The Aftermath is the game-version of all those movies that are brought out straight on DVD: simple entertainment to kill time with, but never anything special. Apart from the fantastic soundtrack, the game never manages to surprise.

Beaterator brings an excellent music application to the PSP which makes it possible to create some slamming tunes. It has an accessible and entertaining Live Play mode for newcomers, but if you want to create a track from the ground up, an extensive knowledge of production software or perseverance is required. Although Beaterator can't compete with professional software on PC or MAC, the low price and ability to create a mix everywhere you go makes this something worth buying. Even for seasoned professionals.

A modest effort in bringing the franchise to the DS. The fighting system works fine and it's fun to build your character. The story actually feels like part of the complete picture told by all games, a big plus for a handheld game. But the quality of the original is never reached. The missions are a bit too repetitive and the camera irritates.

Making a shooter for the DS: it’s not an easy task. Mobilized is a fairly enjoyable go at the genre on the handheld that impresses technically. Even the controls work. Still, it begs the question: who wants to play this game on the DS if you can play it on a big screen at home?

Zombie Apocalypse could have been entertaining and great. In comparison to other zombie games the developers deliver a game in which you will kill more zombies than ever for less money. It's a shame Zombie Apocalypse gets repetitive very soon though, and gives you the idea you're just running in circles. The multiplayer make up for it a little, but we can't call it more than a mediocre game.

Order of War offers enough challenge to satisfy the purists, but it’s also surprisingly inviting for newcomers. The World War II-setting is used very well and the cinematic perspective makes for a great addition. Katamari Forever can be best described as a 'best of'-collection, combining everything that make people love the series. Halo 3: ODST is a great game that transcends its label of add-on. The singleplayer is powerful, Firefight is brilliant and the extra disc with the Halo 3 multiplayer is a great bonus. The price tag makes the game a must-buy for every Halo-fanatic and a great entry point for those who are unfamiliar with the series. It remains a point of discussion if the hype around Halo 3 was justified, but with Halo 3: ODST, Bungie deserves every praise it receives.

This is the ideal puzzle game to pick up once in a while when you have an hour to spare. Wet
Wet is off to a great start. The Grind house-movie-flavor works and the music is upbeat. The first four hours fly by thanks to the gameplay and a very nice looking Ruby. But after that, it gets repetitive. There's a lack of variation and challenge. When you die, you don't get the feeling it's your fault. And at the end, you get into a boss fight that's a real disappointment. Wet is a game that really entertains for a while and after that doesn't offer enough. This makes the game ideal to pick up when the price drops, to complete it on a rainy Sunday.

Naruto: Ninja Destiny II is just like its predecessor: A poor fighting game. Again, the combat system is to simplistic, the available game modes pretty pathetic and on top of that it's a disgrace to the franchise. So, if you ever get your hands on this game, just throw it as far away as possible. Even if you're fond of yellow spiked hair and bright colored pajamas.

Blood Bowl as a board game is great, but this video game adaption is not. The bad interface and slow campaign make the game tough to get into and the steep learning curve doesn't help either.

The Conduit promises a Halo-experience, but falls short due to the fact that it plays like an antique first person shooter. The singleplayer is completely linear and repetitive and the multiplayer modes are disappointing as well. The only thing that somewhat saves this game are sharp controls.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is in many ways an improvement over the weak first game. The online-multiplayer works well just like the enjoyable fighting-system. The controls take some getting used to but fit the game once you’ve mastered them. The downside is that missions lack variety and the game has uninspired level-design. What remains is an enjoyable game that unfortunately doesn't impress in every way.

Overlord II has refreshing and well designed levels and the multiplayer modes give the game meat. However, a frustrating camera, unstable framerate and crude humour take away from the experience.

Technically, Overlord Minions isn't a bad game, but it never gets exciting and killing enemies with the stylus gets old fast. The game's visuals and static cut scenes are poor and make Minions the least interesting game in the Overlord series.

As a hack-n-slasher, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite has a ton of replay value, depth and challenge. However, the steep learning curve and the fact that combat becomes repetitive after a while, make that this game isn't for everyone. The lack of online multiplayer is a miss as well.
