BioWare set the bar quite high for themselves with the Dragon Age: Origins. With big-but-subtle changes, the developer tries to address a larger audience with the second game, but this doesn't mean that these changes aren't fit for the hardcore demographic. On the contrary, Dragon Age II keeps the deep RPG-elements and the gratifying story that turned the first part into such a well received game.- Gamer.nl

Cities in Motion is an innovative and well thought through tycoon-game. By putting the focus on the managing of public transport in the cities, the game distinguishes itself from other tycoon-games. The concept has been worked out well as a whole, but the balance in gameplay could've used more refinement.- Gamer.nl

The over-the-top racing game, MotorStorm: Apocalypse, convinces with its spectacular concept. The game definitely shines as a multiplayer game, whether it's splitscreen or online. It's too bad though, that it doesn't play as well as its predecessor and the artificial intelligence of your opponents and arbitrary crashes will get your blood pressure to rise significantly from time to time.- Gamer.nl

De Blob 2 is a platform adventure game in which you paint grim looking locations in all sorts of funky looking colours. Its luscious details and graceful design make it pure eye candy. This action-adventure game offers a perfect mix of gameplay elements, although each of them separately come of as a bit stale. Combine this mix with an intriguing story, and you'll end with a meal that'll fill you up the brim, which will likely be toppled by the delicious HD-dip sauce that comes with it.- Gamer.nl

The title of the game is pretty misleading. You'd expect a spectacle, but what you get is a generic arcade racer that could use a little more spunk. TNT Racers isn't incredibly bad, but it definitely isn't a game that will stick with you for long.- Gamer.nl

It shows that Nintendo tried their best to do something new with the Mario vs. Donkey Kong franchise, which didn't pan out as hoped for due to a lack of a decent challenge. The level-editor makes up for a lot though, because it allows other players to challenge you with their creativity.- Gamer.nl

Killzone 3 might miss an abundance of multiplayes modes and the singleplayer isn't perfect. But that shouldn't stop you from buying this game. As an experience Killzone 3 waltzes over pretty much all of its competition of the same genre. Guerrilla knows what makes Killzone different from other shooters and combines those elements with some refinements in its controls, variation and style, which makes Killzone 3 into what it always should have been.- Gamer.nl

It seems almost impossible to not have a special place in your heart for Bulletstorm. People Can Fly could have spent more energy in creating a more substantial multiplayer, but the singleplayer and Echoes-mode make up for a lot, if not all of it. The unique gameplay, ballsy humour and colourful environments make us take our minor griefs with the game for granted.- Gamer.nl

Zombies aren't seemingly unhealthy looking people for a change. They have been replaced by purple blocks, which don't make them any less terrifying. It doesn't matter if you have graduated from the traditional Street Fighter-school or if you don't know the difference between a Hadoken and a Dragon Punch. Fable III shows how much responsibility one has when becoming a king in a time where industrialisation has a grip on the world. This makes the game relevant without losing the subtle, funny vibe of the series. This makes the game the best Fable-game up until now, even though there are some niggles from previous games still present here.- Gamer.nl

Super Meat Boy is a big, scary game but serves its challenges in sweet portions. The fact that you can die anywhere, anytime makes this a good challenge, but the balanced controls ensure there's no frustration involved.- Gamer.nl

MMA has enough moments that are worthwhile. It's just too bad that EA hasn't learned from the strong and weak points of the competition. The controls aren't always working properly and the number of modes are a little on the thin side. However, true MMA-fans will be able to ignore these faults.- Gamer.nl

Sonic Colours is a beautiful and challenging game that both old Sonic-fans and newcomers will appreciate. The problems with Sonic and having freedom in three dimensions remain, but you'll soon forget those parts when you're flying through 2D-levels at full speed.- Gamer.nl

The PSP-version of EyePet could have been a good game. Instead, it is a crippled one, with a small collection of uninteresting mini-games.- Gamer.nl

Dance Central shows what Kinect can do for gaming. The gameplay is forgiving enough t o ensure even players without any sense of rhythm stand a chance, and the Break It Down-mode can teach virtually anyone the dance moves required. The menu controls need some work, but even the sporadic problems with recognizing more subtle moves, the fun isn't spoiled.- Gamer.nl

After Midnight is all about going out at night. Sims-players who love the social aspect of the series will feel right at home with this expansion. Players who like vampires as well.- Gamer.nl

Kinect Adventures is a typical tech-demo that comes free with new hardware. It's instantly fun and demonstrates what Kinect can do, but you've seen everything in an hour and it won't take long for you to stop playing altogether. It works though, and for that it's already a fun little game to have. Make the sequel a bit longer and more varied, please.- Gamer.nl

Bloody Good Time is the spiritual successor to The Ship. It maintains its quirky style of action and strategy combined with a Sim-like gameplay. At its current low pricepoint it's hard to pass up on.- Gamer.nl

No Heroes Allowed continues on the foundation that has been laid by its predecessors and gets better with every release. The game isn't very accessible, but when you like a head spinning challenge, you certainly have to give this game a chance.- Gamer.nl
