These two additional years of development will have made an excellent motorcycle game. TT Isle of Man 2 is more successful on all fronts. It is above all the new content and the additional features of a real Tourist Trophy season that gives it a more ecumenical aspect. You no longer need to be an insider and a fierce competitor to the Isle of Man event. You can now discover this event gently and progress step by step with a real evolution curve. The fact remains that its demanding handling puts you to the test, so that you can enjoy all the pleasure of both finishing a race, but also being in good standing.

The PS4 version of Attack on Titan is true to the original anime. The three dimensional maneuver gear feels amazing and it is a real blast to fly around the maps and slay titans with our swords. Sadly, the game is quite repetitive and lacks real challenges in order to be a must-have for the platform.

While it is not perfect (scenes can be a little hard to read sometimes), Anarcute is a cute game based on a concept that is both fun and fresh. And even though it takes place in a cartoonish world, it manages to transport the player in the cities where the missions take place. If you don't know what to play during one of those long summer days, you could do a lot worse than giving Anarcute a shot.

Here's how to sum up Mafia II : 12 hours of repetitive, linear missions, with but a few gameplay mechanics. Shoot, drive, punch, a tiny little bit of stealth, that's it. There's nothing more to be done than to follow the unfolding of the plot, which is clearly sub-par, especially when considering how easy it is to watch a rerun of The Godfather or a season of the Sopranos instead. Replay value is nil, there's no multiplayer. You can't even roam freely in the city after the ending (what for anyway, one may ask). Combat is way to easy, cars don't provide much thrill. In the end, Mafia II is a very pretty box, but an empty one. 80% of what has been developed doesn't serve any real purpose. The rest isn't enough to make a great game. If you're a die hard fan of the 50's atmosphere (nicely rendered), and the Mafia genre, you might still enjoy it. Otherwise...

WRC 10 is not a bad installment in the series, with its fair share of welcome novelties. The 50th anniversary mode finally allows you to take advantage of the discipline's old glories, and while we would have liked it to have been more fleshed out, it still makes an act of presence. The stable manager mode is also welcome, although it is still not understood why you have to end the previously mentioned mode in order to be able to access it. Undoubtedly the most striking feature is of course the arrival of the choice of tire allocation for the rally, which adds a good layer of strategy in certain events including the Monte-Carlo. Unfortunately, we feel that COVID has had its work, whether it is the proposed rallies that are no longer really in line with the 2021 calendar, more technical aspects of the game that have not changed a bit. Do not forget either that the license will change creamery in 2023, from KT Racing / Nacon to Codemasters / EA. This WRC 10 is therefore the penultimate opus of the French studio which will still have had the merit of bringing the series out of the mediocrity in which it stagnated, during the time when Milestone was in charge (the Metacritic ratings are from 80% on average during the Evolution Studios era to 60% during the Milestone era)

Batman: The Telltale Series Episode 3 is the least interesting episode of the bunch so far. Luckily, the story picks up at the end and it looks like Episode 4 could be one for the ages.

With its touching story about this aspiring little writer girl struggling to process her feelings, Lost Words reveals to be a mostly narrative-driven experience. The concept of magical words is quite interesting but in the end, there isn't one obstacle in the player's path able to bring some tension in the game. Yet, the adventure of Izzy and its paper alter ego might well soften the most hardened hearts.

Puzzle Quest 2 changes a lot of things from the original. Sadly, despite some brilliant ideas introducing variety in the gameplay, and a basic gameplay mechanic that's as addictive as ever, the overall lack of narration and story consistency make it, albeit more intimate, harder to dive in for prolonged sessions. The new, closer-to-the-hero perspective may be more RPG-like, but the conquest aspect of the original was a motivation that's a truly a regrettable loss with this new formula. What matters in short games like Mafia The Old Country are memorable scenes, plot twists, and good ideas. There has to be something that sticks in your memory. In this case, what we'll remember is the unusual setting, some endearing characters, and the last third, which may be a little all over the place, but which shows us that Hanger 13 has resources and knows how to keep us on the edge of our seats with palpable narrative tension that grabs you by the gut and fast-paced gameplay. So why isn't this the case for the whole game? Mafia The Old Country isn't bad, it's good but just too conventional to stand out and will struggle to be remembered, unlike its predecessors. Like the Exclusion Zone of Chornobyl Zone since 1986, STALKER 2 seems like stuck in a time bubble that ignores current industry standards. With the exception of a very beautiful artistic direction thanks to a cleverly exploited Unreal Engine 5. We indeed find everything that made the success of the franchise in its time. Namely a fascinating open world to explore, albeit extremely oppressive which requires nerves of steel. The title may, however, put off newcomers who are not used to such a demanding experience, but will reward a hundredfold the most courageous ones ready to venture into it. We also appreciate the care taken in an intriguing story to follow, dictated by our choices. Despite several flaws that could break the pace or an otherwise impressive immersion and the presence of some more or less annoying bugs, STALKER 2 has come a long way. The 14 years of waiting for an unexpected return in such solid form deserves, in our opinion, to salute the determination and the deep testimony of love of GSC Game World towards this iconic license. As inhospitable as it is, the Zone tentatively invites us to get lost in it for hours of pleasure mixed with anxiety. It is especially on the multiplayer side that there is much to say. The good idea is to take the gameplay of Modern Warfare to the letter, or even too literally, because this brings the flaws of the title of Infinity Ward. Activision doesn't want to jostle gamers, offering content that has been seen and reviewed for years while adding a few well-felt niceties like Champion of the Hill mode. Clearly, the multiplayer is a bit above Cold War, would be only in the sensations controller in hand and on the gunplay in a general way. It captivates us with an intrigue that manages to surprise us, even when we think we've got it all figured out... It's a very appreciable tour de force that should leave a strong mark on the IP as a whole. The lore is growing and new possibilities seem to be opening up for the future. Of course, not all the features are perfect. The game is beautiful, without being overpowering, and bears witness to technical limitations that Deck Nine will have to correct in future iterations to demonstrate that it is capable of surpassing itself and taking the license even further. In any case, after this new installment, the Life is Strange IP could be approaching a tipping point in its formula and approach to writing. Good atmosphere, decent production values, a lot of content and humor, funny puzzles, well implemented platform sequences, light combat : that's a lot of pros to make Traveller's Tales' developers proud. Yes, LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean is a rather fun title. But when will this saga revise its basics and innovate? With more than 5 games in the franchise, it may be time to consider that fans may very well like some new blood.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Splintered Fate is a pleasant surprise on Nintendo Switch. Some might say that it's simply a copy of Hades, only not as good as usual, but Super Evil Corp has done a good job. It's a nice new entry in the ninja turtles universe, but marry by performance issues and graphics that don't do justice to a console.

The Switch port of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is the most complete to date, thanks to the Switch's various gameplay styles and its motion controls. This version also benefits from allowing two players to play together on either a TV or the Switch's screen.

With HarmoKnight, Game Freak delivers a very nice rhythm platformer. Its only real shortcoming may reside in the lack of identity of its jazz, rock or samba tracks; none of them really stands out.

With its intriguing universe and vertiginous aerial combat, Freedom Wars seemingly possessed all the weapons to win the battle of the monster hunters. But the narrative is slowly being pushed in the background by the repetitive flow of missions required to craft more and more powerful equipment. Fortunately, the gameplay is both sharp and deep thanks to the polyvalence of the thorn, which opens a tactical approach that perfectly gets into cooperation, multiplayer representing the main reason to take part in these never-ending conflicts.

Just Cause 3 could have been so much more than it is. Even though the action scenes and the destruction are fun, the game is dragged down by its faulty AI, its bugs, and its framerate and loading issues. Just Cause 3 is enjoyable, but only for a little while.

Fatal Frame Maiden of the Black Water in 2021 is just a port of the 2015's game, with nothing more than a few outfits and a Photo Mode. If you want some scary experience before Halloween, or are a fan of the franchise, you'll get exactly what you are looking for, with the same camera issues and a few technical hiccups.

True to the series' heritage, Kirby Star Allies asserts its apparent simplicity through a candid, somehow heartbreaking scenario, a vibrant artistic direction, and a sweet gameplay fundamentally built for conviviality, with enemies that can also become skillful buddies once befriended. This amicable approach creates sympathetic cooperative operations and wonderful sequences of grouped transformations, but it results in a constrained, hence linear level design. While the new powers reveal interesting and potentially overpowerful teamwork synergies, those are only exploited into the rather short additional modes. More generosity, imagination and even boldness were expected from this moving, then ultimately nostalgic adventure.

Oxenfree II : Lost Signals is a great follow-up to the first episode. The characters are great again and the game seem to still be master at portraying them. However the game lacks ambition and comes out a little bit too late maybe. We would have loved Night School Studio to try something news while still trying to link both games.

Project X Zone 2 is a lot like its predecessor gameplay wise. And it's clearly not the most challenging Tactical-RPG available. But what the game lacks in difficulty, it more than makes up for in fan service. The game's cast of characters is incredible and its dialogue is both full of references and funny lines. If you love Japanese video games and their history, you'll probably love Project X Zone 2.
