Blazing Beaks can be best described as a roguelikegame that's full of mysteries and secrets, and one which works marvelously whether on a solo or multiplayer level. It also features a delightful looking art style, so its randomly-generated levels can be enjoyed thoroughly in all their glory. It's a game that works like a charm and plays like one too.- FNintendo

Adventure Bar Story may not seem like a monumentally ambitious title but it strikes a good balance between an RPG and a management simulation. It’s also rather fun to prepare meals and while some tasks may become too repetitive, it’s still an addictive experience.- FNintendo

King Oddball manages to be unique an interesting amidst all the lookalikes. Thanks to its variety, different game modes, progression and well designed difficulty curve, King Oddball does a very competent job at keeping the players entertained and even if it will not convert the non-fans of the genre, it will be a good company during short gaming sessions.- FNintendo

Kamiko is an accessible and well-designed experience that will put its players frantically trying new tactics in order to finish the game as quickly as possible. This might not sound very groundbreaking but Kamiko certainly provides incentives to its players to try to complete it in a shorter time and its challenging nature means that those who pick it up will have something they can spend some fun hours with.- FNintendo

StarBlox Inc. goes for a mix between puzzler and brawler that while not entirely unprecedented, is certainly welcome in the Nintendo Switch, where puzzle games had been going through a period of stagnation. Onimusha Warlord is a classic that is easily recommended for fans of survival horror games with a samurai-related plot component. Not too reliant on its plot, the gameplay is accessible and fun, featuring some well thought out puzzles and a good environment, despite its rather short length. If anything, it makes the player want more from this delivery and hope the next one will be more ambitious.- FNintendo

Blade Strangers brings together a series of characters that might not seem like they fit well in the same game but the result is a surprisingly fun fighting game, with good control mechanics and a welcome variety when it comes to the fighters. Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark does not reinvent the whole tactical RPG world but it surely does a very good job at some of its main aspects, namely at customization and at giving a whole lot of reasons for the player to look at the screen with all its gorgeous elements. Kill la Kill: IF feels like the animation series that it's based on has been transported to a fighting game, right down to its lively characters and plot. Yo-kai Watch 2 may be too similar to the original at some points but that's not an obstacle in the way of this being a quality sequel that delivers on what is expected or even towards becoming the best game of the Yo-kai series. The Touryst, a relaxing adventure, if that's possible to do. An adventure with dungeons and puzzles in the background of a lovely summer holiday, with gorgeous graphics and a varied, relaxing gameplay is what comes in this package and it works remarkably well. Hellmut: The Badass from Hell is an experience that will make the player go through a demanding, difficult adventure rich in characters and items, as well as in its replay factor given that the levels are generated on a procedural basis. The game may not be up everyone's alley, as its slow pace may put some players off but this is a successful and interesting game of an unusual genre in consoles that is well worth of the players' attention.- FNintendo

Vampyr brings a very well executed gothic and vampirical atmosphere to the Nintendo Switch, which sits really well with the game's outstanding plot and narrative developments. The game could do much better when it comes to its long loading times and sometimes unstable performance but these are not factors that end up harming an overall experience of interesting exploration and involving plot choices.- FNintendo

Translating M.C. Escher’s mind-bending works into a game leads to The Bridge, a game whose puzzles, mechanics and visual presentation fit perfectly into the artist’s legacy. It does exaggerate on its difficulty level, which can make progression too demanding for many players.- FNintendo

Simple, psychedelic and effective, this is how one can sum up Cosmophony, the latest rhythm game to hit the Wii U's eShop catalogue. Its gameplay mechanics are very well implemented, which makes for long hours of fun topped by its sometimes too punishing difficulty level.- FNintendo

Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York is a visual novel that follows in the footsteps of a previous game dedicated to a vampirical story and this new chapter on the Nintendo Switch is a marvel when it comes to its gorgeous art style, a skillfully-written plot and its incentives to play again once finished, in order to discover its world with different characters. While its experience is rather short and ends abruptly, fans of visual novels will have plenty to wrap their minds around in the form of Coteries of New York.- FNintendo

It’s true that Mercenaries Saga 2 is not a trailblazer and does not reinvent the wheel of tactical RPGs, its main virtues lie elsewhere: it acts as a very welcoming starting point for those who have just awakened to the genre and its battles offer a wide variety of interactions that are certain to satisfy the enthusiasts who like to fully explore their games.- FNintendo

Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! represent a different line in the Pokémon series. Reflecting a more accessible take, these two games make the experience more open to new players, while keeping several nostalgic and legacy factors intact for seasoned veterans. While not all is a resounding success, namely when it comes to its limited online component, uninteresting motion controls and an overall level of challenge that is below expectations, some of the games' new elements are more than likely to bring a fun, enjoyable time to players of all backgrounds.- FNintendo

Spy Chameleon is an accessible puzzle game that departs from an attractive premise. While it does not stand out clearly above everything else on the market, it does have a wide array of levels and welcomes players of any level of experience.- FNintendo

All this cannot save it from being covered head to toe in the usual JRPG clichés, with flat uninteresting characters and very a predictable plot. Had these structural issues been addressed, Stella Glow could be a landmark in the 3DS catalogue. Instead, it's held down to being just a good game which doesn't fulfill its true potential.- FNintendo

Team Sonic Racing is a fun, competent and well executed kart racing game that could benefit from being more ambitious but overall, it does very well what it proposes and acts as another good example of a game that gathers a cast of characters from one of SEGA's most popular universes.- FNintendo

Bulb Boy is a competent effort at creating a game with a horror atmosphere and which features a very interesting light mechanic that fits very well on an overall well executed presentation. While it may be too linear and have not enough content to please everyone, this is still a game that is worth exploring.- FNintendo

Never Alone offers an average experience as a platformer with puzzles to solve but it's the game's narrative and tribute to the Inupiat people that makes it stand out as a unique experience. A perfect choice of artwork and use of cultural traits contribute to make Never Alone an insightful work which can also be enjoyed as a game.- FNintendo

LEGO Jurassic World brings what is expected from the LEGO series to the world of Jurassic Park in an effort that features plenty of humor, amusing moments and a co-op mode that proves just right for a fun two-player experience. Even if there are no significant new elements in this work, LEGO Jurassic World certainly does a good job at providing an enjoyable experience like other LEGO games have done.- FNintendo

Disney Magical World 2 follows the footsteps of its predecessor and plunges the payers into the Disney universe, where many familiar characters and locations await. It displays a healthy variety of landscapes and NPCs and a matching audiovisual environment but while the youngest crowd will certainly enjoy this game, it feels too repetitive and too much alike its predecessor, with little variety to set it apart from the original.- FNintendo

My Memory of Us does not follow the typical story-telling mechanisms and it dares to venture into a background plot that not many games would step into. Its original and unusual story-telling make this a rather unique effort which might not be the most exciting for players looking for a thrilling challenge but it does a very good job at delivering a unique experience.- FNintendo

Tumblestone is a magnificent puzzle game which visibly stands out as one of the best titles of the genre in the Wii U catalogue. Pity the disproportionate gap between its gameplay and its visual and sound components, as well as its cost, as these flaws prevent it from being even more of an indispensable option for any Wii U player.- FNintendo

Type:Rider is an original and even surprising experience. While not a classic action-platformer or even a classic puzzle game, Type:Rider's main assets are its originality, game design and informative character as it takes the player through a compact version of the history of typeface. Pity it cannot last longer and offer a more user-friendly format for its very informative texts.- FNintendo

Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk features engaging and complex gameplay systems, as well as a combat that is fast and compelling and more signs of quality in a production of this level. While those who are not into JRPGs will find it difficult to appreciate this game, those more versed in the genre will see here a quality and good performing game.- FNintendo

Fairune 2 is a sequel that follows its predecessor on all the right tracks, keeping what made the original a pleasant experiences and extending its lifespan. What works for some might not work for all, though, and for players looking for something more groundbreaking than the original this will not deliver, which does not mean that its creative combat system and rich audiovisual component will fall short of the players' expectations, because it won't.- FNintendo

Thanks to its action elements and especially to its time mechanics, Time Recoil is an interesting game that brings an original and welcome experience to the catalog of the Nintendo Switch. While its graphics may be too simplistic and its plot not more than a motif to justify the game's action, Time Recoil brings very good action moments and it's a proposal that is very well suited to short gaming sessions.- FNintendo

Child of Light is a well-crafted action RPG that boasts some marvelous visuals and an outstanding soundtrack and matches them with an interesting, albeit not very varied combat system. The game may be over four years old by now but it certainly remains an RPG that can be easily recommended, even if its plot is not as involving as it should.- FNintendo
