L.A. Noire on the Nintendo Switch brings back the best of this criminal investigation game, as its excellent actor performances and facial animation still look impressive. As unique as L.A. Noire is, however, the conversion to the Nintendo Switch also has its flaws and it doesn't add anything too significant to the original game.- FNintendo

Battle Worlds: Kronos does its job of a strategy game competently, in a sector that's not very represented in the Nintendo Switch. While some elements are disappointing - the absence of the level creator and of an online multiplayer component are the main ones - the game does a decent work when it comes to its lifespan, combat system and local multiplayer component.- FNintendo

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams brings its mix of gorgeous artwork, fun and competent gameplay, enormous amount of content and customizable soundtrack to create an enjoyable platforming experience that is certain to find its place in the Nintendo Switch. Spirit Roots is a simple, 2D platformer that should not be underestimated. With a very appealing art style and a good level of challenge on its level bosses, Spirit Roots can be quite enjoyable. On the other hand, once the game is done there's not a lot of reasons to pick it up again but regardless of that, it's a very welcome addition to the Nintendo Switch catalogue.- FNintendo

With a gameplay mechanic that forces players into deciding on ethical and moral dilemmas, an interesting and involving plot and a top notch presentation, We. The richer plot and content are part of that and the random reward system was a very good bet on stimulating the player's curiosity and engagement. While the handheld experience had potential to take the game in a very good direction thanks to the use of touch screen controls, the small text size on the Switch screen makes it more difficult and there are some combat flaws that don't make much sense. With all that said, fans of the series will find a good bundle of fun in this sequel.- FNintendo

Nihilumbra does a perfect job at creating a nihilistic setting which will plunge the player in a gloomy, depressive spiral. Its visual and sound environments fit the game's plot without any flaws and the initial difficulty level allows the player to finish the plot-driven part of the game without problems. Things get more complicated once the player reaches the following segment, where the difficulty level hikes dramatically and the whole experience becomes much harder.- FNintendo

Reventure consists of a simple but by no means plain adventure which performs very well on the Nintendo Switch handheld format. While at first the adventure seems to follow a very standard formula, it soon becomes apparent that there's a lot more to Reventure than it looks at first and while the game doesn't stand out for its visual environment, its gameplay mechanics help it carve its own territory amidst its adventure game peers.- FNintendo

LOST ORBIT: Terminal poses several score challenges to the player while featuring a simple and accessible gameplay. It takes long to master but the rewards will be nothing short of marvelous, as magnificent worlds will open up before the players who invest their time and effort into this piece, if the repetitiveness of some moments does not put them off.- FNintendo

Another World – 20th Anniversary is a welcome new edition of one of videogaming’s most significant works and cult classic of other days. This port keeps all that made the original so appealing, while also keeping the frustrating difficulty and low replay value.- FNintendo

Rival Megagun joins the growing numbers of retro-styled shoot'em ups on the Nintendo Switch catalogue and adds a whole new dimension to the experience: a gameshow component, after shooting aliens. This makes for an interesting main game mode, despite the game's appeal being rather limited for solo experiences. Overall the multiplayer component is more attractive than going solo and it's only legitimate to expect that the game's online community will grow in the near future.- FNintendo

Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn is essentially a remastered version of Kirby's Epic Yarn, with a few tweaks when it comes to some new moves and the loss of the co-op component. Beyond that, the game remains the same: a very easy effort, which was mostly designed to be used as relaxation, rather than as a challenging, competitive piece of gaming and while it does a very good job at its primary goal, it might be too easy for players looking for something more compelling.- FNintendo

Ninja Smasher intends to bring back the spirit of 8-bit platformers and it certainly mastered its conventions: the plot is minimal as the player sets off through a maze-like map, with a difficulty curve that is very well adjusted to the player's own development as more items and techniques become available.- FNintendo

Featuring an interesting plot and an enjoyable open world, as well as the LEGO and Disney audiovisual quality, LEGO The Incredibles falls short on some aspects of its technical execution, as well as on its too simple combat system and long loading times.- FNintendo

Figment is an adventure game that proposes something unusual but not any less topical and relevant: how to deal with depression. With that in mind, the game presents a series of very attractive-looking hand-drawn sets that come to life during the game and a dynamic soundtrack that follows the players during the puzzle-solving duties. While the game's combats feel too simple and the puzzles are somewhat repetitive, this is without a doubt a very good approach to a complex theme and which will appeal to fans of adventure and puzzle games alike.- FNintendo

Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast has the right to a Nintendo Switch version many years after its original release, but age does not affect this Star Wars classic in any negative way. While the initial part of the game is rather cumbersome, after thirty-something minutes the player will get a significant push into the spirit of the saga and the game's plot, light saber duels and soundtrack will make a splendorous job at fully inserting the fans into this work.- FNintendo

Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling was made as a tribute to the Paper Mario series and in an attempt to recapture the spirit of the first game of the series. While Bug Fables does not succeed in this purpose, it does deliver a good game, with an addictive combat, well structured plot (and a lot of dialogues), as well as game world that's a marvel to look at. So while the more spiritual goal to pay tribute to Nintendo's series went off the mark, the secondary objectives to make a good game are undoubtedly successful.- FNintendo

Golem Gates successfully joins elements of Real Time Strategy games with those of card-based strategy games for an effort that provides a good level of strategic complexity and an interesting art style, as well as laudable online functionalities. It's also an accessible game, although it can feel too easy once the player has crafted a good enough deck of cards.- FNintendo

Skylanders Imaginators pursues the legacy of its predecessors and is a fun, simple and visually rich action-platformer that makes use of action figures to interact in the game. It could have been more generous, given how much of its contents require owning all the figures, which will weigh heavily on the players' budgets, but the game also allows some margin to finish its main plot without the need to overspend.- FNintendo

Mario Tennis Ultra Smash brings the fun and entertaining gameplay that is expected from a title in the Mario Tennis series, along with a wide variety of characters and courts which will keep its players around the racquets for quite a while. It doesn't go beyond that, as it also leaves the impression that the game needs some additional work and the lack of game modes make its content feel rather empty.- FNintendo

Floor Kids features an interesting and fluid gameplay style, which coupled with its soundtrack make this a well developed rhythm game. Were it not for its disappointing sub par presentation and art style (despite its fluid animation), and Floor Kids would stand out a lot more from the pack.- FNintendo

Flashback brings back one of the 1990s 16-bit classics in a perfect nostalgia exercise that also includes some interesting new elements. Its gameplay remains as demanding as it was, which will delight Flashback's fans and possibly frustrate more recent players who are not used to this kind of old school difficulty.- FNintendo

Thanks to its cooperative mode, its lifespan and relatively low price, this is a game that won't be out of its depth in any good Nintendo Switch collection, even if it somehow feels like a victim of the amount of 2D platformers on the console.- FNintendo

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition is a definitive version of a game that despite starting to show its age, it still offers a wide amount of content and a great variety of characters, as well as a top notch soundtrack. The game focuses a bit too much on the series' fans, however, and leaves little else to those unfamiliar with the One Piece universe, meaning it will not enlarge its audience by a whole lot.- FNintendo

Red Bow's 16-bit era visual environment may easily have it mistaken for an RPG, with a few point and click adventure elements here and there but there should be no mistake that this is a horror game, and it's a good evidence that a good horror game does not require a realistic looking environment to instill restlessness on its players. Although very short, Red Bow's simple gameplay and visual environment, as well as replay value, make this a production that's well worthy of attention.- FNintendo

A great improvement over its predecessor, Steel Diver: Sub Wars is successful at putting the player in a submarine environment, recreating several aspects of these vessels within the boundaries set by the 3DS. The overall short length of its one player mode and the lack of options on multiplayer mode end up becoming obstacles on its route, but this is a title that will not disappoint.- FNintendo
