a decent proposal. Its sections are well carried out, although the graphics need a little work and this can greatly change our perception of the game.

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection brings the entire series to modern consoles with obvious graphical improvements and a few extras. Fans will be delighted to try one of the games from the collection that was only released in Japan, although it is not translated into Spanish and still feels like a simple compilation.

Luigi's Mansion 2 HD is one of the worst remasters ever released on Nintendo Switch. It takes us to scary gameplay and solving various puzzles that are so popular in the series with the charisma of our cowardly friend.

Undisputed is a game that brings boxing realism to video games, but it lacks polish and has technical issues. It features a complex and tactical combat system along with incredibly realistic gameplay. There aren't many game modes in it, but the most complete one is the career mode. It does well visually in some aspects, but it also contains a few small visual imperfections.

Darwin’s Paradox! is an attempt to bring stealth and suspense to a 2.5D platformer with puzzle-solving and touches of humor, which has turned out mostly well. Its core premise of controlling the octopus and its innate abilities is one of the main hooks of the game. Although it doesn't offer anything that hasn't been seen before, it is a title that deserves a chance.

Each scenario is very well represented with descriptions faithful to the theme and cleaning will not be a walk in the park due to how intricate all the levels are. A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a well-adapted horror game that is faithful to the franchise. It has a variety of mechanics and a nice setting, but despite being linear and having some level design issues, it is a terrifying and tense experience.

Revive marks the return of a classic with refreshed and well-executed mechanics, though it stumbles with a weak story and outdated visuals. Its combat system is fun and full of potential, but the lack of post-game content makes it more of a short-term experience—best enjoyed casually with friends.

Metal Slug Tactics is a game that blends SNK's classic franchise with tactical RPG and roguelike elements and it does a great job. It keeps the series' iconic features like characters, weapons, and vehicles with an isometric view. Though it has a high difficulty level and some technical issues, like slowdowns and pauses, its graphic style and gameplay are still very appealing to fans of the genre.

Deadlink is a game that challenges us with each new run we try. Those who enjoy fast-paced FPS games will find their fit here. However, it is not as complicated as other FPSs, and the Live, Die, Repeat gameplay may not appeal to everyone.

Until Dawn on PC offers good graphics that enhance the experience and immersion of the game. It will scare us and require important decisions that affect the story. Despite not needing scaling technologies, the adaptation for mouse and keyboard is acceptable. However, it is still the same game and cannot be considered a remake.

Lego Horizon Adventures is a game that shines for its visual fidelity, accessibility and customization. It is a very simple game, its lack of complexity in combat and the repetitiveness of the missions make it more suitable for a young or casual audience. We Love Katamari Reroll+ Royal Reverie is still such a wacky and oddly fun title, as long as we like this kind of genre. As a sequel it improves some aspects of the gameplay, but very short in terms of content. We are going to be quite entertained up to a certain point and that is the only relevant thing.

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage brings the iconic fighting franchise to a new generation of players, now featuring rollback netcode, crossplay, and several modern additions. Gameplay-wise, it’s the same deep, technical fighter fans have loved for years, though new learning tools make it more welcoming for newcomers. Visually, it’s the best version yet—but it’s also a clear reminder that the series is overdue for a full-scale evolution.

While Blades of Fire brings its own unique twist to the action RPG genre and manages to be entertaining, there is still room for improvement. Its main concept—weapon forging—needs a more intuitive execution, along with some gameplay adjustments. That said, it remains an interesting title, featuring a deeper story than it initially suggests and a methodical combat system that punishes mistakes.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is yet another addition to the Souls family. Like its combat, the story goes very fast, your character doesn't express himself and the performance on PC is bad. The graphic level is amazing mixed with the implemented game mechanics make this a good experience considering that you are going to die over and over again.

The House of the Dead: Remake takes us back to the arcade era with new improved graphics but keeping the essence of the original title. It is a game that entertains for many hours, especially in company. The new additions are insufficient and it doesn't motivate replayability at all.

Kao the Kangaroo is the traditional game that does not keep the glory of 3D platform games. It's a nice game with a different character that show us what we already know without anything new. Unfortunately, the Nintendo Switch version has very obvious graphical problems.

Slitterhead is an experiment that could have been better due to its ideas, mechanics, and studio. Elements like NPC possession, dynamic combat, musicalization, and a unique story fail to make this horror game stand out more and it falls short due to graphical issues, poor AI, and some technical bugs.

Synduality: Echo of Ada has improved significantly since the beta but still has room for growth. The game is enjoyable with its extraction and gathering loop, but its demanding progression system is a drawback. Combined with its lack of variety and limited mech customization, it is just a game with potential as an extraction shooter that hasn’t been fully realized.

Farming Simulator 23 is a game for those who are looking for a relaxed experience when it comes to running a farm. It continues the legacy of the farming series while introducing the occasional novelty and more than 100 real vehicles and machinery. The problem is its graphics since for Switch some things are not the same.

Charon's Staircase is a game with confused intentions. On the one hand it has a dark story that we discover as we go along, with a great narrative. On the other hand, it falls short in some aspects like causing scares and its outdated graphics, although with interesting puzzles that will make us feel like Sherlock Holmes.

Survival Kids is a simple co-op game made for younger players, but it’s not the big return many fans were expecting. It’s more fun when played with friends, which helps make the experience better. Still, older or longtime players probably won’t get much out of it beyond a few fun afternoons but (only) if played with others.
