"Bouncy physics" aside, Dead or Alive 6 is first and foremost a great game, with an absolutely fantastic fighting system and superb graphics. It falls a bit short when it comes to its online modes, but this is balanced out by the wealth of the offline content.

Ground Zero offers a generous amount of content, with large maps and plenty of replay value. However, it often leans toward quantity over quality. While the level design is solid, movement feels clunky and oddly favors tank controls over modern ones. On top of that, its puzzles, enemies, and setting play things too safe, relying heavily on nostalgia.

Deliciously full of tribute to the source material, hardcore gameplay layout and charming ideas for the connection of the past with the present, but also hindered by low budget technical implementation and slight inability to meet the creative writing standards of its original creator. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a tired FPS following the tired 'open world template' that Ubisoft seems to apply across its major releases. Red Faction: Armageddon is "digital playground" with some amazing toys, like the Magnet Gun and the Nano Forge abilities. There is no "open world" gameplay this time around, but the new, linear environments make this 10-hour long Campaign much more interesting. On the downside, there is no competitive Multiplayer and the survival-like mode, called "Infestation", won't provide enough online hours.

Lords of the Fallen more than meets our expectations offering a vast and intricately designed world in the same vein as the first Dark Souls. It doesn't reinvent the wheel but this doesn't stop it from being one of the best, if not the best, soulslikes not made by From Software.
