The only thing that Sea Monsters has going for it is the educational value about fossiles and the knowledge that the world was a very different place a long time ago. Other than that, the game leaves a lot of opportunities untouched to really give the player some lessons. The game is just a bad experience overall and the one lesson it will give to kids is that not everything on the Wii is fun.

They managed to make a nice sequel to one of the better titles of the Sega Saturn. It looks great and the end battles are a joy to play. Too bad it's so short.

As a motorcross game MX vs. ATV Untamed would have been nice to play. But the quality of the game has really been lowered by adding vehicles like buggies and monstertrucks. These could better have been removed from the game. When it comes to graphics this game can't cope with its competitors. It's a disappointing feeling to have a game in your possession which feels like an oldy.

If you are in possession of a Wii, then you already own a better boxing game than Showtime Championship Boxing will ever be. It's called Wii Sports. Showtime is just not fun to play and extremely shallow. Save up for something more meaningful.

On the Playstation 3 Unreal Tournament III has become a great game. Even without a keyboard and mouse combination, the game stays fast and precise like the gameplay has always been. The adding of mods within consoles may be called unique. Unreal Tournament III is an excellent shooter which will keep PS3 owners satisfied for a while.

Mixed feelings about this game. On the one hand Petroglyph is trying something new with totally different factions, but on the other hand it's not executed very well, a missed opportunity!

It's unlucky that Nintendo already achieved the same results with Wii Sports Bowling. High Velocity Bowling is mainly the same. Throwing a ball with the Playstation controller simply isn't as smooth as the Wiimote. It's not that the game is unplayable. You just have to get used to the controls.

This game is without doubt a very decent beat 'em up that will occupy you for several hours. The small changes in this sequel don't make this the big hit that the Wii could have used this early in the year, but anyone who takes pleasure out of fighting games and anime will have fun with this. Owners of the previous game have got to ask themselves if the online mode and a few new characters are worth the purchase.

Puzzle Quest is without doubt the best puzzelgame on the Wii. The different elements from various genres come together here to create a very unique product. The game is long enough to offer value for your money, but it is a shame that the online-mode is missing.

Magic Made Fun is a nicely worked out magic game which uses NDS as its medium for tricks. The game itself doesn't go very deep, but the 30 playable tricks will amaze many friends. Although the box is totally dutch, the game itself is English which might get a negative response from players. If you like magic, this game is definitely something for you.

Rock Band is like a new graphics card. The card has fantastic power and has everything you'd want, but the incredible high price in Europe makes for a difficult choice. Will you go on with the purchase and rock out this summer or wait a few months for a better version?

Ghost Squad is a short and Arcady kind of shooter that is pretty nice. But the price is too high for the normal graphics and thin content.

Square Enix seems to have put considerable time in the development of Revenant Wings. You notice that right away from the quality of the graphics and music. We would have liked a deeper fighting system, but since this is a handheld game, it might have been the right choice to keep things simple. We're sure fans of the franchise will have a great time playing this and newcomers will have no problem picking this up.

Geometry Wars: Galaxies is a fun new version of a very addicting game. The addition of the higher price, however, might be too much for the extra content that is added in the game compared to the Arcade-version. It doesn't mean Geometry Wars isn't worth some money, because even though the concept is simple, it remains one of the most fun games of recent years.

When you first play Time Crisis 4, you get the feeling it's basically all the same. It's not until further in the game that you get a nice new gaming experience. The game is a succesfull conversion to the console, but the arcade style hasn't changed since the first game of the series. Also the high price of the game might be a reason for many players not to buy Time Crisis 4.

Trauma Center: New Blood is everything that Second Opinion was, only a little bit better. All the operations are fun and challenging to do and the extras and adjustments offer enough new gameplay elements that it justifies a new game instead of an add-on. Just beware of the difficulty setting, that only a true doctor will enjoy.

Contra 4 is a respectable comeback of the series to its original form. The game brings good memories and is something every gamer should have played once. It might be difficult in the beginning, but once you get the hang of it you will be rewarded. Not everyone will like the game, but those who do will enjoy one of the best times in their life.

Heroes 2 seems to be very limited. There is some fun to be had in the arcade-mode in singleplayer, but it lacks the option to play through with a friend. The game is the first online shooter for the Wii, and 32 players simultaniously at that. In combination with the excellent controls, Heroes 2 is a recommended purchase until the real shooters arrive on the system.

This game is meant to be played with three other people. With two or on your own, it is a boring affair. With 1800 different questions and a bunch of moviescenes, you can definitely have fun for a few nights, especially if you and your friends are movie-lovers. If you're not that much at home with the cinema, this game isn't meant for you.

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn makes its Gamecube predecessor even more perfect on the Nintendo Wii. Nothing has really changed, but even on the Wii the game is still fun to play. With 38 missions, 72 characters and one hell of an in-game challenge this game really is worth the trouble. Especially if you like tactics.

Battalion Wars 2 is, just like its predecessor, a decent game which has good online functionality next to its single player mode. The controls are smooth and the developer has made its own graphic uniqueness. The largest disadvantage about the game is that everything could be a bit more challenging.

NBA '08 is not comparable to the quality of the other basketball games out there. The developers probably had the right intentions: they want to educate youngsters about the changing environment. It's just too bad they only focussed on that and failed to offer anything resembling a good game. The graphics are plain offensive and you never really feel like you're in control.

Jet Race isn't for everyone. There are some weak points that will irritate some players to no end, like the grading level design and lack of Bongo-controller support. There's nothing better than Mario Kart, but if you can see through the negatives, you might find some entertainment here.

Balls of Fury is already one of the worst games of the year. The storyline is uninspired and the boring gameplay and outdated graphics make this table tennis game a real disaster of a game. Fishing Master is a game with quite a few negative points. Mainly the fishing is just horrible. Fishing with the Wii-Remote and the Nun-chuck is simply boring. Once you how to do it, it's all basically the same. The only advantage to the game is that you're able to buy new fishing rods and lures and join tournaments. But it doesn't compensate for the fishing system.

Naruto Shippuden Ninja Council 3 European Version is a big disappointment in every way. The platforming doesn't work and the fighting system is shallow. The low production value, dull multiplayer and a short story mode result in a game that should be avoided.

ATV Offroad Fury 4 isn't such a bad game. But it's clear that the game hasn't brought anything new. The core of the game is solid, but graphic wise the game isn't able to cope with the latest generations. Although we have to keep in mind that this is still a Playstation 2 game. The Story Mode is great and enjoyable, but they could have left out the Freestyle Mode of the game.

It's clear that Supercar Challenge tries to compete with the big boys. The game just doesn't achieve that level. Every good element in this game has its con and this doesn't help the overall quality. Still, the racing-experience can't be classified as bad. The game delivers on the feeling that you drive some of the most powerful sports cars in the world, and perhaps that's the most important thing of all.
