Dead or Alive 6 is a fun experience, but lose any comparison with the previous chapters of the series. The gameplay suffers from the inclusion of new mechanics, and the offer doesn’t shine for a technical sector that's far from modern standards.- Everyeye.it

It had great potential, and it's a shame that it doesn't get a chance to fully express it. The art behind the project is simply beautiful, but gameplay doesn't show the level of polish we expected. It's still a 10 hours long fun-ride, so you might consider it even if it's not perfect.- Everyeye.it

Crazy shootings, a successful script that mixes comedy with clichés, and last but not least, a graphic restoration of the highest level, make Destroy All Humans! 2 Reprobed an excellent remake that we are convinced will be able to entertain both those who have already loved the saga, as well as the players who have never approached it before. Unfortunately the title suffers from a somewhat repetitive mission structure typical of the open world of sixteen years ago, but overall it still manages to engage the user thanks to an immediacy that has become damn rare these days.- Everyeye.it

Blades of Fire has a great merit: it is a game that innovates. And it does so with audacity, from the first minutes of the game, with a technical combat system and a crafting that requires strategy and attention to resources, statistics, enemies and progression. This is certainly the component around which the rest of the game was developed. And it shows: the care put into everything else is clearly less. Or rather, it is not always up to the ambitions of the game: to propose an epic story lasting 60-70 hours, with a combat system different from all the others and a crafting system that is never boring. Mercury Steam has not failed: it has simply only partially achieved the objective.- Everyeye.it

OddBallers presents itself as a potentially very fun title, but with an all too simplistic realization, which would certainly have benefited from greater care both in the expression of one's cheeky style and in the polishing phase. Since the idea behind the gameplay is so simple, we expect that in the future, with the right support, the Ubisoft title will be able to expand its already decent content offer, coming to constitute a good alternative in the field of party games.- Everyeye.it

Summing up the new Pokémon game always means triggering a conflict between heart and head. By heart, among other things, Scarlet and Violet have plenty to sell. Although very diluted and with a very staid pace, the plot entertains and surprises especially at the end, and the many supporting actors of this new epic are among the funniest and most intriguing of the entire franchise. Overall, Game Freak packs a fun and content-rich adventure, despite some of the new features not fully convincing. The open world works but at the same time is limited by a great underlying repetitiveness, while some of the most interesting achievements achieved by the spin-off on Arceus have been revised and adapted - not always positively - for the new formula. Where Winds Meet is a decidedly atypical free-to-play game, which, unlike many of its counterparts, has embraced a philosophy devoid of any pay-to-win mechanics. Not only does this system work, but it is also supported by a combat system and exploration that do their job well and are enjoyable, regardless of whether you decide to play alone or with other users. The only real flaw in this production remains the menus, whose complexity is excessive and could discourage many players who, without this kind of defect, could enjoy the wuxia adventure much more.- Everyeye.it

Stargate Timekeepers wants to bring the iconic sci-fi series back into vogue in the gaming world, but it succeeds with some glaring uncertainty in tow. The plot has some brighter moments towards the conclusion (of the first half) but also some inconsistencies linked to a characterization of the characters that is not always effective. The offensive possibilities within the tactical mode are interesting but also limited, as is the breadth of environments which ended up underlining some unrefined aspects of the gameplay. Timekeepers may appeal to the most avid fans of the franchise, but it lacks the refinements that could have made it an RTS capable of reaching greater heights. It remains to be seen whether future additions and improvements will increase the effectiveness of the gaming experience.- Everyeye.it

Formula Legends is a title born from a love of Formula 1 and powerfully conveys it. Graphically and artistically, it's delightful, with a unique style that blends nostalgia, humor, and attention to detail. The simcade driving model works, progression is rewarding, and the pit stop system adds a touch of originality. Race strategies, including tire, fuel, and variable weather management, make the races engaging and never predictable. There are, however, flaws, such as the collision physics that needs revising, the AI that isn't always well-calibrated, and, above all, the lack of multiplayer. These limitations, however, are relatively minor and don't overshadow the merits of a courageous project. For those seeking a different experience that captures Formula 1 with passion, Formula Legends is a welcome and, in some ways, necessary surprise. It's not perfect, but it's authentic and original, and that's perhaps its greatest strength.- Everyeye.it

Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust is a strange and half-successful experiment. Stripped of the crafting and all the secondary activities that characterized the vast world of Athia, the DLC focuses everything on the narrative, revealing an apparently essential background in order to continue exploring Frey's adventure. Without detracting from the quality of the plot, which in its final stages manages to reserve even unsettling twists, the downloadable content basically acts as a glue between Forspoken and its possible sequel, which at this point could really be part of the plans for the future of Square Enix. If we greatly appreciated the changes made to the combat system and the great focus placed on the cooperation between the two protagonists, we declare ourselves dissatisfied with the overall longevity of the DLC, in our opinion not exactly suitable for the entrance ticket (€ 12.50). With good reason, the purchase of In Tanta We Trust is recommended only for those few who loved the main game and would like to continue digging into the ever-rich mythology of Athia.- Everyeye.it

While not reaching the expressive heights of Limbo or Inside, Somerville is placed in the wake of Playdead's videogame experiments. Jumpship's first work offers intriguing suggestions on the artistic and thematic front, but fails to translate the amount of stimuli proposed into a truly concrete narrative message. An unsettled contrast between level design, direction and game mechanics is unfortunately the background to the entire experience, which thus fails to fully express its potential. With a total duration of about 4-6 hours and several endings - all equally hermetic - to be gutted, Somerville could still conquer fans of the reference genre, even without representing one of the best exponents.- Everyeye.it

Bleach: Rebirth of Souls is a love letter to Tite Kubo's work and his legions of fans. By forgoing even the slightest competitive ambition, Tamsoft has managed to translate the spectacular and even unpredictable nature of Bleach's battles into playful terms, developing a noisy and strategically-focused combat system. Unfortunately, the story mode, the online infrastructure, the roster of playable characters, and even the balance leave much to be desired, but we are nevertheless convinced that the developer has succeeded in its main intent, which was to create a tie-in that fully respects the unique and unmistakable style of the license. Ultimately, Bleach: Rebirth of Souls may not be the video game adaptation that Bleach fans deserve and have been waiting for for two decades now, but so far it is the closest thing to it.- Everyeye.it

The Centennial Case attempts to engage the player / spectator, but lacks the bite of a Telling Lies or the simple but welcome interactivity with the scenarios of an Ace Attorney. The quality of the cast's interpretations is discreet and the story manages to arouse interest in those who play, but without creating the urge to discover the truth that must distinguish every good thriller. It is an experience that may be appreciated by lovers of mystery, but which does not derive all the possible benefits that a greater contextualization in Japanese culture and history could have given. Green light for the new Batman: Arkham Shadow, a title that keeps its promises by bringing one of the most popular franchises in the traditional video game landscape to Meta viewers. Our experience with Meta Quest 3 was fun and at times very satisfying, with a dynamic and lively combat system and stimulating gameplay even in the more static phases of investigations or the study of areas to be tackled stealthily. NHL 23 is an improved and refined version of last year's edition. EA Vancouver had declared that it had taken advantage of all the criticisms raised by its passionate community: so it was. Too bad that to improve the playing experience on ice and offer greater realism, the team sacrificed everything else. It is not enough to have cleaned up the audiovisual sector, improved the AI, retouched the Franchise mode or added the possibility of playing with the IIHF girls: everything else is more or less the same as seen in NHL 22 and given the premises it was it is reasonable to expect more.- Everyeye.it

Shadow Warrior 3 isn't quite the game we expected, and on balance, we feel it's a big step back from its two predecessors. Lo Wang's latest adventure is plagued by unparalleled linearity, a cumbersome presence of identical platform stages and a fair amount of technical problems that inevitably affect the gaming experience. To support Shadow Warrior 3 are exclusively the charisma of the protagonist and the frenetic and fun fighting system, although its use is limited by a poor longevity and the total absence of extras that encourage users to return to the game (such as the New Game Plus or a trivial horde mode).- Everyeye.it

New Dawn remains a fun title and able to satisfy the tastes of Far Cry fans, but it is clear that the future of the saga depends on its ability to bring the substantially new to the table.- Everyeye.it

For better or for worse, Day Gone exceeds expectations. Bend Studio focuses heavily on the plot of its latest work, sometimes even at the expense of the gameplay, forced to adapt to the narrative needs of the survival game. Despite this, Days gone is still a very unique experience, thanks to its extremely recognizable personality shining through.- Everyeye.it

Mixing lovely 8-bit graphics, puzzle solving and managing aspects, The Escapists offers an original experience. Escaping can be fun, but it will also require patience and a lot of trial and error, especially when it come to the most complex prisons. It lacks any form of cooperation with the AI controlled inmates, and that's a shame.- Everyeye.it

An epilogue that is not exactly explosive, but totally consistent with the creative path of the development team, which over time has composed a content offer able to offer players dozens and dozens of hours of heart-pounding fun, including loads of loot, levels of additional difficulty, new mechanics, new weapons and extraordinarily tough enemies.- Everyeye.it

Asterigos: Curse of the Stars does everything discreetly, but nothing really well. It is a full-bodied production in practice, because it combines an extended narrative with a playful system full of interesting features. However, his very appreciable desire to be easily usable is not able to combine a good underlying complexity. The simplicity and immediacy of the individual game elements often represent more of a limit than an added value, with the adventure that just can't shake off that feeling of enjoyable but inconsistent lightness.- Everyeye.it
