    It would have been nice to see more thought put into the presentation, but fans of the series will feel right at home with this familiar layout.

    A nice new entry in the classic puzzle game series, with some interesting new ideas but also a not perfectly balanced difficulty level and a couple of missing options that we saw in previous entries.

    If you don't find yourself getting excited at the prospect of L-shaped blocks or GamePad play though, you might as well just stick with Dr. Mario Online Rx. Either way, the Wii U's newest entry in the Dr. series is a nice cap on a great first Year of Luigi.

    Dr. Luigi does everything his brother does, but sadly not much more. The new modes do nothing to spice up this aging series' formula, and I really doubt they will be enough to justify a purchase for even the most diehard fan.

    Germ fighting with Luigi offers good fun, but Dr Luigi is way over prized and you can easily get more and better similar puzzle games for less than a dollar/euro. This is just not worth the cost for Wii U, it doesn't have enough content.

    Dr. Luigi's methods are closely based on Dr. Mario's proven experiences, but he dares to develop his own therapy through signature pills. This innovative approach speeds up the virus eradication, even though it has secondary effects, as the versus battles show. It's just a shame that only two players can benefit this treatment, since the fun provided is really contagious.

    Dr Luigi is a solid example of the Tetris-like puzzler, but doesn't do anywhere near enough to justify the price of admission.

I've heard an occasional glitch in the songs where the song wiggs out and repeats or skips, or plays two songs at once, and local multiplayer leaves just a little something to be desired (a score keeper or a co-op mode of some sort would have been awesome, as many multiplayer matches in a row can become a bit stale since it doesn't keep track of wins/losses). It has 4 great modes, Retro Remedy, Virus Buster, Operation L, and the Online Mode. (I wouldn't recommend online mode for kids because you're usually gonna run into experts, or hackers.) What you have to do in the game is line up 3 or 4 colored pills with one of the blue, red and yellow thrills or chills, and fevers. (It's basically Tetris.) You can play up to 2 players in this game (but you could play 4 player in the Dr. Mario games on the N64 or Gamecube). The music in this game is pretty catchy after listening to it for 5 minutes straight. So I give this game a 8/10. Great!… Expand

The best part of Dr. Luigi is its online mode which includes head-to-head battles and leaderboards.
    For those who enjoyed the earlier iterations of this puzzler, it is a no-brainer to buy it. For those of you who haven't played Dr. Mario, but enjoy games such as Tetris and/or Bejeweled, Dr. Luigi is a safe play at $15.    … Expand
